LAS BOLAS DRILL RESULTS

Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. has now received assay results from the last eight reverse circulation holes recently completed on its 100-per-cent-owned Las Bolas property. These holes, which are the last of the company's spring program, were spotted between 300 metres and 700 metres both east and west of the previous seven Las Bolas holes testing new areas, with the exception of BRC06-11. Holes BRC06-9a, b and c were collared approximately 300 metres to 450 metres east of BRC06-1, and were the first drill tests of a series of seven old shafts in the Mesa Seca area. BRC06-10a, b and c were collared approximately 700 metres west of BRC06-1 and were the first drill tests in the area of the old El Manto mine. These were, topographically and geologically, the lowest holes of any drilled to date at Las Bolas. Results were encouraging, with significant silver and/or gold intercepts in both areas. Hole BRC06-11 was a 175-metre step-out to the northeast from BRC06-1 on the Northwest vein structure and also returned significant silver values. Initial drill testing in the Las Bolas area now covers an area of 1,200 metres east-west by 600 metres north-south and this area will likely be increased with the next round of drilling.

The company is encouraged by the significant silver and gold values received to date, across the 1,200-metre by 600-metre area tested to date in the Las Bolas area. The first holes near the El Manto mine confirmed the company's belief that there is potential for both gold and silver mineralization at depth beneath the other old workings, such as the old Las Bolas and Gambusino mines. Significant potential has also been confirmed further east on the Mesa Seca plateau, where another 19 old shaft sites and workings have been identified.

Over all, the recent drilling has been successful at both extending known mineralization, as well as identifying new areas of mineralization. The Las Bolas and Nopalera areas have been recognized as two distinct precious metal systems with different geology, geochemistry and gold/silver ratios. Both are believed to be related to intrusive bodies at depth, and these are most likely different metalliferious intrusions. This also confirms the company's belief that the Uruachic mining camp has multiple, extensive, mineralized systems, with varying styles of mineralization over a wide area, which is a common theme in the largest precious metal camps throughout the world. It is management's opinion that more work is required on this very large and promising area. The combination of a large, gold-rich system at Nopalera, adjacent to a large, past-producing, silver system at Las Bolas, presents a very attractive, precious metal target for the company. Plans for follow-up work, including more drilling, are now under way.

NEW DRILL TARGETS TO BE TESTED AT URUACHIC

Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. has completed final preparations for the upcoming drilling at its 100-per-cent-owned Uruachic mining camp in northwestern Mexico. The program will consist of 25 short holes totalling approximately 1,500 metres of NQ diameter drilling. Using a smaller, more mobile rig that can access parts of the Uruachic camp previously inaccessible with bigger drill rigs, this program will test several new promising target areas. One of these targets, to be tested for the first time, is the old San Martin mine, which is on the San Timoteo property in the north-central part of the Uruachic camp, approximately five kilometres northeast of the Las Bolas mine. The old San Martin adit, which is the only one in the Uruachic camp known to have tracks, lies approximately 275 vertical metres below the adjacent ridge top. There is a very strong silver and gold-in-soil anomaly over 100 vertical metres above the old adit. The old records state that the average production grade from San Martin was 7.8 grams per tonne gold and 1,038 grams per tonne silver. The records state that the structure is 2.2 metres wide and 1,000 metres long.

Golden Goliath: die letzten Tage mit 2 Positionen zu 21 Eurocents wieder eingestiegen, verfolge ich den Kursverlauf seit mehr als 7 Monaten regelmässig.

Das erste Mal war ich mit einer kleinen GNG-Position zu 38 Eurocents im März dabei und stieg mit einem nicht nennenswerten Gewinn bei 43 Eurocents wieder aus, weil die Aktie für mich zum damaligen Zeitpunkt eher Stagnation als weiteren Anstieg signalisiert hat. Bevorzuge in diesem Thread weiterzuposten statt dem Ona-Vergleich.

