Regelmäßig sind bei BLTI solche Push-Meldungen zu finden wie heute. Der Vortstand versucht dauernd die Aktie nach oben zu treiben. Das klappte in diesem Jahr bislang auch ganz gut, bis bei über 6 $ die Spitze erreicht wurde und die Aktie bei riesigem Volumen auf unter 4 $ zurückfiel.
BioLase präsentiert wirklich prächtige Zahlen aber selbst mit den geschätzten Zukunftsaussichten ist die Aktie bei ca. 3 $ ausreichend bewertet.
Für unwissende: BLTI produziert medizinische Laser. Für die Zahnmedizin wurde ein Laser entwickelt der eine schmerzlose Behandlung ermöglicht.

Da ich aber das Produkt kenne, und drei Zahnärzte (nur in Berlin) so ein Teil haben, bin ich an der Aktie interessiert.
Zumindest weiß ich, daß ich meinen Einsatz auf dem jetzigen Niveau
beim nächstjährigen Push zurückbekomme würde.
Ich weiß aber folgendes bei dem jetzigen Kurs: US Fonds haben mehr bezahlt und BLTI gilt bei US Zockern als heißes

The symposium`s main focus was on several major clinical advancements and applications for the Waterlase(TM) hard and soft tissue laser system. Participants from 20 countries and several major European universities presented new clinical findings for the Waterlase that will allow clinicians to provide better treatments in endodontics, periodontics, bone surgery, restorative dentistry, implantology and oral surgery.
Very significant advancements to dramatically improve root canal therapy using the Waterlase were presented by leading researchers from the University of Barcelona, Dr. Aranabat and Dr. Espana. They reported that the Waterlase was able to kill over 97% of the bacteria responsible for root canal infections. Their study demonstrated the Waterlase effectively disinfected root canals with a safer modality and without using chemical disinfectants. Dr. Aranabat and Dr. Espana commented, ``These findings are very significant because they show the Waterlase dramatically minimizes the risk of root canal failure due to bacterial recontamination. Additionally, by not using chemical disinfectants, the risk for bone damage is eliminated and any post-operative trauma is significantly reduced.``

Warum schafft es eigentlich wallstreet-online nicht die kurse von biolase upzudaten? die aktie liegt heute in frankfurt schon bei 5,35... in meinem depot stehen sie noch mit 4,20...

Da BTH aber bereits einer anderen Firma gehört, zeigt WO es nur an, wenn man unter Suche BTH eingibt und dann auf Symbolsuche klickt.

Net sales for the fourth quarter of 2002 increased 64% to $9.5 million from $5.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2001. Net sales for the year ended December 31, 2002 were $29.2 million, an increase of 63% over net sales of $17.9 million reported for the year ended December 31, 2001.
Net income for the fourth quarter was $1.1 million or $0.05 per diluted share, compared with $410,000 or $0.02 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2001. For the year ended December 31, 2002, net income was $2.6 million or $0.12 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $408,000 or $0.02 per share for the year ended December 31, 2001.

Ian Wyatt von Zacks Investment Research bleibt in seinem "Growth Report Newsletter" bei seiner Empfehlung "strong buy" für Aktien des amerikanischen Medizintechnikunternehmens Biolase Technology (WKN 894190).
Bereits vor Veröffentlichung der Ergebnisse des 4. Quartals sei Wyatt hinsichtlich Biolase, dessen Zukunftsaussichten und des Potentials der Aktie sehr positiv gestimmt gewesen. Jetzt sei er richtig verliebt in die Aktie. Biolase habe Dinge versprochen und das Management habe die Versprechungen erfüllt. So habe der Gewinn/Aktie von 0,05 USD an der Obergrenze der Unternehmensprognose von 0,02 - 0,05 USD gelegen.
Für das ganze Jahr habe Biolase einen Umsatz von 29,2 Mio. USD ausgewiesen, was einer Steigerung um 63% gegenüber 2001 entspreche. Im 4. Quartal sei der Umsatz um 64% auf 9,5 Mio. USD gestiegen. Im Jahr 2002 habe der Gewinn/Aktie 2,63 Mio. USD oder 0,12 USD/Aktie betragen. Auch Exporte hätten vermehrt zu diesem Wachstum beigetragen und machten jetzt bereits 24% vom Umsatz aus, gegenüber 18% vor einem Jahr. Die betrieblichen Kosten seien zwar im Jahresvergleich gestiegen, in Prozent vom Umsatz seien sie jedoch zurückgegangen.
Im Rahmen einer Konferenzschaltung habe Vorstandschef Jeffery Jones geäußert, dass Biolase das Marktpotential erst angekratzt habe, welches das Unternehmen auf 120.000 Zahnärzte in den USA und weitere 400.000 in anderen Ländern der wesentlichen Welt schätze. Dabei würde ein Marktanteil von nur 2% in den USA bereits einen zusätzlichen, jährlichen Umsatz von 130 Mio. USD bedeuten.
Keith Bateman, Vizepräsident für den weltweiten Verkauf, habe auch betont, dass Biolase eindeutig den Markt für zahnärztliche Laserprodukte dominiere und seinen Marktanteil in dem Maße immer weiter ausdehne, in dem sich eine loyale Gefolgschaft unter den Zahnärzten bilde. Die jüngste Umfrage zeige, dass 14,3% aller Zahnärzte einen Laser für harte Gewebe auf ihrer Kaufliste hätten und weitere 11,4% beabsichtigten, ein Lasersystem für weiche Gewebe anzuschaffen. Derzeit plane Biolase, die Anzahl seiner Vertreter in den USA von 25 zum Jahresende um weitere 7 - 10 Personen aufzustocken. Zusätzlich erwäge das Unternehmen, auch seinen Vertriebsstab in Europa von derzeit je einer Person in Italien und Spanien zu erweitern.
Nach Meinung von Wyatt handle es sich bei Biolase um ein äußerst interessantes Unternehmen, dass sich überaus schnell entwickle. Das Produkt werde von Zahnärzten stark unterstützt und auch die Kunden dürften das Wachstum ankurbeln, indem sie mehr und mehr eine Laserbehandlung fordern und schlussendlich darauf bestehen würden.

