Explosive Vervielfachungschance!

Die ruhigeren Ostertage haben wir genutzt, um noch einmal frühere von uns betrachtete Perlen, die wir aktuell nicht permanent verfolgt haben, auf mögliche Investmentchancen zu überprüfen. Leser unserer Faxausgaben aus dem vergangenen Jahr erinnern sich sicherlich noch gut an unsere Einschätzung zu Cloudbreak Resources. Genau vor einem Jahr Anfang April 2006, der Titel notierte damals auf einem Niveau um die 0,12 CAD, haben wir in unserem Monatbericht die Unternehmung, auf Basis von Informationen, die uns von unserem Kontaktnetzwerk in Kanada zugetragen wurden, erstmals als mögliche Perle erwähnt. Leider konnten wir uns dazumal nicht zu einer Depotaufnahme durchringen – leider, weil die Kurse kurze Zeit nach diesem Bericht innerhalb von nur einem Monat um knapp 200 Prozent auf 0.30 CAD gestiegen sind. Da uns aber die Nachhaltigkeit fehlte und aufgrund der unklaren Umstrukturierungssituation haben wir den Titel nicht direkt empfohlen und sogar von unserer Watchliste genommen, was sich auf längere Sicht auch nicht wirklich als falsch erwiesen hat, da der Titel später stark korrigierte und auf das Ausgangsniveau zurückfiel.

Nach unserem Research am vergangenen Osterwochenende und den Informationen, die wir am Ostermontag direkt von unseren Kontakten in Vancouver erhalten haben, kommen wir nun aber zum Schluss, dass Cloudbreak jetzt wiederum vor einer kurzfristigen Kursexplosion stehen könnte! Denn die aktuellen Nachrichten des Unternehmens, der neue Mann am Ruder und insbesondere das neu erworbene Goldprojekt „Dolly“ stimmen uns sehr zuversichtlich, dass wir hier kurzfristig (begleitet von permanentem Newsflow aufgrund der durchgeführten Explorationsarbeiten) einen schnellen Neubewertungssprung sehen werden, der die Aktie wiederum auf ein Niveau um die 0,30 CAD bringt. Im Gegensatz zum vergangenen Jahr sind wir diesmal davon überzeugt, dass damit allerdings erst der Grundstein für längerfristige Kurszuwächse gelegt wird, denn es hat sich innerhalb des Unternehmens im Vergleich zum Vorjahr doch einiges getan.

Dennoch möchten wir nicht verhehlen, dass es sich bei Cloudbreak um einen Titel handelt der in der maximalen Risikokategorie angesiedelt werden muss und wirklich nur von versierten Anlegern ins Depot genommen werden sollte.


Cloudbreak Resources Ltd.

Cloudbreak Resources ist ein kanadisches Bergbau- und Explorationsunternehmen, mit diversen Projekten in Amerika, sowie vor allem auch in Osteuropa und der Türkei.

Die Unternehmung zählt mit einer Marktkapitalisierung von aktuell unter 7,5 Mio. CAD (fully diluted) zu den absoluten Microexplorern. Doch gerade in der jüngsten Vergangenheit, verzeichneten die Aktienkurse dieser Kleinen immer wieder extreme Kurszuwächse und sorgten damit für grosse Freude unter den Anlegern.

Cloudbreak ist im Bereich der Kupfer und Gold Exploration angesiedelt. Insbesondere die Entwicklung der Kupferpreise hat in letzter Zeit Euphorie verbreitet und gäbe es einen Award für das Metall des Monats, wir hätten ihn dem Kupfer verliehen.


Spatenstich in Nevada

Wie nun die Unternehmung in einem Newsrelease mitteilt, haben die Arbeiten in Nevada im Dolly Varden South West Kupfer/Gold Gebiet begonnen. Das Unternehmen hält hier eine 51-prozentige Option auf 26 Claims. Die eben angefangenen Arbeiten sind der erste Teil einer gross angelegten Exploration, welche über einen Zeitraum von insgesamt 3 Jahren fixiert ist und gemäss den Budgetierungen an die 850´000 CAD kosten dürfte.