Golden Goliath schlummert ( als möglicher Riese? ) vor sich hin. Immerhin wurde die Homepage benutzerfreundlich neu gestaltet und es gibt jetzt mehr Infos zu den verschiedenen Besitzungen als früher. Neben einem anderen gut laufenden Minenwert, der in Mexiko exploriert, ist GNG in meinem Depot jetzt der zweite, den ich wegen des noch allgemeinen Desinteresses als interessant für 2007 sehe. Glo

INITIAL DRILL RESULTS FROM SAN TIMOTEO
The Company is pleased to report that it has now received fire assay results from Chemex Laboratories
for the first five diamond drill holes completed on its 100% owned San Timoteo property located in the
Uruachic mining camp, Chihuahua Mexico. This program consists of short holes to conduct geochemical
tests in an area previously inaccessible to drill rigs. The purpose was to better understand the
mineralization and structure in order to more precisely delineate targets for deeper drilling.
The first four of these shallow holes (ST-D-06-2, 5, 6 & 7), were completed in a 100 metre wide area in
the vicinity of the old San Timoteo mine workings. The other hole for which assay results have been
received was collared approximately 300 metres northeast of the first group, about 250 vertical metres
above the old San Martin mine workings. The area of the first group of holes is underlain by silicified,
felsic volcanic rocks with disseminated pyrite and intrusive tourmaline breccia. Three of these four holes
returned significant silver and anomalous to highly anomalous gold values.
The hole above the San Martin mine workings (ST-D-06-8) was collared in a zone of epithermal breccia
that is exposed on surface for a width of about 25 metres, and is hosted in a silicified, dacite porphyry.
More exposures of this type of breccia occur about 125 metres to the north and are currently being
tested. This hole, which returned very encouraging results, exhibits intense argillic alteration with iron
oxides near surface and contains pyrite, galena, epidote and some quartz veining at deeper levels. A
summary of the significant results, including total hole depths and mineralized intervals is given in the
table below.
The Company is very encouraged with these results and plans to complete several more short holes on
the San Timoteo property and two more in the Reforma property during this phase of the program. Some
of these have already been completed and the samples have been sent to the lab. These drill holes will
be followed up with much deeper drill holes when a suitable drill rig becomes available.

Gestern kam im Laufe des Tages noch eine weitere Meldung von Golden Goliath raus: neben San Timoteo wird auch auf der Liegenschaft Las Bolas das Bohrprogramm fortgesetzt.

Obwohl der Gold- und Silberpreis aktuell bzw. U$ 630 bzw U$ 13 steht, notiert der GNG-Kurswert schwach. Die letzten Tage war generell wenig Nachfrage für Gold- und Silberaktien in USA und Canada.

Nach dem heutigen Thanksgiving-Feiertag und der morgigen Vorwochenendlaune sollte zumindest nächste Woche wieder mehr Stimmung am Investment-Market aufkommen. Glo

Weitere Ergebnisse der Bohrungen in San Timoteo

Das Unternehmen ist erfreut, bekanntgeben zu können, dass nun die Ergebnisse von weiteren 6 Kernbohrungen des laufenden Bohrprogramms in San Timoteo vorliegen. Dieses Bohrprogramm beinhaltet oberflächliche Bohrungen zur Durchführung von geochemikalischen Tests in einem Bereich, der zuvor für Bohrgeräte nicht zugänglich war. Der Zweck bestand darin, ein besseres Verständnis über die Mineralisation und die Struktur zu erhalten, um Ziele für tiefer reichende Bohrungen präzise festlegen zu können. Diese sechs Bohrungen wurden mehrere hundert Meter nördlich der alten San Timoteo Stollen und etwa 300 m vertikal oberhalb des Hauptstollens der alten San Martin Mine vorgenommen. Der Chihuahua Mining Monograph berichtet, dass der durchschnittliche Gehalt des Erzes aus der San Martin Mine 7,8 g/t Gold und 1038 g/t Silber betrug sowie dass die Ader 2,2 m breit und 1000 m lang war. Das Gebiet, in dem die Bohrungen vorgenommen wurden ist unterlegt mit silizifiertem Dacit porphyr Gestein, welches mehrere Zonen epithermaler Brekzien beherbergt. Die Brekzien zeigen Argillic-Alteration und enthalten schmale Quarzadern ebenso wie verbreitet Pyrit, Galenit und teilweise Sphalerit. Die Bohrungen 9 und 10, welche die Besten Resultate der laufenden Bohrungen ergaben, liegen etwa 190 m entfernt und wurden beide in Brekzienzonen niedergebracht.

