spekulativ, aber nicht uninteressant. Habe mir auch ein paar Stücke gegönnt. Cameco ist schon eine gute Referenz, die werden sich schon genau aussuchen, mit wem sie Explorationsprojekte gemeinsam durchführen und wem sie dafür Geld geben.

mir gefällt hier besonders die geringe Marktkapitalisierung von 6,7 Mio Euro.

Eine Kapitalerhöhung ist m.E. völlig auszuschliessen, das Cameco die Zusage für rd. 15 bis 18 Jahre erteilt hat.
Dafür erhält Cameco 65 % und Bitterrroot 35 %.

Ein Super Deal wie ich finde, da Bitterroot keine Risiken hat und mit Cameco auch noch einen Abnehmer für das Uran im Boot hat. ( zumal die Uran minen bei Cameco alle nur noch kurze Restlebenszeiten haben )

Hier könnte sich ein Hebel von einigen tausend Prozent ergeben und BTT auf ein KGV von deutlich unter 1 zurückfallen.

Interessantes Teil. Sicher sehr spekulativ, ... aber mit gewissen Sicherheiten durch das Cameco-Engagement.
Ist auf meiner watchlist.

habe mal ein bißchen in den Geschäftsberichten gestöbert. Klar, die Company macht noch keinen müden Dollar Umsatz, da sie sich aber noch in der langen Explorationsphase befindet, ist das normal.
Bislang wurde in den erworbenen Claims nichts verwertbares gefunden, was sich abzubauen rechnen würde. Bei einigen Claims ist es sogar so, daß keine weiteren Anstrengungen unternommen werden, die aufgelaufenen Verluste werden abgeschrieben.

Am interessantesten ist in der Tat das Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Cameco in Michigan / USA. Cameco hat per Ende Januar 2005 bereits rund 0,5 Mio CAD investiert, damit liegen sie "über Plan" (0,6 Mio. bis 06/2005, weitere vereinbarte Investitionen pro Jahr bis zu einer Gesamtsumme von 23,6 Mio. CAD). Dafür erhält Cameco 65 % der künftigen Produktion.

Gerade für kleine Companies ist dieser Weg eines JV sicher nicht das Schlechteste.
Neben der finanziellen Unterstützung dürfte auch der qualitative Aspekt einer Zusammenarbeit mit einem Schwergewicht wie Cameco nicht zu unterschätzen sein, da kann man viel von lernen.

So eine Vorgehensweise wirkt schon professionell, es ist zu hoffen, daß das Management insgesamt dieses Atribut auch verdient. Der gesamte Geschäftsbericht würde das unterstützen, wirkt durchaus auch professionell gemacht.

zu den finanziellen Infos: 29,2 Mio Aktien im Umlauf, macht eine MK von aktuell 7,3 Mio Euro. Hinzu kommen weitere 7,925 Mio Aktienoptionen, die sukzessive bis 2010 ausgeübt werden dürfen. Bemerkenswerterweise liegt der strike price nur bei 2,6 Mio dieser Optionen unter dem aktuellen Kurs von 0,37 CAD, demgegenüber basieren 4,8 Mio Optionen auf einem Ausübungspreis von 0,50 CAD oder höher (bis 0,81 CAD). Hier sind also einige Geldgeber wesentlich optimistischer als die Börse zur Zeit.

The first phase of the Bitterroot/Cameco 2005 exploration program in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will include ground-based EM surveys to test near-surface conductive zones identified by a 1,250 line-kilometre airborne geophysical (GEOTEM) survey flown in late 2004. The GEOTEM survey has identified a number of untested conductive basement structures with a total strike length of over 25 kilometers. Several of these conductive zones are coincident with or along trend from structurally complex graphitic zones which were tested in 2003 and 2004 by five core holes totaling 481 metres. Geochemical analyses of these drill holes confirm the prospectivity of the graphitic zones and overlying sedimentary rocks.

The 2005 drilling program is expected to commence in the early summer. The total number of holes and metres to be drilled in 2005 will be determined following receipt of the ground-based EM surveys. Cameco will provide all funding for the 2005 exploration program and Bitterroot will remain the project operator.

das mit den steigenden Volumina in Kanada ist mir auch bereits aufgefallen, nimmt auch noch weiter zu. Und daß bei steigenden Kursen. Wobei das Volumen immer noch recht niedrig ist, das sind noch nicht allzu viele Marktteilnehmer, die da aktiv wurden. Die Masse kommt noch...

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, daß sich einige Anleger hier in Erwartung positiver Nachrichten positionieren. Es müssten so langsam die Bohrergebnisse von dem Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Cameco und evt. auch von dem GK-Projekt veröffentlicht werden. Und wenn es da positives zu vermelden gibt, dann sind die aktuellen Kurse natürlich absolute Schnäppchenpreise, eine MK von unter 10 Mio Euro ist da fast lächerlich.
Und was Cameco betrifft: die haben ihre Investitionszusagen für dieses Jahr erfüllt und damit ihre Option um ein Jahr verlängert, was mit weiteren (steigenden) Investitionsverpflichtungen für Cameco einhergeht. Macht man ja auch nur, wenn man positive Signale erkennt.

