Das würde bedeuten, dass die Behörde dort schon wissen könnte, dass man unconventionals anders angehen muss ....
Wie auch immer: ADX hat definitiv keinen Kracher aber verkauft noch die Hoffnung auf eine wirtschaftliche Förderung und ich werde mir einen weiteren Tee bestellen ....

Fakt ist:
Man nichts gesagt über die anderen Ziele.
Weder eine Bestätigung darüber, daß sie leer sind noch eine darüber, daß was gefunden wurde.
Und 30m ist nicht gerade wenig... zumal zusammenhängend .
Über die weitere räumliche Ausdehnung wissen wir auch nichts, kann groß sein, kann klein sein ...
Da werden wir wohl warten müssen
Mal für alle Interessierten Auszüge aus dem RH thread ... sehr schön zu sehen, es ist dort verlaufen ähnlich wie hier ... sogar teilweise Einbrüche von über 70% in kurzer Zeit , kurz vor Verkündung der endgültigen Ergebnisse ... das soll hier nur mal ein Denkanstoß sein und erhebt keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit bzw. Kaufempfehlung ect
Ein ständiges Auf und Abund man kann auch mal sehr schön sehen, über welchen
Zeitraum sich sowas hinziehen kann

Drilling Programme Update
Rockhopper Exploration, the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that well 14/10-2 on the Sea Lion prospect has reached a depth of 2,744 metres. Initial data collected indicate that this well is an oil discovery, which would be the first in the North Falkland Basin.
The Company has run a suite of wireline logs and logging data collected thus far indicate that the well has encountered a 150 metre gross interval of sand and shales. The data show that the well has 53 metres of net pay distributed in multiple pay zones, the thickest of which has a net pay of 25 metres. These pay zones have an average porosity of 19%.
Rockhopper now intends to collect additional logging information prior to making a decision whether to plug and abandon the well, or to suspend the well for future testing. The Company is also considering whether to drill an appraisal well on Sea Lion later during the current drilling campaign. Further information will be distributed in due course.

Oil Discovery - Completion of Logging
Rockhopper Exploration, the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration
company, is pleased to provide the following update on results of the 14/10-2
well on the Sea Lion prospect.
Wireline fluid and pressure testing has been completed. Multiple pressure
readings and multiple fluid samples have been successfully obtained.
The Ocean Guardian is not equipped with facilities to analyse the fluid samples,
so analysis of the fluid samples will take place after the sample containers are
shipped to a dedicated laboratory. However, the fluid sampling process suggested
the following preliminary observations:
o All samples indicated to be oil;
o The sample chambers filled rapidly, indicating a good quality reservoir with
no evidence of any free water as the sample chambers filled; and
o Filling characteristics suggest a mobile crude oil.
Pressure data was good with most attempted test points successfully located in
good quality reservoir.
o Pressure readings indicate the possibility of two separate oil columns; and
o No oil water contacts or water sands have been recognised in the well.
Wireline sidewall cores have also been collected and the samples will be
evaluated for reservoir characteristics in a laboratory.
The Company will make a further announcement once all the laboratory testing is
complete and the above initial findings are verified.
The Company intends to run a liner and apply to suspend the well for future
testing.
It is anticipated that operations will take a further week to ten days. A
further announcement will be made once the rig is released.

Hast Du Informationen ob Rockhopper strategisch ein nur reiner Explorer bleiben möchte und somit einen Verkauf der Liegenschaften anstreben würde, oder wollen die Produzent werden, vorausgesetzt die aktuellen Ergebnisse können tatsächlich auch kommerziell verwertbar werden.

Oil Discovery - Completion of Well
Rockhopper Exploration, the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to confirm that well 14/10-2 on the Sea Lion prospect has been successfully suspended for future testing.
The well was drilled to a total depth of 2,744m and the duration of the rig hire was 35 days.
Work continues on analysis of the results of the well The physical samples taken from the well are currently being transported to the United Kingdom by freight plane, and are due to arrive shortly. Based on that timetable, the Company anticipates making a further update within the next 10-15 days at which point it expects to be able to provide initial estimates of the potential size of the discovery.

Falklands oil explorer Rockhopper gushed 11p to 262.75p amid late rumours of an imminent fund-raising at a significant premium to the prevailing price. The group's Sea Lion well, drilled in the North Falklands, recently struck oil, the first in the area. A lot more cash will be required for working capital.

die FOGL- Meldung von gestern ist ja bekannt und dürfte in keinem Zusammenhang zum Ausverkauf von RKH stehen. RKH wollte dieser Tage melden, welche Größe ihr Fund hat.

es warten alle auf das Ergebnis von RKH. Da kann es auch sein, daß ein paar SL diese ganze Lawine ausgelöst haben. Viele werden dann natürlich denken, es ist durchgesickert, dass der Fund enttäuschend ist und verkaufen auch bestens. Chaos pur.