Die spezielle Geologie des Gebietes gibt hierbei Anlass zu einigem Optimismus. Die Vorarbeiten konnten sich dabei auf zahlreiche Erfahrungen und Resultate aus den benachbarten sehr erfolgreichen Projekten stützen. Die Vermutungen sind stark, dass die hoch mineralisierten Verwerfungen und Adern genau in das nun beschriebene Gebiet im Südwesten des Dolly Varden Projektes verlaufen.

Jedenfalls laufen die Vorbereitungen auf Hochtouren, damit die Bohrtürme bereit stehen, sobald die Bohrgenehmigungen eintreffen. Dies sollte in 4 bis 6 Wochen der Fall sein. Laut Unternehmensangaben wird dann sogleich mit Hochdruck die Exploration gestartet und mit weiterem Newsflow ist dann jederzeit zu rechnen.

Das Dolly Varden Project ist in der Nähe eines bereits aus den 60er sehr bekannten Abbaugebietes im Süden von Kennexott´s, den Victoria Minen gelegen, in welchen in der Vergangenheit bereits über 2 Millionen Tonnen an hochangereichertem Kupfer/Gold Gestein gefördert wurden.

Bei den aktuellen Vorarbeiten jedenfalls sind schon einige erfreuliche Tests durchgeführt worden, welche durch Cloudbreak’s Chefgeologen Marvin Mitchell mit der gleichen Systematik eines 43-101 Reports analysiert, revidiert und bestätigt wurden.


Osteuropas Erzgürtel

Es mutet zwar etwas bizarr an und nur Cracks kennen auch die Osteuropäischen Erzvorkommen genau. Wir reden hierbei aber von einem riesigen Gebiet, welches sich von den Alpen über Rumänien, Bulgarien und die Türkei letztlich bis zum Himalayagebirge erstreckt.





Die Aufgabe eines Microexplorers ist es oft, sich als Nischenplayer in diese, eher Abseits der Highways liegenden Gebiete zu wagen und mit oft erstaunlichen Resultaten wieder nach Hause zu kommen.

Cloudbreak besitzt gleich zwei solcher Projekte, welche nun Ende letzten Jahres mit positiven Nachrichten erstmalig aufhorchen liessen. Diese News liessen den auch den Kurs aus dem Tiefschlaf erwachen. Obwohl wir überzeugt sind, dass das wirkliche Potential von den Marktteilnehmern noch völlig unterschätzt wird, war der Kursanstieg von fast 40% sicher keine Eintagsfliege.


Rumänien

Das 65 Quadratkilometer grosse Muntele Rotund Gebiet befindet sich im westlichen Teil Rumäniens, 40 km westlich der erstklassigen Rosia Montana Goldlagerstätte im westlichen Teil des Tethyan Gürtels. Das Lizenzgebiet beinhaltet vulkanisches Gestein, das für seine hohen Gold- Silber Mineralisierungen bekannt ist.

Cloudbreak konnte in diesem Gebiet auf eine umfangreiche Datensammlung zurückgreifen, welche die vormalig staatliche „Prospectiuni si Laboratoare“ in den 60er Jahren anlegte. Mit dem weggefegten Ceauºescu - Regime und der Privatisierungswelle, wurden auch aufgrund unklarer Besitzverhältnisse, viele Projekte jedoch wieder auf Eis gelegt. Dies hat sich nun aber, nicht zuletzt mit dem veränderten Verhältnis Rumäniens zur Europäischen Union, drastisch verändert und Unternehmen wie Cloudbreak können auf mannigfaltige Arbeiten wie detaillierte Kartographien zurückgreifen.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass sogar bereits bestehende Explorationsstollen wieder ohne grossen Aufwand reaktiviert werden konnten.

Alle gewonnenen Proben decken sich in einem ersten Test genau mit den Ergebnissen der 60er Jahren, sodass auf die nun durch die ALS Chemex durchgeführten Test und vor allem deren Bericht mit unverhohlener Freude gewartet werden darf.





