Aura Energy Considers International Listings For Haggan Project

LONDON (Alliance News) - Aura Energy Ltd said on Wednesday it is planning to list its Haggan vanadium and polymetals project on "multiple" international exchanges.
Aura previously said it was reviewing options for the project given the large aggregate content of battery metals at the project, which includes vanadium, molybdenum, cobalt, neodymium, nickel, and zinc.
Metal price rises have "significantly" altered the value of the Haggan deposit, leading to a reassessment of the project by Aura.
Executive Chairman Peter Reeve said: "Aura has always considered Haggan to be the company's most valuable long-term asset and the significant recent price rise in battery metals has transformed Haggan's current value proposition."
"Haggan now has potential to be one of the world's largest sources of battery metals and the company believes a separate listing in this environment has the potential to generate substantial value for shareholders," Reeve said.
"Listing Haggan separately with a focussed Swedish management team and the resources to independently finance and propel the project with the new impetus of the growth in battery metals is a very appealing strategy to drive development of this substantial multi-commodity project," he added.
Aura said Haggan is already held in a separate Swedish entity and as such a separate listing would not experience too many hurdles.
Aura shares were up 4.5% Wednesday at a price of 1.57 pence per share.
