Dazu kommen nach russischen Schätzungen 3.960 t Cobalt, 189.400 Unzen Platin und 213.800 Unzen Palladium.

Ergibt einen Wert von 13,75 Mio GBP.

Eine SRK-Studie von 2007, die deutlich weniger Nickel und niedrigere Preise einpreist, besagt:
In this case, SRK has valued Kun-Manie using a Nickel equivalent in the ground approach using
SRK’s’ Mineral Resource estimate as the basis of this. In using this approach SRK has also confirmed
that the resource grade is potentially sufficient to support an economic mining operation. Given this,
SRK has valued the Measured Mineral Resource at between 3.5 and 4.0% of the value of the contained
metal, the Indicated Mineral Resource at between 2.5 and 3.5% of the value of the contained metal and
the Inferred Mineral Resource at between 2 and 2.5% of the value of the contained metal, all assuming
medium term prices of US$5.80/lb for nickel, US$1.40/lb for copper, US$500/oz for platinum and
US$250/oz for palladium. SRK’s valuation of Kun-Manie on this basis is between US$90 Million and
US$110 Million.

Warum ist Amur nur mit knapp 14 Mio. GBP bewertet?

Im Januar 2010 hat man eine Mining Licence beantragt, deren Bearbeitung bis zu 12 Monate dauern kann.
Nach russischem Recht können Lizenzen an ausländische Unternehmen jedoch verweigert werden, wenn es sich um strategische Resourcen handelt.
Da Kun-Manie gross ist, kann es in diese Kategorie eingestuft werden.

Da vor kurzem wurde zumindest die Explorationserlaubnis bis Ende 2012 verlängert wurde, lautet die Wette also auf eine Neubewertung nachdem Amur die Mining Licence bekommt.

Ich sehe folgende Möglichkeiten:

Möglichkeit A:

Amur bekommt die Lizenz ohne Auflagen.
SRKs NPV von 100 Mio würden einen Kurs von 0,25 GBP bedeuten.
Wenn man die höheren Nickel- und Kupferpreise einrechnet, dann im Idealfall 0,5 GBP?

Möglichkeit B:

Amur bekommt lediglich 10% von Kun-Manie und der Rest geht an einen russische JV-Partner.
"Vorteil"... man wäre die Finanzierung wohl los.
Bei Produktion ein Zielkurs von 0,3 GBP?

Möglichkeit C:

Wird Kun-Manie als strategisch eingeschätzt und bekommt Amur keine Lizenz, dann ist der russische Staat zu einer Entschädigung von 140% der bisherigen Explorationskosten verpflichtet.
Von daher sollte es auch einen Boden bei 0,045 GBP geben.

Unter Umständen wäre ein asset swap eine vierte Möglichkeit.
Inwiefern sich da schon etwas geändert hat, kann ich derzeit noch nicht sagen.

Update On Kun-Manie Mining Licence Application



Significant Progress Made



Amur Minerals Corporation ("Amur" or the "Company"), an exploration and development company focused on Far East Russia, announces that it has received an update from Rosnedra related to its application for a mining licence on its Kun-Manie nickel - copper exploration licence. The review and approval process undertaken on the Russian Federation level for the mining licence was initiated in January 2010. Subsequent to the initial review of Rosnedra, the Russian State regulator, the application was forwarded to the four Russian Federation agencies responsible for review and approval. Three of the four external agencies included in the licence approval process have approved the application and the Company anticipates that the fourth agency, the Ministry of Economic Development, will provide its affirmative input and approval in due course.



Summary of position:



· Rosnedra completed its initial review of the mining application and forwarded the documentation to the four Russian agencies that participate in the approval of the mining application.



· Both the Ministry of Defence and Federal Security Service have approved the application.



· A resolution from the Federal Anti-monopoly Services has been completed and provided to Rosnedra regarding approval of the licence.



· Rosnedra is currently awaiting input and information from the Ministry of Economic Development which is responsible for establishing the projected average market price of nickel-copper concentrate to be used in setting the expected payments and fees related to the mining licence.



Following the Ministry of Economic Development's input, Rosnedra will then draft the mining licence and its terms in accordance with the regulations of the Russian Federation.
