Ein interessanter Fall für Longies - hier die Vorstellung der Websiet (www.pafificcomox.com):

Pacific Comox is focused on the exploration of the Ryan Lake copper-molybdenum claims at Matchewan, south of Timmins in Northern Ontario, and the Mabel gold/silver property in northern Sonora State Mexico.

Ryan Lake: Diamond drilling by Pacific Comox has outlined the potential for two copper-molybdenum open pits on a mineralized north-south trend about 2,000 feet long.

The first pit, at the south end of the trend encompasses the area of the former underground copper-molybdenum mine which was in production at 150 tons/day during the 1950-1957 period. In addition to the encouraging historical exploration results, evidence of the potential is illustrated by the results of Comox’s five diamond drill holes reported on September 19, 2005 including two holes on Section 10073E. Mineralization on this Section averaged 8.8 lbs/ton (0.44%) copper and 0.54 lbs/ton (0.027%) molybdenum over 110 feet.

The second pit is the former producing molybdenum open-pit, located 1,000 feet north of the first pit. To-date, six of the eight holes drilled by Comox in the area of this pit returned a near surface zone of higher grade molybdenum with an average of 2.0 lbs/ton (0.10%) molybdenum & 2.7 lbs/ton (0.14%) copper over an average length of 47 feet and starts at 15 feet from surface.

In addition to the encouraging exploration results to-date and the considerable exploration potential the currently operating barite mill on the property, and the other infrastructure should be a major advantage in advancing the property. The mill has crushing and grinding capacity of several hundred tons per day.

Mabel: Comox has outlined 6 areas of drill intersected mineralization (141 RC holes drilled). Two areas are summarized below:

*in one of Carmelitas areas 15 holes returned 2 g/t gold and 68 g/t silver over average intersections of 3 meters, and encompass an area 210 meters north-south and 260 meters east-west,
*in the Gate Zone, 14 holes returned 1.3 g/t gold and 70 g/t silver over an average interval of 4.1 meters, and encompass an area 600 meters north-south and 300 meters east-west.

Mabel Gold-Silver-Copper Property in Northern Sonora State Mexico

The Company reports a minimum 2,000 meter RC drilling program has started on the Mabel property. The objective of the program is to increase the density of drill holes in several areas where previous drilling has intersected shallow gold/silver mineralization and to also test for the lateral extension of these areas especially where 3 meter long chip samples indicated mineralization (previously reported).

The initial part of the program will test for extensions to the south and west of the 62 closely spaced mineralized holes previously reported in the Carmelitas North Zone which averaged 1.4 g/tonne gold & 48 g/tonne silver over average intervals of 5 meters starting at/near surface in many holes. This zone encompasses an area approximately 330 meters on a northwest-southeast trend and averages about 75 meters wide.

Infill drilling is planned for the adjoining Carmelitas South Zone where 7 of 9 holes previously drilled reported mineralization averaging 1.4 g/tonne gold and 48 g/tonne silver over 3 meters at/near surface.

Drilling will also test the Gate North, Gate South, Ridge and Micho Zones. The drilling program will provide additional drill hole data for a resource estimate on the Carmelitas and other areas of at/near surface goldsilver mineralization on the Mabel property.

In the Micho area Comox previously reported in hole RC-62, 6 meters of 1.5 g/tonne gold, and 51 g/tonne silver followed by 23 meters of 1.1% oxide copper and 10 g/tonne silver.

The Mabel property is about a 2 hour drive south from Tucson, Arizona. Robert Hill P. Eng. serves as the qualified person (QP) for the sampling and exploration programs under the definitions of National Instrument 43-101. The geologist on the Mabel program is Cesar Lemas. In the RC drill program the product is bagged separately for each meter of drill advance. A split sample is shipped by Company personnel to the Swastika Laboratory at Swastika, Ontario, an accredited laboratory.

      Resource Criteria

The mineral resources in this press release were prepared pursuant to the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), CIM Standards on Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions and Guidelines prepared by the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve Definitions and adopted by CIM Council December 11, 2005 and compliant with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Exploration and Development and Mining Properties.

Mr. Lawrence Buss, P. Geo., P. Geol. of Buss Services Inc. is the Independent Qualified Persons for Pacific Comox's Resource Estimate for the South Zone. Mr. Buss has reviewed and approved the contents of this press release.

