Wapme Systems AG holds contest to win a dinner with Dolly Buster and 10,000 Euro

Duesseldorf, June 4, 2002

At the World Cup Soccer Championship, Wapme Systems AG holds a contest to win a special kind of prize. The lucky winner has the exceptional opportunity to have dinner with Dolly Buster. Wapme Systems AG invites the winner to Berlin where the guest spends the night in the Adlon hotel and where Dolly Buster hands him 10,000 Euro. The second and third prize is an MMS-enabled T68i mobile phone from Sony Ericsson.

The contest is rounded off by a strong media coverage to introduce the issue premium SMS to the public: To capture the evening for posterity, TV and print media will report on the handing over of the prize and the dinner with Dolly Buster.

To enter the contest, the contestant answers the question that he either finds in the Internet or is sent to him via SMS. His correct answer is submitted via a premium call or a premium SMS.

The premium SMS connection of Wapme Systems AG is realized at E-Plus and O2 (formerly VIAG Interkom), MobilCom and from the second week in June onwards at Vodafone D2. In general, T-Mobile (D1) does not offer premium SMS for third party providers yet; Wapme Systems AG will supposedly be connected in the third quarter of 2002 - at the same time as the other third party providers.

From one single source, Wapme Systems AG - as a service provider and system house for the mobile Internet - provides the technical platform, the delivery, the billing interfaces, handling of rights and the support for the new business unit premium SMS.

The solutions are presented in the course of the trade fair Mobile World in Berlin from June 4 to June 6, 2002 on stand number B10/C11 in hall 7.2a.
