Hallo Intuit-Aktionäre (falls es außer Fiat-Lux hier welche geben sollte)!
Dies ist der Versuch eines ersten (!) Intuit-Threads.

Prudential to Deliver 401k Account Data Through Quicken Software
NEWARK, NJ, Aug 16, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Prudential Retirement Services
(PRS) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Intuit Inc. to enable
its 401(k) plan participants to download account data using Intuit`s upcoming
Quicken(R) 2001 personal finance software. The announcement makes Prudential the
first full financial services provider to sign such an agreement with the
leading software manufacturer. The solution will enable PRS clients using
Quicken 2001 to access and download account information.
"Our customers are always looking for ways to make managing their finances
easier and this agreement gives them yet another access channel to their account
information through Intuit`s industry leading personal finance software," said
Ken Montgomery, president and CEO of Prudential Retirement Services.
Under this agreement, plan participants must purchase the Quicken 2001 software.
Prudential will make the service available to all of its 401(k) plan
participants with the launch of Quicken 2001. "Intuit is pleased to be a part of
Prudential`s "Anywhere" philosophy," said Sandy Kraft, group product manager of
Online Transactions at Intuit. "We look forward to working with Prudential as
they support their customer base on our state-of-the-art software, and provide
their customers with easy access to their account data," Kraft added.
This agreement with Intuit builds on Prudential`s previous efforts to deliver
solutions that make the Internet a desirable, easy to use method of accessing
financial services. Prudential partnered with Intuit in July, 1999 to enable
brokerage clients to download account information into Quicken. In 1999,
Prudential became the first fully-integrated financial services company to
provide wireless access - through the Palm VIITM organizer - to term life
insurance quotes, stock quotes and research from Prudential Securities, 401(k)
account balance, and real estate services.
Prudential Retirement Services provides defined contribution and benefits
services for public, private and non-profit organizations, with a combination of
investment management expertise, state-of-the-art record keeping, and
comprehensive investment education programs. With more than 71 years of
experience in managing retirement plans, the company today manages more than $67
billion in defined contribution retirement assets for more than 1.1 million plan
participants.
Prudential, with more than $366 billion in assets under management as of
December 31, 1999, is one of the largest life insurance companies in the United
States and one of the largest financial institutions in the world. Prudential
serves more than 17 million individual and institutional customers in the United
States and over 30 foreign countries. The company offers a variety of products
and services, including life insurance, property and casualty insurance, mutual
funds, annuities, pension and retirement related investments and administration,
asset management, securities brokerage, and real estate and relocation.