The resource estimate was developed via block model analysis from 88 NQ diamond drill holes with an average length of 132 meters, with most drilled at a dip of 45 degrees on a nominal 15 meter spacing. All assay values are uncut and the inverse distance squared grade search criteria was used for the resource grade calculation. The specific gravity factor of 2.83 was determined by SGS Lakefield from 16 core samples of various rock units within the mineralized zone. The report describing the estimate will be filed as a Technical Report and posted on SEDAR within 30 days.

      Ryan Lake Quality Control

Pacific Comox has a quality control program in place to ensure best practices in sampling and analysis of drill core. Company quality control included the analysis of duplicates in addition to those used by the laboratories for their own routine testing. All analytical work was conducted by Swastika Laboratories Ltd., an accredited laboratory located at Swastika Ontario. Samples for check assays were submitted to SGS Lakefield.

      Potential Additions To Mineralization

The South Zone deposit is open in all directions. Many holes ended in mineralization. Most sections drilled to date indicate that additional mineralization may be added by drilling beyond the limits of the existing drill holes.

Pacific Comox is planning a drill program for this summer to test the expansion potential of the South, North and CLT Zones.

      Ryan Lake Infrastructure

A mill with an approximate capacity of 250 tons/day is located on the Ryan Lake property and is currently processing barite. Pacific Comox owns the mill building and certain equipment which may be utilized for a copper/molybdenum milling operation.

The Ryan Lake property is located approximately 4 km west of Matachewan, Ontario and 60 km west of Kirkland Lake. Hwy 665 traverses the Ryan Lake claims.

Pacific Comox Program At Ryan Lake

Pacific Comox's focus at Ryan Lake is to increase the quality and quantity of the resources at the Company's three deposits on the Ryan Lake property, and on the completion of the Closure Plan which is underway complete a scoping study assessing the production alternatives for the property.

Pacific Comox is also exploring a number of copper/molybdenum showings on optioned claims near or contiguous to the Ryan Lake claims.

Exploration Program On Mabel Property Northern Sonora Mexico

Pacific Comox has completed the first 4,000 meter phase of an RC drilling program on the Carmelitas South and West areas of the Mabel property. A second phase of a minimum of 2,000 meters will be starting shortly. Most of the holes are less than 20 meters deep. The program is designed to further assess the at/near surface gold/silver mineralization potential of a number of areas on the property where previous drilling has indicated mineralization.

The program on the Carmelitas North area returned 62 mineralized holes averaging 1.4g/tonne gold and 48g/tonne silver over an average length of 5 meters.

Preliminary metallurgical work on a 100 kg composite sample from the areas of drill intersected mineralization is underway. A resource estimate is being started which will include the results of the current drilling program. Donald Empey, President

Exploration Program On Mabel Property Northern Sonora, Mexico

Pacific Comox has drilled 611 holes on the Mabel property totalling 12,546 meters giving an average hole length of 20 meters. Carmelitas has been an area of concentrated closed spaced drilling to provide data for the resource estimate but it still has exploration potential in several areas where the drilling has been more widely spaced.

As shown in Table 1, all the zones which have been drilled have returned holes or widely spaced clusters of holes which offer significant exploration potential. More closely spaced drilling is needed to assess the economic potential of the holes. For example, 11 contiguous holes in the Gate North area have averaged 1.6 g/tonne gold and 78 g/tonne silver over average mineralized intervals of 5 meters. However, the holes are approximately 50 meters apart and more closely spaced drilling is planned to test the ultimate size of the zone and increase the hole density.

Preliminary metallurgical work, previously reported, on a 100 kg composite sample from the areas of drill intersected mineralization has been partially completed. The heap leach amenability tests (coarse mineralization bottle roll cyanidation tests) were conducted on approximately 1,000 gram of whole mineralization at different crush sizes for a 14 day period. Test results are summarized in Table M-1 below. The heap leach amenability cyanidation recovery of gold increased from 85.1% to 86.7% for gold and from 81.7% to 86.0% for silver when the feed size was decreased from 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) to 2.0 mm. 9.0 g/tonne Gold and 118 g/tonne Silver Over 6 Meters Starting at 2 Meters Reported on Mabel Property Mexico in Recent Diamond Drilling Program to Support N. I. 43-101 Compliant Resource Estimate

      * Press Release
      * Source: Pacific Comox Resources Ltd.
      * On Wednesday September 9, 2009, 4:33 pm EDT

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 9, 2009) - Pacific Comox Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:PCM - News) reports assays for 27 of 43 diamond drill holes (1,003 meters) completed on the Carmelitas Zone of the Mabel property in northern Sonora State, Mexico. Almost all the holes drilled on Mabel previous to this program were reverse circulation. In the current program 27 diamond drill holes twinned selected reverse circulation holes in all areas of the Carmelitas Zone. The holes tested a number of stronger and weaker mineralized areas. They provide additional required structural data for the completion of a N. I. 43-101 compliant resource estimate.

