Magnis selects US Southwest site for anode active material manufacturing facility
Magnis has executed a letter of intent for the Phase 1 anode active materials commercialisation facility in the US Southwest.The site was a key contender that was selected from amongst the sites undergoing an advanced review along with shortlisted sites in the Midwest and Southeast regions.
Considerations for its selection from other shortlisted sites by Magnis Energy Technologies (ASX:MNS) were proximity to logistics and key offtakers.
All shortlisted sites had already satisfied evaluations for size, power, and infrastructure requirements, along with expansion possibilities.
The company is now negotiating incentives and support packages with the local, state, and federal government agencies.
“Magnis is pleased to make this update announcement. Within the limits of our NDAs, we are pleased to share that this hallmark project is immensely welcomed by the United States Federal and State teams who are deeply engaging with Magnis’ teams to ensure that Magnis’ US footprint is well equipped for the intended business purpose,” managing director (USA) Hoshi Daruwalla said.
“Announcing a natural graphite anode active material manufacturing facility on US soil, supported by engagements from US-friendly nations, is a significant step in Magnis’ journey and for the United States’ energy-related critical materials self-reliance.
“The appropriate associated US onshoring incentives are being discussed and negotiated.”

iM3NY Cell Certification Update
Na endlich, jetzt geht es hoffentlich aufwärts 💸• iM3NY has successfully completed 6 out of the 7 relevant tests for UN38.3 certification, with 1 result now pending
• Cells are currently in the final (T8) test and will be deemed concluded after a 7-day observation period
• UN38.3 certification is an internationally recognised standard established by the United Nations for the transportation of lithium-ion cells
• An official report regarding compliance to UN 38.3 certification is expected within 2 weeks
Magnis Energy Technologies Ltd (“Magnis”, or the “Company”) (ASX: MNS; OTCQX: MNSEF;
FSE: U1P) is pleased to provide an update on the UN38.3 certification process for cells produced
by iM3NY. Magnis is the major shareholder of iM3NY.
To date, 6 tests have been successfully completed. One last test is underway, which is the Forced
Discharge process. This final test (T8) has commenced and is expected to conclude after a 7-day
observation period. An official report regarding compliance to UN 38.3 certification is then expected
within 2 weeks.
Magnis is pleased to report that the thermal test (which was non-compliant in earlier testing) has
now been passed.

Winston...mir fehlt ganz dringend ein positives Ergebnis zur ausstehenden Tauglichkeitsstudie der Cells, die im Winter negativ war.
Das rumort im Hintergrund. Bis dahin sehe ich kein grünes Licht, auch wenn sich hier gute Strukturen entwickeln.
