WELL HEALTH LOOKS TO INVEST $2.5 MILLION INTO AI COMPANIES DEVELOPING HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS

Well Ventures, the investment arm of Canadian healthtech company Well Health, has launched an “investment program” for artificial intelligence companies that are developing solutions for healthcare providers.

Well said it aims to make a minimum of 10 AI-related investments of at least $250,000 each. The venture group said it plans to make a minimum investment of $2.5 million. While the company said there’s no defined timeline, it intends to make “a number” of these contributions in 2023.

Well said that data protection and cybersecurity applications will also be considered.
The Vancouver-headquartered, Toronto Stock Exchange listed company pulls its venture money from its internal pool of capital.

Well’s interest in AI for healthcare comes as the market for it is estimated to reach a valuation of nearly $188 billion USD by 2030, driven by its capabilities to automate various tasks.

Well Health launched its investment arm in 2021 to formalize its approach in making strategic minority investments in digital health and wellness startups.

In addition to capital, the new AI investment program will also provide companies with support from Well’s network to help develop, test, and integrate their technologies into the Canadian healthcare ecosystem.

Bin bei Well Health T. mit der Entwicklung des Kurses des Unternehmens und des Aktienverlaufs sehr zufrieden. Der Grund für mein Invest ist die medizinische Situation in Kanada. Das System gibt jedem Bürger die Selbsteinschätzung ob er einen Arzt aufsucht oder nicht. Natürlich ist es eine Geld frage. Aber genau das ist ja der Grund für mein Invest. Ich beurteile nicht die Vor- oder Nachteile dieses Systems sondern die Möglichkeiten die sich dem Unternehmen bieten. Hier sehe ich eine gute Situation um langfristig dabei zu bleiben. Es gibt Dividende, der Kurs relativ ausgebomt, Well hat einen Zukunftsplan und zum letzten ist Well Marktführer in Kanada und der Markt ist für Übernahmen immer offen. Freue mich auf eure Meinungen und Anregungen. 😀 schönes Wochenende

NOVA SCOTIA SELECTS OCEANMD FOR ELECTRONIC SURGICAL CONSULT REFERRALS TO HELP REDUCE WAIT TIMES

Pursuant to an announcement made on March 29, 2023, the Province of Nova Scotia has selected a new electronic tool, Well Health Technologies Corp.'s Ocean e-referrals, to manage surgical referrals and make the process more efficient for physicians and patients.

This new system will help patients receive better information on the status of their referral and will lead to shorter wait times in the long run. The goal is to improve the process of sending and receiving surgical referrals for both primary care providers and surgeons, to support improved access, and provide better information to support planning and care.

Hm, hier in Deutschland scheint die Aktie niemand zu kennen. Wenn ich mir den spread anschaue teilweise 20cent heftig. Probiere heute mal nach zulegen. Oder hab ich eine Info verpasst????

Also ich bin begeistert von den Zahlen und werde wohl noch etwas aufstocken. Das läuft genauso wie ich es erwartet habe. Super Geschäftsmodell. Also in 3 Jahren hier zur Milliarden Umsatzgrenze. Der Gewinn steigt rasant mit. Echt starke Zahlen.

WELL Health Reports Record Revenue Results for Q4 and Full Year 2022 and Provides Strong Growth Outlook for 2023


WELL achieved record annual revenue of $569.1 million for 2022, an increase of 88% compared to the prior year. WELL achieved record quarterly revenues of $156.5 million in Q4-2022, an increase of 35% as compared to Q4-2021.
For the full year, WELL achieved record annual Adjusted EBITDA of $104.6 million, an increase of 73% as compared to 2021. WELL achieved Adjusted EBITDA(1)of $27.2 million in Q4-2022, an increase of 6% as compared to Q4-2021 which included more than $2 million of pandemic related government incentives.
WELL achieved a total of approximately 3.5 million omni-channel patient visits and 4.9 million patient interactions in 2022. Omni-channel patient visits grew 50% in 2022 compared to the prior year, and total patient interactions grew 86% over the same time period.
WELL is pleased to provide a healthy growth outlook for 2023 with guidance for annual revenue between $665 million and $685 million. The Company expects Annual Adjusted EBITDA to increase by more than 10% over 2022 levels as the Company invests in sustained profitable growth.

Ich finde den Versorgungsansatz interessant. Hab eine Studie vom Jahr 2017 der Bertelsmann Stiftung gelesen. Das Canada den Höchsten Staatshaushalt für Telemedizin hat,fand ich überraschend. Die sind damit schon extrem fortgeschritten. Die skandinavischen Länder sind da auch weit vorne. Den Schritt von well Health über den Teich nach Deutschland sehe ich positiv. Werde auch Stück für Stück hier aufstocken bis ich meine Zielgröße erreicht habe. 😀 das mit der Geduld von winston-Wolfe find ich gut 👍

Ich oute mich als Mitleser. Prinzipiell finde ich den Titel interessant - wenn ich ihn per Sparplan peu à peu ins Portfolio aufnehmen könnte, würde ich darüber intensiv nachdenken. Für den Moment bleibt es beim Beobachten.
