(Moderator OTI) We are starting with the GMS-Application and some excess-control and
parking-applications.

(Moderator OTI) Due to higher investment in R&D which is registered as expence in the P&L.
witstock: what was the main reason for the 2.8 mill in the last quarter? why is the last quarter so high like
the hole 9 month before?
(Moderator OTI) Projects in USA the fall is Southeast Asia and Europe as well as projects in Africa.
witstock: Who is your partner in the project with the gsm-applications?
(Moderator OTI) Our partners in US ist HP, in Africa is British Petroleum and in Turkey it is Turcas.

(Moderator OTI) We cannot give details in this time, but we are starting with three different countries.

(Moderator OTI) The year 2000 we will have a profit of 10% of the revenues.

resignation of the market or do you think there is no reason for this reaction ?

WARFAIR2: How do you come to this "10% profit" conclusion? Will OTI grow steady or will there be
significant differences between Q1 to Q4?
(Moderator OTI) 1. The 10% is after a planned increase in R&D.
(Moderator OTI) 2. Usually the last quarter like every year, the last quater represents about 40% of
anual %.

(Moderator OTI) When we sale projection this is our respectation but we will try to do more.

but issues of marketing and distribution policy of your products?
(Moderator OTI) Yes it is based on our technological advantages but the marketing and distribution
(Moderator OTI) will play a major role. This is the reason for entering into statistic agreement

(Moderator OTI) We cannot answer this question at the moment.
Dialektiker: There are rumours on a potential takeover of OTI on the part of Infineon. Can you comment
on that speculation?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we are.

company??
(Moderator OTI) We have a good reaction in those days.
crazyboy2000: What about your scheduled figures for 2000, 2001 Do you expect a significant increase?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we expect significant growths in sales in the years 2000 and 2001.

(Moderator OTI) We are developing products in the smart-card filled.
kl: Are you developing products for internet applications?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we are considering such developments for financials transactions and

Ich sehe OTI jetzt mit etwas anderen Augen. Einerseits mäßige Zahlen in ´99 und auch nur ein verhaltener Ausblick auf 2000. Andererseits scheint OTI wirklich noch eine Menge vorzuhaben. OTI hat gute Chancen langfristig eine dominierende Rolle im Bereich der Smart-Cards zu spielen. Im Moment geht es gar nicht um Gewinne, sondern um die strategische Eroberung des Marktes. Bis der Plan von OTI aufgeht, ist aber wohl noch etwas Geduld notwendig.

Keine Absage zu Infineon (kein Kommentar, aber wenn nichts an den Gerüchten dran ist, kann man ja dementieren)

Nabend zusammen!

Ich wollte seinerzeit Oti für 13,40 € kaufen. Ich habs nicht geschafft. Als die Aktie dann auf 18 € gestiegen war, habe ich mir gedacht, es sei fürs erste zu spät, ich solle besser mal warten bis die Aktie wieder etwas runterkommt.
Als sie dann bei 25 war, habe ich geflucht und wieder ernsthaft über einen Kauf nachgedacht.
Heute habe ich für 33 gekauft. Prima, zwei Stunden später fiel der Kurs wieder auf 27......

Wenn ich mir die Reaktionen so anschaue, dann reichen die Meinung von "grosser Katastrophe" bishin zur "grossen Euphorie".
Ich denke, dass mit Sicherheit nicht alles in einem solchen Interview gesagt wird. Und manches war wirklich nur zwischen den Zeilen zu lesen.
Schaun mer mal wer in den naechsten Tagen gewinnt, die Baeren oder die Bullen.

Ich habe fuer OTI die "Hoerner" auf. ;-))))

Ich dachte, das sei ein Schreibfehler und sollte 5 million heissen. Und so wird es wohl auch sein, denn sonst müsste oti an jedem Einwohner Israels (vom Säugling bis zum Greis) ca. $ 1000 verdienen oder das System müsste sich epedemieartig über die ganze Welt verbreiten (wogegen ich zwar nichts hätte, wofür es aber noch keine allzu konkreten Hinweise gibt).

nehmt es mir nicht übel, aber die ganze Nummer hier erinnert
mich stark an Graphisoft.

Zuerst jede Menge Ad-hocs, dann große Ankündigung der Zahlen,
incl. Telefonkonferenz mit Chefe, und alles nur um mitzuteilen,
daß die Zahlen nicht gerade euporisch sind.
Immer daran denke, da draußen sind welche die unbedingt Eure
Kohle wollen.

Bei manchen hier habe ich das Gefühl, daß Euphorie Blind macht.

Hi,

merci für die Mühe, den aktuellen chat in diesen thread zu stellen.
Ich glaube, heute haben einige die Nerven verloren. Selbst ProMaiLer
im Nachbarthread ist momentan nicht gut drauf (und das will was heis-
sen!).

Selbst wenn der chat nicht besonders war, so ändert das doch überhaupt
nichts an dem enormen Potential der smartcard-Technologie und eins ist
sicher: OTI wird sich ein gutes Stück aus dem Kuchen herausschneiden.

Ansonsten gilt noch immer: buy on bad news!

Ich selbst habe jedenfalls bislang keine einzige meiner OTIs verkauft
und sehe auch für die nächste Zeit keinen Grund dafür. Das board ist
voll von Leuten, die es mittlerweile bitter bereuen, zu einem früheren
Zeitpunkt ausgestiegen zu sein.

eine PK in Burkina Faso stattfinden soll auf der eine Kooperation
mit dem Flughafen Tenkodogo bekannt gegeben wird. Klingt nicht
schlecht oder ? Das dürfte eigentlich für Kurse von mindestens 60€ reichen...
