For almost two decades, ParTec Cluster Competence Center GmbH has been a strong general-purpose cluster specialist. ParTec develops and supports a comprehensive suite of cluster management tools together with a runtime environment tuned for the largest distributed memory supercomputers in existence today and beyond.

ParTec's ParaStation Cluster Suite is extensively used in production environments, e.g. on the general purpose JURECA Cluster system with 2.2 PFlop/s peak performance run by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) and ranked no. 51 in the June 2016 TOP500 list. After extension by a Booster module providing additional 5 PFlop/s peak performance, the combined JURECA Cluster-Booster system reached rank no. 29 in the November 2017 TOP500 list.

ParTec participates in nationally funded research projects like FAST and in EU-funded Exascale projects like DEEP, DEEP-ER and DEEP-EST.
