Neves, who is from Northern Portugal, has a background in both technology and fashion. A programmer since age 19, Neves was also a shoe designer and owned fashion boutiques before launching Farfetch in 2008. A spokesperson for Farfetch declined to comment when asked about Neves’ net worth.