The calculated mineralized intervals for the holes which reported significant mineralization are given in Table 1. A number of holes which tested weakly mineralized areas were also generally weakly mineralized. A statistical comparison of the diamond drill holes and the previous reverse circulation drill holes will be provided in the N. I. 43-101 report.

Diamond drill hole DDH029 in this program, as given in Table 1, returned strong results of 9.0 g/tonne gold and 118 g/tonne silver over a 6 meter interval starting at 2 meters in the hole.

Carmelitas has been an area of concentrated drilling to outline at/near surface gold/silver mineralization on a tighter drill spacing basis than the other 4 zones on Mabel where a significant amount of drilling has also been completed. To September 2009, excluding the current diamond drill program, 195 mineralized holes have been drilled in the Carmelitas Zone including 46 higher grade holes that averaged 2.9 g/tonne gold and 104 g/tonne silver, with an average mineralized interval of 4.5 meters.

Pacific Comox has drilled 611 holes, mainly reverse circulation, on the Mabel property totalling 12,546 meters in addition to the current diamond drill program. All the zones which have been drilled have returned holes or widely spaced clusters of holes which offer significant exploration potential. For example, 11 contiguous but widely spaced holes in the Gate North area have averaged 1.6 g/tonne gold and 78 g/tonne silver over average mineralized intervals of 5 meters with an average spacing of about 50 meters. More closely spaced drilling is needed to assess the economic potential of the zones. In the current campaign 15 holes were drilled on Gate Zone and will be reported when repeat assays are received. One hole tested an EM geophysics anomaly adjacent to Carmelitas.

It is planned to follow the current resource estimate with a preliminary economic assessment of the project based on the completed metallurgical test work and the resource estimate.

Bhagwat Singh P. Eng. serves as the qualified person (QP) for the sampling and exploration programs under the definitions of National Instrument 43-101. The geologist on the Mabel program is Cesar Lemas. For the RC drill program the product was bagged separately for each meter of drill advance. In the current diamond drill program the core was sawn and intervals selected for assay. A split RC or diamond drill sample was shipped by Company personnel to the ALS Chemex sample preparation facility at Hermosillo, Sonora which forwards prepared samples to the ALS Chemex Vancouver facility for assay.

Comox's Leach Test # 1 on a 2.3 Tonne Sample Gave Recoveries of 77% for Gold and 59% for Silver

      7:00 AM ET, March 29, 2010

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Mar 29, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Pacific Comox Resources Ltd. (PCM) reports the cyanide leaching results of the first bulk sample of gold/silver mineralization at Mabel. Based on the beginning and ending assays, the gold recovery was 77% and silver 59% for a 2.3 tonne sample of mineralization from a number of outcropping veins in the Carmelitas area of the Mabel property, during a 16 day leach period and crushed to 1.9 cm (0.75 inches). The head grade for Test # 1 was 2.1 grams/tonne (g/t) for gold and 61 g/t for silver.
      GFCMarkets

A larger Test # 2 with a 12.9 tonne sample of mineralization and crushed to a smaller size of 1.3 cm or 0.5 inches is now underway.:)

These tests will provide data for the preliminary economic assessment of gold/silver production at Mabel using a cyanide leach process and for process design. Test 2 mineralization is from several gold/silver areas previously drilled on the Carmelitas zone. The preliminary economic assessment incorporates the resource estimate for Mabel.

Carmelitas has been an area of concentrated drilling to outline at/near surface gold/silver mineralization on a tighter drill spacing basis than Gate or the other 3 zones on Mabel where a significant amount of drilling has also been completed. To March 2010, excluding the diamond drill twinned hole program, 195 mineralized holes have been drilled in the Carmelitas Zone including 46 higher grade holes that averaged 2.9 g/t gold and 104 g/t silver, with an average mineralized interval of 4.5 meters.

Bhagwat Singh P. Eng. serves as the qualified person (QP) for the exploration programs under the definitions of National Instrument 43-101. The geologist on the Mabel program is Cesar Lemas. A split sample of the feed and tails from the leach test was collected by Company staff and shipped by Company staff to the ALS Chemex sample preparation facility at Hermosillo, Sonora which forwards prepared samples to the ALS Chemex Vancouver facility for assay.