Statement re. Share Price Movement
Rockhopper Exploration, the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration company, notes the significant share price movement today. Rockhopper is not aware of any reason for this movement but makes the following update:
Work is continuing on analysing the results of the Sea Lion 14/10-2 well and is expected to be concluded shortly. The Directors have no reason at present to believe that the outcome of the analysis will not meet their expectations as regards to potential resources.
As regards oil quality, there has been a delay in returning a sample to the UK due to air transport logistics difficulties between the Falkland Islands and the UK and subsequently clearing Customs. The sample is however now in the UK and analysis will be underway very shortly. Nevertheless, a sample of oil from the shallowest oil sand in the well was subjected to a preliminary test in Stanley and this indicated a medium grade crude, broadly in line with the Directors' expectations, with an API of 26.3.
A further announcement will be made when the full results are available which is expected to be in the next few days.

280 Pence ist nicht so viel günstiger als der aktuelle Marktpreis.
Und ich glaube nicht, das diese sofort auf dem Markt angeboten werden.
Was man so hört, war die Nachfrage weitaus größer als die angebotene Menge.
Bei dieser Kapitalerhöhung hatte ein Privatinvestor keine Chancen dranzukommen, die Aktien gingen ausschließlich an Institutionelle Investoren. (Deshalb die Begrenzung auf 10% des Aktienbestands, eine höhere Kapitalerhöhung hätte Rockhopper dazu verpflichtet, diese auch für alle zu öffnen.)
Obwohl es da sicher auch genügend Zocker gibt, werden die sich bestimmt nicht so schnell von den Aktien trennen.
Die Menge im Markt zu kaufen, zu dem Preis, wäre unmöglich gewesen.

der Kurs springt schon an. 328 in London, Desire fast unverändert.
Gedanklich bin ich schon die ganze Zeit dabei aufzustocken, aber an der Umsetzung fehlts noch. Bin mir ziemlich sicher, das in den nächsten 30 Tagen der Kurs von RKH mehr steigt als der von DES. Bei Fogl war das doch ähnlich, wenn ich mich noch erinnere.

• Rockhopper announced on Friday that the Sea Lion discovery well had been successfully flow-tested at sustained rates in excess of 2,000bopd over an 18 hour period.
• Equipment constraints limited the flow-rates which we understand would have been up to 3x higher if the well had flowed unrestricted. There were no flow assurance issues during the test, a concern ahead of events given the wax content of the crude
• Downhole pressure gauges will be recovered which will help confirm the continuity of the reservoir sections tested and connected volumes around the well locatio
• We view this test result a significant milestone is derisking the commerciality of the Sea Lion discovery. In our base case model for Sea Lion we assume horizontal production wells come on at peak rates of 6-8kbopd with long-term support from water injection and possibly ESP's and this result appears to more than underpin these assumptions
• Our unrisked NAV for Sea Lion based on the current P50 240mmb reserve case is 786p/sh, unchanged on the back of this update.
• The company has yet to confirm a date for appraisal drilling given the forward programme with the Ocean Guardian remains fluid. The next well in the programme is Rachel in which Rockhopper has a 7.5% stake worth c61p/sh unrisked if successful and which has been significantly derisked by the success of Sea Lion (analogous prospect in the same play, located in the block directly to the south on the eastern margin of the basin)
• We re-iterate our BUY recommendation. Ignoring cash balances, the shares are trading at just over 50% of our unrisked NAV for Sea Lion under the P50 case which we believe is far too conservative

Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration company,
announces that the 14/10-4 appraisal well was spudded at 0040hrs GMT on 19 February 2011.
14/10-4 is the first appraisal well to be drilled on the Sea Lion feature situated on Licence PL032,
which is 100% owned and operated by Rockhopper.
The appraisal well (14/10-4) is located 2.3km away from the Sea Lion 14/10-2 discovery well, in the
southern lobe of the Sea Lion fan system. 14/10-4 is designed to investigate reservoir and
hydrocarbon columns downdip of the Sea Lion 14/10-2 discovery well. The planned Target Depth of
circa 3,000 metres will investigate the possibility of deeper sands than those encountered in the Sea
Lion discovery well.
Drilling operations are expected to take approximately 38 days and a further announcement will be
made once drilling is completed.

A total of 17,320,000 new ordinary shares of the Company (the "Placing Shares") have been placed by Canaccord Genuity Ltd at a price of 280 pence per Placing Share, raising approximately £48.5 million before expenses.

