Homes & Holiday AG: Real estate brokerage business on the Balearic Islands develops positively even during the pandemic - Seite 2

The year 2021 initially got off to a somewhat quieter start than the previous year, but by the beginning of March sales figures were already back at the level of 2020. Timo Weibel continues to look ahead positively: "The number of inquiries is at a record high and many customers are waiting in the wings, so to speak. Due to the low incidence figures on the island, they hope that the general situation will continue to ease in the coming weeks and that travel can be possible without quarantine and testing obligations."

The Homes & Holiday board expects that with normalized travel, vacation homes and apartments - after a difficult 2020 - will also be in high demand again in the current year. The subsidiary Porta Holiday, which specializes in vacation rentals on Mallorca, should benefit from this. A positive intermediate step was taken last Friday when the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) no longer classified Mallorca as a Corona risk area.