Das Unternehmen ist mit diesen Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden, da die Brekzien-Zonen an der Oberfläche über der alten San Martin Mine indizieren, dass sie sich in die Tiefe fortsetzen und gute Gehalte an Gold- und Silbermineralisation enthalten. Mehrere alte Stollen liegen nördlich von San Martin und man nimmt an, dass diese ein Teil des gegenwärtig getesteten Systems sind. Die Bohrungen werden mit mindestens drei weiteren, kurzen Löchern in der Nähe der alten Stollen fortgesetzt. Danach wird das Bohrgerät etwa 2,5 km westlich verlegt, um die ersten Testbohrungen in einer ausgeprägten, geochemikalischen Gold- und Silberanomalie im nordöstlichen Teil der La Reforma Liegenschaft vorzunehmen. Diesen Bohrungen werden, sobald ein geeignetes Bohrgerät zur Verfügung steht, weitaus tiefer reichende Bohrungen folgen. Das Unternehmen steht mit allen in Mexiko tätigen Bohrunternehmen in Verbindung und erwartet, dass im ersten Quartal 2007 ein geeignetes Bohrgerät zur Verfügung stehen wird.

Update zu den Explorationsarbeiten



21. Dezember 2006. Das Unternehmen ist erfreut bekannt zu geben, dass nun weitere 4 Kernbohrungen in der San Timoteo Liegenschaft beendet sind, was die Gesamtzahl der Bohrungen auf 18 erhöht. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt sind in San Timoteo keine weiteren Bohrungen mit dem im Augenblick eingesetzten, kleinen Bohrgerät geplant. Diesen oberflächlichen Bohrungen werden weitaus tiefer gehende Bohrungen folgen, sobald ein geeignetes Bohrgerät zur Verfügung steht. Die Proben der letzten Bohrungen werden zur Analyse an das Chemex-Labor geschickt und wir erwarten die Ergebnisse der Analyse für Anfang Januar. Die Bohrungen werden über die Feiertage unterbrochen und Anfang des neuen Jahres mit dem selben Bohrgerät in der La Reforma Liegenschaft, 2 km nordwestlich von San Timoteo, wieder aufgenommen.



Über die letzten zwei Monate wurden die Explorationsarbeiten auch in der Las Bolas Liegenschaft fortgesetzt. Das Raster für die westliche Fortsetzung der IP-Untersuchungen, um das Gebiet von El Manto abzudecken, wurde fertig gestellt und wir erwarten dass die geophysikalische Mannschaft die IP-Untersuchungen Anfang Januar vornimmt. Unterirdische Wiederherstellungsarbeiten in drei unterschiedlichen Bereichen von Las Bolas wurden ebenfalls durchgeführt. Zwei vertikale Schächte, Arbolito und Tiro Mesa Seca, werden im Augenblick ausgebaggert. In Arbolito wurden bis dato etwa 55 m zugänglich gemacht und mind. 1 Stollen, welcher in Richtung des Mesa Seca Bereichs verläuft, wurde gefunden. Loses Gestein gestaltete die Ausbaggerungsarbeiten der Schächte schwierig. Der Mesa Seca Schacht wurde bis in eine Tiefe von 15 m freigelegt und die Crew ist momentan damit beschäftigt, den Schutt wegzuräumen sowie den Schacht mit Holzbalken zu sichern.



Wiederherstellungsarbeiten sind zudem in mehreren Sub-Leveln der ausgedehnten Las Bolas Stollen im Gange. Die Mannschaft erreichte vor kurzem einen neuen Bereich dieser alten Stollen, welcher ausgedehnte, mineralisierte Brekzien und Erzadern, die sehr viel versprechend aussehen, beherbergt. Die Geologen haben bislang nur vorläufige Proben entnommen, da die Sicherungsarbeiten noch im Gange sind. Ausgedehnte Untersuchungen, Kartierungen und detaillierte Entnahmen von Gesteinsproben in dieser aufregenden, neuen Zone werden Anfang Januar stattfinden.



