    ...
Astra Space co-founders Chris Kemp and Adam London have offered to buy the company for $1.50 a share after a nearly 89% drop in the stock price this year.

The offer represents a 103% premium to the stock's closing price of 74 cents on Wednesday.

Kemp and London own all of Astra Space's Class B common stock, which commands about 66% of the voting power of the company. They are also on Astra's board. Kemp is chief executive officer and London is chief technology officer. Kemp also serves as chairman.

A special committee formed by the board and consisting of the board's independent directors will review the offer, Astra Space said in a regulatory filing.
