So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt....
Die Meldung ist noch nicht in der offiziellen Liste der ASX zu ADX Energy aufgetaucht, wie das bie fureheren Meldungen voin XST passiert ist; viele duerften sie deshalb noch gar nicht wahrgenommen haben.
Ausserdem, wenn man die Nachricht negativ interpretieren wollte -- was ich persoenlich hier aufgrund des generellen Tenors der Meldung ausdruecklich *nicht* so empfinde -- dann koennte man aus der Meldung auch herauslesen, das es fuer die Testbohrung bis heute nicht einmal einen offiziellen Zeitrahmen oder andere Planungen gibt, sondern das der in ungewisser Zukunft liegt ("as soon as practicable").
Sollte die Meldung einen Einfluss auf den Kurs haben, dann erwarte ich den vielleicht mit dem morgigen Handel, wenn es sich mehr herumgesprochen hat.

Ich waere vorsichtig mit der Interpretation, das aus diesem Satz irgendwie hervorgeht, das der bisherige Fund mit einer hohen Wahrscheinlichkeit kommerziell abbaubar ist.
Hier wird lediglich erneut festgestellt, das ADX Oel angetroffen hat, und das benachbarte Gebiete foerdern. Diese Aussagen sind bereits seit Wochen bekannt und ihnen wird hier nichts neues hinzugefueht.
Auch XState bestaetigt, das man erst nach einem zukuenftigen Test ueberhaupt mehr wissen kann: "Conduct the flow tests in the well as soon as practicable". Auch hier hat XState nicht wirklich etwas an Fakten angeboten, das ueber die Veroeffentlichungen von ADX hinaus geht.
Trotzdem ist es sehr bemerkenswert, um wieviel optimistischer und positiver diese News von XState klingt, verglichen zu exakt denselben Fakten von ADX.
Nach wie vor halte ich daran fest, das ADX publizistisch vollkommen unverantwortlich vorgegangen ist; die Ziele von Blue Moon sind in meinen Augen nicht etwa deswegen unrealistisch, weil die Fakten nicht gut gewesen waeren, sondern weil ADX selbst sie schlecht-geredet und fuer enorme Verwirrung gesorgt hat. Mit einer Publizistik wie von XState haetten wir womoeglich Kurse, die den Extrapolationen von Blue Moon recht nahe sein koennten...

Hochgradig interessant, aus offensichtlichen Gruenden, die folgenden beiden Absaetze aus der Meldung:

Hört sich so an daß auch in mehreren anderen Schichten Kohlenwasserstoffe angetroffen wurden deren kommerzielle Verwertbarkeit noch getestet werden muß. Da explizit von Öl nur in der Abiod-Schicht die Rede ist vermutlich Gas/Kondensat.
Die optimistischen Aussagen sowohl von ADX als auch von Xstate deuten weiter darauf hin daß zumindest das gefundene Ölreservoir mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit kommerziell abbaubar ist. Und damit steigt auch die Wahrscheinlichkeit daß sich die Förderung einer der anderen Schichten lohnen könnte.

Hmm, die Nachricht kam bei den Dundees kurz vor Handelseröffnung. Kann mir fast nicht vorstellen, dass das in Bezug auf ADX noch eine Spätzünder wird, lasse mich aber gerne eines Besseren belehren...

Xstate’s Sidi Dhaher Oil Discovery – Ready for Testing
Highlights:
Sidi Dhaher exploration well drilled safely and made ready for flow rate testing

The drilling phase of the onshore Sidi Dhaher 1 oil and gas exploration well, located near Sfax on the Mediterranean coast in Tunisia, has been successfully completed and the drilling rig has been released (on 5 October 2011).
This will allow access, as soon as practicable, to the cased well for oil flow rate testing.
The drilling activities were completed with:
– No accidents;
– No environmental incidents; and
– Community relations were maintained in a constructive way to allow ongoing operations.
Xstate has now earned 10% interest in the Chorbane area and will be paying its 10% interest share of future costs and will receive the benefits from 10% of future production.
Sidi Dhaher oil discovery –potential 30 metre oil column
Samples of oil were collected from limestone reservoir rocks at a shallow depth (around 1,150 metres below the surface).
These oil samples and other technical measurements, including pressure and rock properties are interpreted to indicate good quality reservoir rocks with a potential oil column approximately 30 metres in thickness.
The oil samples appear to be light oil, consistent with the oil produced from nearby oil fields.

Other zones of interest in the Sidi Dhaher well require further detailed investigation, and analysis of the extensive physical property measurements taken during drilling.
Some of these zones may also be tested if the above analysis confirms them to be of economic interest.
The Sidi Dhaher well has been cased to provide stability and reservoir separation in the drilled well bore, and to allow near term access to the well for flow testing of the potential 30 metre oil zone.
Next steps
The next steps are to:
1. Continue evaluations of the data from the Sidi Dhaher Exploration well;
2. Use the results from these investigations and interpretations:
a. to map the potential oil reservoir;
b. to estimate the range of potentially recoverable oil and any associated gas; and
c. to determine the appropriate flow test program for the well;
3. Immediately investigate availability and timing of appropriate well test equipment;
4. Contract appropriate equipment for the well tests in accordance with the governing Chorbane Production Sharing Contract cost recovery provisions;
5. Advise shareholders of expected well test timing, and subsequently
6. Conduct the flow tests in the well as soon as practicable.