Türkei

Weiterhin entwickelt Cloudbreak ihre Projekte um das Ikiztepe Sarp Gebietes im Nordwesten der Türkei rasant fort. Das gesamte Gebiet ist für seine beträchtliche Kupfermineralisierung bekannt.

Das Bohrprogramm der ersten Phase im East Camp Skarnererzielgebiet wurde mit 9 Bohrlöchern über insgesamt fast 750 Metern abgeschlossen. Das RC Bohrprogramm (umgekehrtes Spühlbohrverfahren) sollte zudem die Ausdehnung in die Tiefe austesten. Auch in diesem Gebiet verfügt Cloudbreak zudem über umfangreiches Material und Karten, welche die staatliche türkische Minengesellschaft in den 70er Jahren (Turk Maadin) anlegte.

Sämtliche Bohrproben befinden sich aktuell bei der ALS Chemex in Northvancouver. Die Untersuchungen erfolgen durch ein 30g-Fire-Assay-Verfahren mit AA-Finish für Gold und 34 Elementen durch Königswasseraufschluss sowie ICPES für Silber, Kupfer und andere Grundmetalle. ALS Chemex ist nach ISO 9001:2000 in Nordamerika zertifiziert.

Alle von Turk Maadin gebohrten Löcher durchschnitten in den 70er Jahren Kupfermineralisierungen. Auf der Grundlage der damaligen Daten schätzte das schwedische Unternehmen Granges Intl. Mining die Ressourcen im East Camp und die Sogukpinar Skarnerzzone auf über 2.2 Millionen Tonnen Erzgestein mit einem Anreicherungsgrad von 1.17% und einen Molybdängehalt von 0.07%. Hinweis: Dieser historische Bericht erfüllt nicht die NI 43-101 Normen.

Trotzdem haben die letzten Ergebnisse die vermuteten Reserven grundsätzlich bestätigt. Aber nicht nur dies! Die letzten fünf Bohrlöcher erweitern die bekannten Mineralisierungen weiter in der Nord Süd Zone um bis zu 250m, wobei sich der Bereich von der Oberfläche bis auf eine bekannte Tiefe von 120 Metern erstreckt.

Die neusten Ergebnisse haben die Grösse und die Kontinuität des Systems somit bestätigt und nach Unternehmensangaben bleiben die möglichen Mineralisierungen aber weiterhin in die Tiefe und in der Breite offen.

Cloudbreak verdient über die Vereinbarung mit Valhalla Resourves Ltd. 65% Interest an dem Gebiet. Die Grundstücke befinden sich aktuell im Besitz einer türkischen Tochtergesellschaft, der Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX:ANO).

Das Projekt erachten wir als hochattraktiv, weisen aber darauf hin, dass es zugleich aber auch eines der grössten Risikofaktoren darstellt. Im Rahmen des Agreements nämlich zahlt in diesem Projekt Cloudbreak an die 1,2 Mio. US Dollar an Fees, muss innerhalb von 5 Jahren 5 Mio. USD an Arbeiten aufwenden und hat dazu noch 1.2 Mio. Cloudbreak Stammaktien ausgegeben.

Auf jeden Fall. Das erleichtert meiner Ansicht nach unheimlich die Arbeiten und lässt diese auch schneller vorran gehen!

The Sarp property forms part of the Tethyan mineralization belt, which extends from the Alps and the Carpathians across Romania and Bulgaria into Turkey, Iran, the Himalayas, and beyond.

The Tethyan belt hosts world-class resources such as Rosia Montana in Romania (352 Mt @ 1.3 g/t Au, 6 g/t Ag), Bor (150 Mt @ 1.26% Cu, 1.07 g/t Au) and Majdanpek (514 Mt @ 1.09 % Cu, 53 Mt @ 3 g/t Au) in Serbia, Chelopech in Bulgaria (208 Mt @ 2.25 g/t Au, 0.84% Cu), Kisladag in Turkey (235 Mt @ 1.04 g/t Au), and the Sar Cheshmeh porphyry Copper deposit in Iran (1.2 Bt @ 0.8% Cu, 0.3 g/t Au).

