Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, President, Yasuhiko Saitoh) will double the production capacity of Shin-Etsu Magnetic Materials Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SMMV), its Group company located in Vietnam’s Hai Phong Province that manufactures rare earth magnets.
At present, SMMV’s rare earth magnet production capacity is 1,100 tons/year. As a result of the implementation of this production expansion, it will double its production capacity to 2,200 tons/year, In addition, at the same time, SMMV will achieve an integrated manufacturing system from rare earth raw materials’ separation and refinement to the pressing method and sintering process. The investment amount for this expansion project is expected to be 5 billion, and the completion of the construction is scheduled for the middle of 2018.

Wenn ich mir die folgenden Infos zu Shin-Etsu durchsehe, könnte ich mir vorstellen, Shin-Etsu wird in den nächsten Jahren eine erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit erhalten, nachdem neben etablierteren Produkten aus dem Bereich "Infrastructure Materials", zusätzlich die Electronics Materials (Rare earth magnets), sowie Functional Materials (SiO - Anode Material of Lithium Ion Batteries) bekannter und gefragter werden, sofern die Abhängigkeit zu China wirklich reduziert werden soll... 🤔 https://www.shinetsu.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Annual…

Nach den erneuten Nachrichten aus China zu REEs https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/china-bans-expor… jetzt den Export von Technologien zur Herstellung von "rare earth magnets" zu verbieten, suchte ich nochmals nach Infos dazu und las in einer News vom 6. April 2023 folgendes:

Beijing's acquisition of advanced Japanese magnet manufacturing equipment enabled Chinese manufacturers to rapidly increase their technological capabilities.
TOKYO – Japanese government measures to prevent the outflow of manufacturing technology related to high-performance, rare-earth magnets appear to have failed.
China, whose firms developed technology and equipment acquired from Japan, now dominates the market for advanced magnets, a highly important sector in which Japanese companies used to have a competitive edge.
The Japanese government implemented export controls on goods and technologies that can be converted to military use under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law: comprising so-called “list controls” and “catch-all controls.” List controls target goods that have a high risk of being converted into weapons of mass destruction, and catch-all controls involve broader restrictions on items not covered under list controls.
According to a Japanese company source, when China imposed restrictions on rare earth exports to Japan around 2010, several Chinese government officials told Japanese firms that they would supply rare earth materials in exchange for rare earth-related technology.

Nach deutl.Kursrückgang jetzt eingestiegen.
Die japanischen Industrieaktien sind im Gegensatz zu USA bedeutend günstiger und sind
wie z.B. in Europa nicht besonders von der Energiekrise betroffen.Bilanzen TOp,daneben noch
eine Nippon Sanjo(Industriegase)und Hitachi LDT.
Kawasaki HEAVI (Gasturbinen,Motoräder,LNG Schiffe,Hubschrauber) ebenso ein Topwert.
USA bleibt absolut immer noch überbewertet.
Die japanischen Industrieaktien sind im Gegensatz zu USA bedeutend günstiger und sind
wie z.B. in Europa nicht besonders von der Energiekrise betroffen.Bilanzen TOp,daneben noch
eine Nippon Sanjo(Industriegase)und Hitachi LDT.

Ich hab mir letztens auch mal 5 Aktien zu je 140 Euro ins Depot gelegt, als echte Watchlist sozusagen. Ich überlege ebenfalls, meine BASF Aktien zu verkaufen um mit dem Geld Shin Etsu und FMC Corp zu kaufen. Sowohl Shin Etsu als auch FMC scheinen mir aussichtsreicher. Guck Dir auch FMC mal an, die stellen Pflanzenschutzmittel her und wachsen ganz ordentlich, haben Gewinne in 2020 halten können. Es gibt im Chemiebereich echt bessere Aktien als BASF. CF Industries finde ich auch noch interessant, wenn man Zykliker nicht verschmäht.
Ich hab mir letztens auch mal 5 Aktien zu je 140 Euro ins Depot gelegt, als echte Watchlist sozusagen. Ich überlege ebenfalls, meine BASF Aktien zu verkaufen um mit dem Geld Shin Etsu und FMC Corp zu kaufen. Sowohl Shin Etsu als auch FMC scheinen mir aussichtsreicher.