280 Pence ist nicht so viel günstiger als der aktuelle Marktpreis.
Und ich glaube nicht, das diese sofort auf dem Markt angeboten werden.
Was man so hört, war die Nachfrage weitaus größer als die angebotene Menge.
Bei dieser Kapitalerhöhung hatte ein Privatinvestor keine Chancen dranzukommen, die Aktien gingen ausschließlich an Institutionelle Investoren. (Deshalb die Begrenzung auf 10% des Aktienbestands, eine höhere Kapitalerhöhung hätte Rockhopper dazu verpflichtet, diese auch für alle zu öffnen.)
Obwohl es da sicher auch genügend Zocker gibt, werden die sich bestimmt nicht so schnell von den Aktien trennen.
Die Menge im Markt zu kaufen, zu dem Preis, wäre unmöglich gewesen.

der Kurs springt schon an. 328 in London, Desire fast unverändert.
Gedanklich bin ich schon die ganze Zeit dabei aufzustocken, aber an der Umsetzung fehlts noch. Bin mir ziemlich sicher, das in den nächsten 30 Tagen der Kurs von RKH mehr steigt als der von DES. Bei Fogl war das doch ähnlich, wenn ich mich noch erinnere.

Rockhopper Exploration (RKH, BUY, 420p) - Successful Sea Lion flow-test
• Rockhopper announced on Friday that the Sea Lion discovery well had been successfully flow-tested at sustained rates in excess of 2,000bopd over an 18 hour period.
• Equipment constraints limited the flow-rates which we understand would have been up to 3x higher if the well had flowed unrestricted. There were no flow assurance issues during the test, a concern ahead of events given the wax content of the crude
• Downhole pressure gauges will be recovered which will help confirm the continuity of the reservoir sections tested and connected volumes around the well locatio
• We view this test result a significant milestone is derisking the commerciality of the Sea Lion discovery. In our base case model for Sea Lion we assume horizontal production wells come on at peak rates of 6-8kbopd with long-term support from water injection and possibly ESP's and this result appears to more than underpin these assumptions
• Our unrisked NAV for Sea Lion based on the current P50 240mmb reserve case is 786p/sh, unchanged on the back of this update.
• The company has yet to confirm a date for appraisal drilling given the forward programme with the Ocean Guardian remains fluid. The next well in the programme is Rachel in which Rockhopper has a 7.5% stake worth c61p/sh unrisked if successful and which has been significantly derisked by the success of Sea Lion (analogous prospect in the same play, located in the block directly to the south on the eastern margin of the basin)
• We re-iterate our BUY recommendation. Ignoring cash balances, the shares are trading at just over 50% of our unrisked NAV for Sea Lion under the P50 case which we believe is far too conservative

14/10-4 Appraisal Well Spud
Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the North Falkland Basin oil and gas exploration company,
announces that the 14/10-4 appraisal well was spudded at 0040hrs GMT on 19 February 2011.
14/10-4 is the first appraisal well to be drilled on the Sea Lion feature situated on Licence PL032,
which is 100% owned and operated by Rockhopper.
The appraisal well (14/10-4) is located 2.3km away from the Sea Lion 14/10-2 discovery well, in the
southern lobe of the Sea Lion fan system. 14/10-4 is designed to investigate reservoir and
hydrocarbon columns downdip of the Sea Lion 14/10-2 discovery well. The planned Target Depth of
circa 3,000 metres will investigate the possibility of deeper sands than those encountered in the Sea
Lion discovery well.
Drilling operations are expected to take approximately 38 days and a further announcement will be
made once drilling is completed.

Das hieße, das die anderen Reservoirs (einschl. der vermuteten Gaslagerstätten in Metlaoui und Nara) leer sind. Getestet wurde hierbei die Bohrtiefe von 1000m bis 2011m, in diesem Bereich liegen die genannten 6 Schichten.
Fazit:
1. Das sehr optimistische Szenario von Xstate ("300 mill. barrel") kann ausgeschlossen werden!
2. Auch die ADX-Schätzungen (Gas und Öl mit insgesamt "74 mill. barrel") werden sich bei nur einem erfolgreich getesteten Reservoir nicht erfüllen!
Hiermit dürften die Erwartungen bezüglich der Gesamtmenge an kommerziellen Kohlenwasserstoffen in Sidi Dhaher wohl geringer ausfallen.
Auch die Kursentwicklung der Aktie scheint bereits eine gewisse Ernüchterung vorweg zu nehmen. Soll heißen:
Keine hohen Erwartungen = geringes Kaufinteresse!
Sicher, Sidi Dhaher ist kein Flopp! Aber es ist auch nicht der erhoffte "Big Bang"!!
