Wirecard AG: Preliminary results Q2 2017 Aschheim (Munich). Wirecard AG reported a successful second quarter and first half 2017.

According to preliminary figures revenues in the second quarter 2017 grew in comparison to the previous year period by 41 percent from EUR mn 241.3 to EUR mn 339.8. In the first half of 2017 revenues increased by 36 percent to EUR mn 614.7 (H1/2016: EUR mn 451.8).


Preliminary earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) improved by 35 percent to EUR mn 95.1 (Q2/2016: EUR mn 70.4) in the second quarter of 2017.

In the first half year EBITDA rose by 33 percent from EUR mn 132.4 to EUR mn 176.4.

The Management Board expects a continuing positive business performance in the second half of 2017 and has confirmed its forecast for the fiscal year 2017 for an EBITDA of between EUR mn 392 to EUR mn 406.

All results are preliminary. The Q2 report will be published on 17 August 2017.