The Sarp Property is located in the European part of Turkey, near the border to Bulgaria. It lies in an established regional mineralization zone and consists of 14 aggregate licenses covering a total area of 285 km2, all 100 % owned by Anatolia Minerals Development. These licenses do not form a coherent block, but have few other license owners in between, mostly Turkish private individuals and small companies. The following map shows the license situation at Sarp (colored are Anatolia's positions):

The Sarp prospect forms part of the North Tethyan Late Cretaceous mineralization belt, formed during 85-65 Ma (million years). Along this belt, from SW Romania through Bulgaria to N Turkey and the southern Caucasus, there are clusters of mineralisation, represented by the principal mineral deposits as shown in the satellite view above. Beyond these principal deposits, clusters contain abundant low-grade mineralization - porphyry copper with grades typically in the range of 0.2-0.4 % Cu) and occasionally high-grade gold occurrences. In similar mineralization belts (e.g., Andes), such clusters form in almost regular distances, and Sarp lies on a place where a cluster would be expected in the Bor/Majdanpek-Chelopech North Tethyan trend.

Sarp contains two known centers of copper-molybdenum mineralization, formed by the Dereköy porphyry (221 Mt @ 0.24 % Cu) and the Ikiztepe skarn and porphyry copper. The Dereköy porphyry in the east of the prospect area has been drilled by Turkish State Exploration (MTA). A respective report is available.

Within an area of ca. 1 km2, Ikiztepe (SE-Sarp) contains three known centers of mineralization, porphyry copper-skarn at Ikiztepe Hill and skarn at Sogukpinar. True thickness of the skarn mineralization is ca. 10-20 m. Sogukpinar and the unnamed mineralization in the southwest might form a more or less coherent zone at a strike-length of ca. 1100 m (judged by the distribution of old workings), with typical grades of 0.8-1.5 % Cu, 0.05-0.1 % Mo. All three centers have numerous ancient pits on them, accompanied by significant amounts of slag from ancient smelting. A Turkish mining company (Türkmaden) constructed underground galleries and extracted some ore in the 1960s and 70s. A Swedish company (Grangs Intl. Mining, 1978) assessed the resource at Sogukpinar and the unnamed mineralization in the southwest (total strike length ca. 1100 m) with 2.2 Mt @ 1.17 % Cu, 0.07 % Mo, corresponding to a resource of 25 740 t Cu (US$ 82.4M), 1540 t Mo (US$ 114M). This likely shows the order of magnitude but a proper assessment must take the extent of previous mining into consideration. On the other hand, further drilling is likely to add new resources. Provided that the resource is economically minable, it will need resource definition drilling and a feasibility study. More data have been ordered from Anatolia to assess the previous work done (underground extraction, resource calculation, geophysical surveys).

Gold mineralization appears to be ubiquitous throughout the Sarp prospect area, but there is apparently no or little previous gold exploration, because Sarp was considered and explored as a copper mining zone. A stream sediment survey carried out by Anatolian Minerals yielded highly encouraging results. 28 stream sediment samples were collected in the area north of Ikiztepe (SE Sarp), draining an area of ca. 10 x 3 km (licenses oir10987 and AR92189). 22 of these samples grade 0.1-2.89 g/t Au, pointing to widely dispersed gold sources, none of which has been found yet. Similar results, with over 50 % of stream sediment samples in the range of 0.1->0.5 g/t were obtained from most other license areas in the Sarp prospect, indicating ample gold mineralization. The hard rock source of gold was identified in two cases: 3.5 km ENE of Dereköy village (E Sarp), a high-grade quartz-pyrite vein was sampled and assayed to 32.7 g/t Au. This sample lies apparently few tens of meters outside the license area but indicates the potential for such rocks in zones with stream sediment-anomalous gold. A road cut outcrop was chip-line sampled in the central part of the Sarp prospect, 200 m SW of Karanlikköy village, yielding an average grade of 3.37 g/t Au over 23.2 m, including a high-grade portion 1.6 m @ 24.24 g/t Au. A trench and drillhole through that zone will likely yield very encouraging results.



