(Neue Pipelines kosten Geld und die Gaspreise sind "im Keller") Ich sehe keine sonderlich große Gewinnmarge.

DENVER, Dec 3, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Gasco Energy Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: GASE) today announced Burlington Resources (NYSE: BR) reached total depth
on the Muddy Creek 33-27, the first well drilled under the Exploration Agreement
between Burlington and Gasco Energy. The company announced that Burlington has
captured nearly 80 miles of high resolution 2-D seismic over a portion of the
332,000 Area of Mutual Interest in the Greater Green River Basin of Wyoming. The
companies are partners under an Exploration Agreement to explore and develop a
series of deep natural gas plays in the Greater Green River Basin.
Burlington is the operator of the Muddy Creek 33-27 well. Pipe was set on the
well and completion activities will commence after the end of winter lease
stipulations. The second obligation well, the Grindstone Butte 41-8 began
drilling operations. Burlington will continue drilling this well through the
winter, as there are no stipulations on this lease. All drilling costs on these
two wells will be borne 100% by Burlington. No further information was made
available, with resulting production tests and log analysis kept strictly
confidential.
As part of the Exploration Agreement, Burlington shot 78 miles of
high-resolution 2-D seismic data before ceasing activities due to winter lease
stipulations. Burlington will resume shooting the remaining 112 miles of seismic
lines (for a total of 190 miles) around May 15, 2002, when the winter lease
stipulations are expected to end. Costs are borne 100% by Burlington Resources.
Computer processing and interpretation of the seismic data acquired to date will
occur during the next few months which will allow the information to be used in
designing a portion of Gasco`s 2002/2003 drilling program.

Es sieht gut aus. In den USA wurden gestern knapp 300.000 Aktien gehandelt. Das Volumen in Frankfurt zieht auch an, wobei das gerade mal ein Bruchteil der USA darstellt

Dies ist kein Pusherthread. Der Kurs hatte zwischenzeitlich ganz gut zugelegt, jetzt aber mit 2.20$ wieder nachgelassen. Für mich ist das kein Grund zur Beunruhigung. Das AMEX-Listing ist für mich klar wie Kloßbrühe, und nach diesem Listing dürfte Gasco vollkommen neu bewertet sein.

Gasco`s working interest in the Mesaverde intervals is 15%. Additionally, the Phillips Federal 31-29 has Wasatch formation natural gas potential behind pipe. Gasco owns 75% of the Wasatch pay in this well bore.
The Phillips Federal 34-29, located in Section 29, Township 9 South, Range 19 East, approximately three-quarter miles south of the Federal 31-29 well, was set up as a 12,600-foot test of the Mesaverde, Castlegate, and Mancos sands. According to the filing, the Phillips Federal 34-29 produced 648 Mcf of natural gas, 10 barrels of condensate and eight barrels of water on a six-hour flow test of the Mesaverde interval. Gasco`s working interest in the Mesaverde intervals is 15%. The test occurred in four fracture-stimulated Mesaverde intervals between 8,936 feet and 11,624 feet using a 16/64-inch choke with a 2,000-psi flowing tubing pressure. The third well drilled to date, the Federal 24-7, located in Section 7, Township 10 South, Range 18 East, approximately seven miles southwest of the Federal 31-29 and Federal 34-29, is currently completed and waiting on pipeline hook-up. No results from the drilling or completion of this well have been announced. Gasco owns a 20% before-pay-out working interest and a 15% after-pay-out working interest.
The company currently holds an average working interest of 45% in approximately 159,000 gross acres in the Riverbend Prospect. Phillips has the right to earn 80 percent of Gasco`s interests within their Area of Mutual Interest (AMI) with Gasco holding the remaining 20%. Gasco also holds a 75% to 100% interest in up to 150 shallower Wasatch exploitation locations within the AMI. The Uinta Basin has become an area of significant recent activity.
