EVN AG: Business development in the 1st Half-year 2012/13 - Seite 4

during the first half of the 2012/13 financial year. Growing economic
weakness in EVN's core markets and an increase in the feed-in of renewable
energy brought a further decline in the market price of electricity.
Political uncertainty, above all in East and South Eastern Europe, is
complicating the preparation of forecasts for the development of business.
Based on the reported influencing factors, Group net profit for the 2012/13
financial year is expected to fall approximately 40% below the prior-year
value.