In summary, the Sarp prospect has all characteristics of a significant mineralization cluster in the North Tethyan Late Cretaceous gold-copper belt. Numerous copper and gold occurrences indicate ample distribution of mineralization, including porphyry copper. Gold mineralization appears to be composed of both high-grade zones and wider disseminated zones with grades amenable to open pit mining. Regarding the overall stream sediment results for gold and copper, the gold potential is more obvious on the prospect scale, but has hitherto not been explored. The very encouraging hard rock results can be considered only a beginning, and further gold zones are very likely to be found. The large Chelopech deposit is almost entirely blind and was discovered only on follow-up of small mineralization at outcrop. It lies under +200 m of overburden, but had this overburden been stripped (feasible for deposits of that size), it would be Europe's largest gold-copper mining operation. Now, only its high-grade parts are mined underground and the reserve is much smaller than the resource given above. The Sarp prospect may host a deposit the size of Chelopech, and if so, it is likely to have just minor surface expressions at outcrop. Large areas at Sarp have no or little outcrop and can be targeted only with soil sampling. The single road-cut result (23.3 m @ 3.37 g/t Au) shows the potential at virtually any region with anomalous stream gold at Sarp.

A preliminary exploration plan should implement further sampling leading to soon trenching and drilling at places with identified hard rock gold mineralization. Other stream-anomalous areas should be systematically covered with a reconnaissance study including a 400 x 400 m soil grid and grab sampling of any rocks that appear mineralized (while walking the 400 x 400 m grid).

The 65 km sq Muntele Rotund Exploration License (6542/2005) issued on the 28 th of October 2005 is easily accessible along the major creeks where small villages and groups of houses are lined up. The license area, as depicted in the image above, follows the course of the creeks Luncsoara and Halmag, both tapping areas of previous mining. Topography has both difficult and non difficult areas; most parts of the license area are within reach of dirt roads. The villages readily provide a work force at low cost for all exploration activities such as sampling, trenching, and drilling.

The license area contains magmatic rocks of likely Neogene age, intruding primarily sandstones and shales of Upper Cretaceous age. The magmatic rocks consist largely of sub-volcanic dioritic intrusives and andesites, typical of arc-volcanic environments where epithermal gold-silver mineralization can be expected. Around the intrusives appear halos of pyrite impregnation, indicating ample sulphide mineralization potential. 40 km east of the Muntele Rotund license lays the world class Rosia Montana gold-silver deposit.

Epithermal mineralization is known in and around the dioritic intrusives in the license area. Lead-zinc mineralization was the target of mining during ca. 1970-1990 and is exposed at gallery entries. A sample at outcrop yielded 1.34% Pb, 1.36 % Zn, 44 g/t Ag, 0.3 g/t Au, and a high-grade ore sample from float in front of a gallery yielded 18.3 % Pb, 12.6 % Zn, 182 g/t Ag, 1.14 g/t Zn, and 0.52 % Cu. Beyond the base metal zones, this mineralization environment suggests presence of precious metal, in the form of disseminated low-grade zones or high-grade veins, or both. Pb-Zn veins are also associated with the near, very large Rosia Montana gold-silver deposit.



Past exploration in the Muntele Rotund region during the communist era, was mainly directed to base metals, largely ignoring gold & silver. In this respect, the recommendation of a communist era miner picked up during sampling in the region, may be of significance. While mining lead-zinc-silver ore underground, a thick quartz vein appeared as a (late-stage?) mineralization feature in the base metal ore. Assaying yielded a value of 80 g/t Au, whereupon panic spread among the miners because the possession of gold was strictly forbidden and harshly punished in the communist era. As a result no one wanted to have anything to do with the find and the respective gallery was collapsed.

While such stories are often exaggerated and should not form the basis for exploration, the presence of late-stage high-grade gold veins can be expected in the present mineralization environment, lending credibility to the recommendation. Further, the Muntele Rotund area lies at the north end of the SSE-NNW trend of gold deposits from Sacarimb to Brad, where high-grade quartz-gold vein systems are mined.

