Interwoven (IWOV) kommt von ca. 6 $ (03.04.01), stand im "High" bei 24 $ (22.05.01) und steht momentan bei 19 $. Und diese ver4fachung kam innerhalb von nur 2 Monaten zustande! Da sollte man doch eigentlich meinen, dass die meiste Luft raus ist. Doch wir halten das Potential von IWOV noch nicht für ausgeschöpft.

Der Aufwärtstrend ist weiterhin intakt, und sollte der Widerstand bei ca. 20 $, der sich allerdings auch zum Kreuzwiderstand entwickeln könnte, gebrochen werden, hätte Interwoven zunächst Potential bis knapp unter 30 $.
Ein StopLoss wäre bei ca. 17 $ angebracht.

Interwoven ist eine meiner Meinung nach sehr vielversprechende Aktie. Auf dem gegenwärtigen Niveu ist der Einsatz von Stopp-loss eher fraglich, da die Aktie sowieso sehr volatil ist.
Langfristig sehe ich hier bald wieder die alten Höchststände.
man sollte beachten, das bei der kurzen Nasdaq-Rally vor allem Interwoven stark zugelegt hat. Was passiert wenn die gesamte Tech-Branche wieder nach oben strebt.

Ansonsten tolles produkt, sehr viele Kunden und in einem absoluten Wachstumsmarkt tätig.
Man sollte das unternehmen auch über einen Zeitraum von 2-3 Jahren betrachten.

According to John Longwell, editor of CMP Media Group`s CRN, the E-Star award was created to shed light on fast-growing emerging software categories in the eBusiness arena and the pioneering companies developing software for the Internet economy. After looking at market share data to determine the finalists, they further refined the list based on technology innovation, market leadership and the strength of its relationships with solution providers and system integrators.

One of the reasons for Interwoven`s E-Star award was the close relationship it has built with leading systems integrators. "They`ve done an excellent job positioning themselves as the leader and positioning the need for content management," said Lorin Coles, senior vice president of alliances at iXL.

Interwoven posts profit vs. loss, revenues dip

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 17 (Reuters) - Interwoven Inc.(NasdaqNM:IWOV - news), maker of software that manages the flow of Web page content, on Tuesday posted a second-quarter profit versus a loss a year earlier, beating Wall Street`s expectations, but said revenue dropped 9 percent from the first quarter of this year.

The company said said that excluding one-time items, it earned $552,000, or 1 cent a share during the second quarter, compared with a loss of $755,000, or 1 cent a share in the year-ago quarter.

Items included noncash charges related to stock-based compensation, acquisition-related expenses and a special charge related to facilities relocation.

Analysts on the average had expected earnings to be nil, with estimates ranging between a loss of a penny a share and a profit of a penny a share, according to Thomson Financial/First Call.

Revenue rose 127 percent to $55 million compared with $24.3 million last year.

If you think the bulls have
wandered too far out of the technology pen, Stephen
Sigmond begs to differ. An analyst at Dain Rauscher
Wessels in Minneapolis, Sigmond says that, even though
the bubble is bursting, the market is becoming more
rational, and, in at least one sector, things are looking up.

"It remains very bullish in the security sector, with
companies making their numbers," Sigmond says.
"Budgets may be cut, but security risks are going up."

Sigmond has followed security ever since he joined
Wessels, Arnold & Henderson in June 1995. After Dain
Rauscher acquired Wessels in 1998, Sigmond moved up
to managing director of Dain`s Internet infrastructure and
applications group, where he now covers Internet software,
content, and services in addition to information security.

While Sigmond recommends security stock, he does so
selectively and warns that, as with any kind of tech stock,
it`s better to not overbuy. "Security is mission-critical to
Internet infrastructure, because the moment you skimp [on
security spending], you`re vulnerable," he says. "As long
as you`ve got one server connected to the Internet, you
need security."

Trend toward outsourcing

He estimates that security outsourcing will become
especially important because of a lack of qualified
personnel within some companies. "It`s usually cheaper for
smaller companies to outsource, and they don`t always
know what they`re doing," Sigmond says.

"And, with a company like Cisco [Systems] (CSCO), it
has to be separate to ensure there`s no bias. You wouldn`t
want a doctor operating on himself."

As for security stock picks, Sigmond suggests Check
Point Software Technologies (CHKP) (whose IPO he
worked on), VeriSign (VRSN) and Netegrity (NETE). In
each of these companies, he found the three main
attributes that he looks for in a stock pick: a company that
thinks big by targeting a huge market, a viral and sound
business model that continually adds new customers, and
a strong, visionary team that not only has the right idea
but executes it like a machine.

"There are a lot of business models out there that are
failing because they never had a chance," Sigmond says.
"But, if a company has leverage, without just throwing
money at sales, that`s important."

On the Internet-content side, Sigmond follows
BroadVision (BVSN), Interwoven (IWOV), and IntraNet
Solutions (INRS). "There are other companies out there
that get no respect," he says. "But, if investors stay with
them, they`ll be successful."

While most investors may not think of the Twin Cities as a
financial capital, Sigmond insists that his Minnesota base
has its advantages. "It`s harder to get caught up in the
hype machine, and being in the center of the country
makes for shorter trips," he says. "Of course, that also
means I have to travel a lot more."

Tendenz in Richtung zum Outsourcing

nach die drei Hauptattribute, denen er in einer auf
lagerauswahl sucht: eine Firma, die grosses denkt, indem

accuracy. As a result, content did not get updated as frequently as needed and retraining became an issue when employees left.