Das Unternehmen war aktiv auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Bohrgerät, welches tiefreichende Bohrungen sowohl in Las Bolas, als auch in San Timoteo und La Reforma erlaubt. Geeignete Bohrgeräte sind in Mexiko momentan knapp und das Unternehmen steht bei jedem geeigneten Bohrunternehmen auf der Warteliste. Die Bohrungen werden so schnell wie möglich im neuen Jahr beginnen.

Golden Goliath's Uruachic samples 0.5 m of 1,350 g/t Ag

URUACHIC EXPLORATION UPDATE

Golden Goliath Resources Ltd.'s exploration activities are going well at its Uruachic mining camp in northwestern Mexico. In early December, the underground rehabilitation crew opened access to a previously unknown area of old workings, which lie just west of the Arbolito shaft. These irregular tunnels, raises and stopes occur about 50 metres below the surface and extend for a total length of about 60 metres. The exposure is a chaotic breccia zone with numerous irregular quartz veins and hosts both sulphide and oxide mineralization. Six preliminary samples were taken by geologist Daniel Serrano across exposed quartz veins ranging from 0.3 metre to 0.6 metre in width along a 10-metre section of the workings that was safe to enter. The entire new area was then made safe for a comprehensive sampling program over the Christmas break. In early January, the detailed sampling was completed and assays for the 137 samples taken are expected next week. Visible silver mineralization, including native silver, occurs in some of these workings. Yesterday, the company received the assays for the six preliminary samples taken in December and was very encouraged by the results, which are tabulated.

The company is now negotiating the final terms of a diamond drilling contract for the program that is slated to start next month. The newly opened high-grade workings will be one of the drill targets, which will also include deep drilling. The induced polarization geophysical survey extending from the Arbolito shaft west to the old El Manto mine, where excellent silver grades were intersected with preliminary reverse circulation drilling last spring, should be completed by Friday of this week.

The drilling of the two short holes with the mini-drill on the La Reforma property, just west of San Timoteo in the northern central part of the camp, has been stopped, due to the very hard nature of the intensely silicified rock. These targets will be tested as part of the upcoming diamond drill program, which will also follow up the good grade gold and silver intersected by the small drill above the old San Martin mine. The old San Martin adit, which is the only one in the Uruachic camp known to have tracks, lies just above the bottom of the arroyo, approximately 275 vertical metres below the recent drilling. The old records state that the average production grade from San Martin was 7.8 grams per tonne gold and 1,038 grams per tonne silver. The records state that the structure is 2.2 metres wide and 1,000 metres long. Assays for the last four short holes drilled near the San Timoteo workings returned only two intervals with values over 30 grams per tonne silver.

The company is very encouraged with the overall results to date, is well financed for the upcoming work and looks forward to an aggressive and successful year of exploration for 2007.

High Grade Assays Received From New Underground Zone

The Company is very pleased to announce that it has just received assay results for 127 chip samples taken early this month from newly opened underground workings on its 100% owned Las Bolas property, located in the centre of the Uruachic mining camp, Mexico. These irregular tunnels, raises and stopes occur about 50 metres below the surface. They extend for a total length of about 60 metres and cover a vertical interval of about 25 metres. The exposure is a chaotic breccia zone in fractured andesitic volcanic rocks, with propylitic and argillic alteration containing numerous irregular quartz veins and veinlets. The zone hosts both suphide and oxide mineralization, but sulphide mineralization is predominant. Company geologist Javier Araiza collected the 127 chip samples from all areas of the workings in order to obtain the most representative data possible without a bulk sample. Sample lengths varied from 0.8 to 4.0 metres and the sum total length of all 127 samples was 179.51 metres. Samples were analyzed by fire assay at the Chemex laboratory in Vancouver B.C.

Silver values ranged from a low of less than 5 gm/tonne (in three samples) to a high of 2,820 gm/tonne, with a total of 18 samples containing over 1,000 gm silver per tonne. Gold values ranged from less than .05 gm/tonne to a high of 4.95 gm/tonne. Individual assays included:

The overall weighted average of the 127 chip samples is 0.22 gm gold/tonne + 390.28 gm silver/tonne over 179.51 metres, or 0.006 oz gold/ton + 11.32 oz silver/ton over 588.94 feet