Indications are that a present vein system is Blind, i.e., it has no outcrop at surface and as such would not be found with the classical exploration approach of rock and soil sampling. However, potentially forming a late-stage feature of the epithermal Pb-Zn+/ Ag-Au mineralization, quartz-gold veins may occur in the area of previous base metal mining, representing a guide to exploration for precious metals. Given the relatively poor outcrop situation, such veins or bodies with disseminated gold-mineralization may be hidden under the fields, meadows, and forests. A first-pass exploration program should therefore cover the zones of previous mining with soil sampling, perhaps on a 200 x 200 m grid, and historic investigations among old miners may reveal the site of the collapsed gallery where a high-grade gold vein was allegedly left in place. Such a target would require immediate drilling, perhaps with a few low-cost, angled reverse circulation holes, principally to test the presence of mineralization.

Cloudbreak Commences Work On Project Adjacent To Consolidated Gold Win's Dolly Varden Property

Vancouver, BC -- Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (CDB-TSX.V; C6K-FSE) ("Cloudbreak" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced the first year's exploration work at the Dolly Varden South West copper/gold property southeast of Elko, Nevada. The work being done is part of a greater exploration program budgeted at C$850,000 over the next three years.

The Dolly Varden South West property is comprised of 26 optioned claims where the Company completed grid development in mid March. Cloudbreak recently commenced ground magnetometer surveying and a 3-D Induced Polarization ("IP") geophysical survey, an exploration process which were successful in delineating drill targets on the adjacent Dolly Varden property.

Drilling of the 3D IP anomaly to the east has intersected several bands of north-south trending mineralization. The geology logged at Cloudbreak's property is consistent with that on the Dolly Varden property. The showing on the Company's property has a north-south strike noted in preliminary work completed. Further showings were logged by Company president Blair Naughty and Cloudbreak's Nevada geological staff during a property visit in early March, 2007.

Mr. Naughty noted "The zones of mineralization extend across the small road in the valley in a similar direction to the adjacent property's zone for at least 500 feet. The proposed drill site for testing the down dip extension of this zone has been agreed to by management following consultation by Company geologists. Permitting for the planned drill testing is underway."

Pending the approval of drill permits, the diamond drill rig currently on site at the Dolly Varden project is anticipated to be mobilized to Cloudbreak's Dolly Varden SW property in the next 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile, drilling on the adjacent properties continues at an aggressive rate.

The Dolly Varden Property is a copper gold skarn property located just south of Kennecott's past-producing Victoria Mine. The Victoria Mine produced well over 2 million tons of high grade copper ore in the 1960's.

Consolidated Goldwin has met with considerable success having drill-tested a 3000+ foot long 3D IP anomaly to the east with favorable results. Preliminary results from exploration on Cloudbreak's claims are consistent with that on Gold Win's property.

Wie nun die Unternehmung in einem Newsrelease mitteilt, haben die Arbeiten in Nevada im Dolly Varden South West Kupfer/Gold Gebiet begonnen. Das Unternehmen hält hier eine 51-prozentige Option auf 26 Claims. Die eben angefangenen Arbeiten sind der erste Teil einer gross angelegten Exploration, welche über einen Zeitraum von insgesamt 3 Jahren fixiert ist und gemäss den Budgetierungen an die 850´000 CAD kosten dürfte.

Die spezielle Geologie des Gebietes gibt hierbei Anlass zu einigem Optimismus. Die Vorarbeiten konnten sich dabei auf zahlreiche Erfahrungen und Resultate aus den benachbarten sehr erfolgreichen Projekten stützen. Die Vermutungen sind stark, dass die hoch mineralisierten Verwerfungen und Adern genau in das nun beschriebene Gebiet im Südwesten des Dolly Varden Projektes verlaufen.

Jedenfalls laufen die Vorbereitungen auf Hochtouren, damit die Bohrtürme bereit stehen, sobald die Bohrgenehmigungen eintreffen. Dies sollte in 4 bis 6 Wochen der Fall sein. Laut Unternehmensangaben wird dann sogleich mit Hochdruck die Exploration gestartet und mit weiterem Newsflow ist dann jederzeit zu rechnen.