es sieht ganz gut aus. Der Aufwärtstrend hält trotz der Verschnaufpausen, meiner Meinung noch an.

Das Patent für den Waterlaser will ja auch für noch andere Bereiche, als den für die Zahnbehandlung, ausgenutzt werden.

Den Schätzungen nach liegt das KGV beim jetzigen Kurs Ende 2004 auf 20, bei einem Gewinn von etwa 50 cent.
Laß das Produkt mal durch die kommerziellen Medien laufen, dann wird der Kurs noch besser abgehen.
Doch denke ich bald einen Stopp zu setzen.

Unser Freund ajuga ist wahrscheinlich schon viel zu früh
ausgestiegen und ärgert sich nun, daß der Zug ohne ihn
abgefahren ist.
Dabei stehen wir erst einmal am Anfang einer Rallye, denn
noch haben schwergewichtige Analysten keinen Wind bekommen.
Erst dann erfolgt die Initialzündung, ggfls. geht zu dem
Zeitpunkt die Börse allgemein auch wieder mal nach oben.
Da ist ganz schnell noch mal ein Kursverdoppler drin.

Wenn man einen klassisch unterbewerteten oder turnaround-Wert sucht, kann man mit Biolase nichts anfangen.
Trotzdem, auf Biolase kann ich noch Jahre gut schlafen.
Noch nicht mal 50% der amerikanischen Dentistenschulen, sollen einen Wasserlaser haben.

Ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich die Aktie noch nie gehabt habe. Was solls, ich habe mit anderen Aktien verdient. BLTI war mir immer zu teuer.

Auch jetzt kann ich den Hype nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Die Zahlen sind natürlich toll, aber immer noch relativ klein!! Zur Zeit läuft es gut, aber immer mehr Konkurrenz wird kommen...! Einen Wasserlaser, etwas verändert, um Patentstreitigkeiten zu umgehen, werden bald auch Siemens, GE Medical und sonst wer auf dem Markt bringen, nachdem nun feststeht, dass die Methode von Ärzten und Patienten akzeptiert wird.
In ein paar Jahren könnte es bereits deutlich schlechter für die Mini-Firma (den Zahlen entsprechend ist sie das) aussehen.

Wenn du bei Stockpoint Quotes schaust, dann kannnst Du sehen, dass die Aktie schon bei 25 Cent per share steht und somit ein KGV von 82,9 hat. Im Februar werden die Zahlen für das 4. Quartal ausgegeben. Man erwartet zum Jahresende 31 Cent. Das ergäbe bei dem jetzigen Kurs ein KGV von etwa 67,5. Bei einem Wert mit diesem Wachstumspotential ist also durchaus noch Luft noch oben drin.

Also Vorsicht, die Darvasianer kaufen nur auf ATH und weil es gerade steigt. Sie interessieren sich überhaupt nicht für fundamentale Daten, z.B. Geschäftsentwicklung. Und wenn die Aktie fällt, dann wird sie auch ganz schnell wieder abgestoßen, denn es handelt sich um eine Trading-Strategie.