Geophysical Survey

The first phase geophysical survey completed on the Martin Hill prospect consisted of ground magnetic and induced polarization ("IP") surveys outlined to identify drill targets. Cloudbreak geological staff's interpretation of the geophysical survey data has provided the Company with a good understanding of the geology at the Martin Hill prospect, increasing the project's potential for discovery of valuable mineral deposits.

The ground magnetic survey was completed using a 25X25 m array, covering approximately 2 km2. The surveyed area was detailed with a grid of 10x10 m covering 0.4 km2, being focused on the rediscovered old exploration pits and gallery.

A one line-kilometer pole-dipole IP survey with 10 meter measure points was completed. This line crosses the middle part the ground magnetic surveyed area, being orientated NNE to SSE. Readings were taken at N equals 1 to 11 separations allowing an effective depth penetration of approximately 180 metres. The measurements were pre-processed into pseudo-sections which were inverted to reach a more accurate model.

The magnetic survey outlines a number of high values of the total magnetic field (up to 51, 000 nT) being correlated with the mapped magnetite-skarn and intrusive rocks. In places, the high value of the total magnetic field has a direct correlation with maximum of chargeability and low resistivity, being interpreted as potentially mineralized areas.

Martin Hill Prospect Geology and Mineralization

The Martin Hill prospect is approximately 7 km2 and is located in the central part of the license area. The geology consists of magmatic rocks of likely Neogene age, intruding primarily limestone, sandstones and shales of Upper Cretaceous age. Along the contact much of this has been converted to magnetite-garnet skarn and chloritic hornfels bodies.

According to historical surveys, a Hematite - Chalcopyrite mineralization has been located in the skarn body. This mineralization has been emphasized and detailed in recent rock surveys. Mineralized skarns collected from the float, are oxidized and indicate a gossan zone in the area. A new geophysical program (ground magnetic survey and IP pole-dipole lines) is scheduled to provide further data, to outlining new drill targets and increasing the potential for discovery of economic mineral deposits.

Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CDB)(FRANKFURT:C6K) ("Cloudbreak" or the "Company") is pleased to report on the status of the company's projects in Turkey, Romania and Nevada.

The evaluation of the 2006 field season results on its Ikiztepe-Sarp copper/molybdenum/gold property in the Tethyan Belt of Northwest Turkey has outlined four top priority targets warranting further testing. The Company has planned an extensive 2007 exploration program, including 6,500 metres of drill testing at the project.

Ikiztepe Hill comprises several Cu-Mo-Au mineralized skarn and porphyry style occurrences (including East Camp and Sogukpinar drilled and reported in 2006). Historically, the state mining company Turk Maadin carried out a 56 hole exploration program in the Ikiztepe Hill area in the 1970s. In 1978 the Swedish company Granges International Mining calculated a resource based on the work carried out by Turk Maaden of 2.2Mt @ 1.17% Cu and 0.07% Mo in the skarn and 13.5Mt at 0.52% Cu and 0.05% Mo of disseminated porphyry style mineralization. A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources, and the issuer is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources and the historical estimate should not be relied upon. Historical resources merely provide a target for further exploration.

A total of 6500 metres of drilling is planned to begin in the coming weeks. President Blair Naughty states, "After last year's successes on the property with a limited budget, we look forward to doing a large scale drill program and defining defining a resource to current standards (CIM Guidelines) in 2007. The company has budgeted C$1.65 million to be spent in Turkey this year."

- The final stage of its geophysical program (including ground magnetic survey and IP pole-dipole lines) on the Martin Hill prospect is scheduled to take place in April-May of 2007 to further identify drill targets.

- A first-stage, 600 meter diamond drill program is planned to follow the April-May geophysical program.

Company president, Blair Naughty, commented, "The initial exploration success in Romania is the first step in the Company's efforts to outline a significant gold/copper deposit. With the world-class Rosia Montana gold/silver deposit (15.8 million oz Au; 67.9 million oz Ag) located nearby, Cloudbreak's preliminary findings have left management eager to drill. The planned drill programs will give us a clearer understanding of sub-surface mineralization at this highly prospective project."

Geophysical Survey

The first phase geophysical survey completed on the Martin Hill prospect consisted of ground magnetic and induced polarization ("IP") surveys outlined to identify drill targets. Cloudbreak geological staff's interpretation of the geophysical survey data has provided the Company with a good understanding of the geology at the Martin Hill prospect, increasing the project's potential for discovery of valuable mineral deposits.

The ground magnetic survey was completed using a 25x25 m array, covering approximately 2 km2. The surveyed area was detailed with a grid of 10x10 m covering 0.4 km2, being focused on the rediscovered old exploration pits and gallery.

A one line-kilometer pole-dipole IP survey with 10 meter measure points was completed. This line crosses the middle part the ground magnetic surveyed area, being orientated NNE to SSE. Readings were taken at N equals 1 to 11 separations allowing an effective depth penetration of approximately 180 metres. The measurements were pre-processed into pseudo-sections which were inverted to reach a more accurate model.

The magnetic survey outlines a number of high values of the total magnetic field (up to 51,000 nT) being correlated with the mapped magnetite-skarn and intrusive rocks. In places, the high value of the total magnetic field has a direct correlation with maximum of chargeability and low resistivity, being interpreted as potentially mineralized areas.

Martin Hill Prospect Geology and Mineralization

The Martin Hill prospect is approximately 7 km2 and is located in the central part of the license area. The geology consists of magmatic rocks of likely Neogene age, intruding primarily limestone, sandstones and shales of Upper Cretaceous age. Along the contact much of this has been converted to magnetite-garnet skarn and chloritic hornfels bodies.

According to historical surveys, a Hematite - Chalcopyrite mineralization has been located in the skarn body. This mineralization has been emphasized and detailed in recent rock surveys. Mineralized skarns collected from the float, are oxidized and indicate a gossan zone in the area. A new geophysical program (ground magnetic survey and IP pole-dipole lines) is scheduled to provide further data, to outlining new drill targets and increasing the potential for discovery of economic mineral deposits.

In Nevada, Cloudbreak Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has commenced the first year's exploration work at the Dolly Varden South West copper/gold property southeast of Elko, Nevada. The work being done is part of a greater exploration program budgeted at C$850,000 over the next three years.

The Dolly Varden South West property is comprised of 26 optioned claims where the Company completed grid development in mid March. Cloudbreak recently commenced ground magnetometer surveying and a 3D Induced Polarization ("IP") geophysical survey, an exploration process which was successful in delineating drill targets on the adjacent Dolly Varden property.

Drilling of the 3D IP anomaly to the east has intersected several bands of north-south trending mineralization. The geology logged at Cloudbreak's property is consistent with that on the Dolly Varden property. The showing on the Company's property has a north-south strike noted in preliminary work completed. Further showings were logged by Company president Blair Naughty and Cloudbreak's Nevada geological staff during a property visit in early March 2007.

Mr. Naughty noted, "The zones of mineralization extend across the small road in the valley in a similar direction to the adjacent property's zone for at least 500 feet. The proposed drill site for testing the down dip extension of this zone has been agreed to by management following consultation by Company geologists. Permitting for the planned drill testing is underway."

A diamond drill rig on site at the Dolly Varden project will be mobilized and moved to Cloudbreak's property in the next 3-5 weeks to test the anomalies. Meanwhile, drilling on the adjacent properties continues at an aggressive rate.

The Dolly Varden Property is a copper gold skarn property located just south of Kennecott's past-producing Victoria Mine. The Victoria Mine produced well over 2 million tons of high grade copper ore in the 1960s.

Consolidated Gold Win has met with considerable success having drill-tested a 3000+ foot long 3D IP anomaly to the east with favorable results. Preliminary results from exploration on Cloudbreak's claims are consistent with that on Gold Win's property.

The company is taking a group of brokers, analysts and geologists to visit the Dolly Varden East claims this coming weekend (April 19-23) and will have videos and pictures of the trip on the website shortly thereafter.