Vielleicht wissen da ja einige bereits mehr als wir...

Deinen Äußerungen kann ich nur zustimmen. Der Kurs tritt weiterhin auf der Stelle, als ob jemand langsam und kursschonend beginnt Positionen aufzubauen. Ich bin auf die "offiziellen" Bohrergebnisse gespannt.

Drilling on Bitterroot Resources Ltd.`s Mineral Creek project near Port Alberni, BC has increased the known dimensions of high-grade gold mineralization in the 1050 Zone. Drill hole BTT-1053 intersected a 0.8 metre interval grading 244 g/T gold , approximately 20 metres above a previously reported 1.7 metre interval grading 287 g/T gold from Westmin Resources` 1989 hole DN-217. Drill hole BTT-1052 also intersected a 0.5 metre interval grading 55.6 g/T gold, approximately 15 metres below the high-grade intersection in DN-217. These well-mineralized intervals and others were intersected within a 16 metre-thick fault zone, which is open along strike and down dip (refer to cross section and table of drill results). Gold mineralization occurs as native gold or with pyrite and arsenopyrite in carbonate-altered basalt. The high-grade gold-mineralized system has been traced down dip approximately 55 metres and is open at depth and along strike. Soil geochemical surveys have identified a gold soil anomaly over 300 metres wide, along strike and immediately downhill of the surface trace of the mineralized zone. Drilling is currently testing the mineralized zone from a second drill site located approximately 125 metres east of the drill holes reported in this release.

Bitterroot is currently exploring two gold projects in British Columbia,
Canada. These are the Mineral Creek project and the GK project.
In Michigan, we are exploring for Uranium, which is funded by Cameco
Corporation and for gold, which we are funding ourselves.
There are currently no resource estimates available for our projects, but
our goal is to define a mineable high-grade reserve at the Mineral Creek
project during the next 12 months.

Leider ist die nicht sooo dick, aber trotzdem gut.

Man kann aber noch nicht viel mehr dazu sagen, da ja erst wenige Bohrungen durchgeführt wurden.

Das Projekt startet aber sehr vielversprechend wie ich meine.

Bitterroot Resources (BTT.TSXV/$0.285) - The Root began to look a big loggy late last week, and as is so often the case in StockLand, the cause was the expiration of the four-month hold period following a July financing. Warrants at $0.30 and expiring on December 22 are likely to limit near-term advances, as will the reality that some who hold BTT today do so at a loss. The most prominent of this group are the Internut crowd that were hyping BTT`s uranium connection back in February, a connection that continues to be at the mercy of bureaucrats in Michigan. The story got some play earlier this week, when partner Cameco revealed in a Michigan newspaper that it was indeed looking for uranium in Michigan, and preparing an exploration program to be conducted next year, as part of the Bitterroot joint-venture.

This Tuesday Bitterroot reported additional high-grade drill results from its Mineral Creek project, the headline number being 402 g/t gold (11.7 oz./ton) over 0.4 meters, within a 5.3 meter interval averaging 34.1 g/t. More important, perhaps, the company reported that rehabilitation of the 900 Zone underground workings will commence in the weeks ahead, and this will facilitate underground exploration of this high-grade gold zone. While today`s results continue to point toward the assemblage of a high-grade gold deposit, BTT is burdened by tax loss selling, by the freeing up of stock from the last financing, and by the warrant overhang. Those factors will cease to exist in a few weeks and the market`s focus is then more likely to be on the project. This conclusion is one that`s likely to be aided by a Northern Miner article expected out later this week, written by a former editor of the paper who has a long-term association with the project. Between more results from Mineral Creek, the prospect of a drill program with uranium miner Cameco in mid-2006, and the lifting of seasonal and financing variables in the near-term, BTT at current prices remains a buy. Don`t pay up for it, but do buy what`s available below and in the low $0.30s.

The good news, however, is that those buying BTT now are predisposing themselves to make some money. I think I`m correct in saying that the consensus about Bitterroot`s Mineral Creek project is that the market refuses to take note of it because of the narrow widths that have been reported, converting to gram meters per tonne, reveals the following:

402 g/T over 0.4 m = 168 gm/T
244 g/T over 0.8 m = 195 gm/T
Avg. = 182 gm/T or.91 g/t (2.65 oz./ton) over a 2 meter mining width.

As we`ve suggested before, this is a generous mining width, and the company`s activities should be better appreciated as more results and an underground sampling program start to deliver results next year. As for the stock, taking the seasonal and structural (financing and tax-related) overhang away from this market seems certain to translate into a higher price in January. Weiterhin gute Ergebnisse


Drilling on Bitterroot Resources Ltd.`s Mineral Creek project near Port Alberni, BC continues to intersect high-grade gold mineralization in the 1050 Zone. Drill hole BTT-1059 returned 74.5 g/Tonne Au over a core length of 1.0 metre, which represents a true width of approximately 0.9 metres. This intersection is approximately 20 metres down dip from the previously reported interval grading 402 g/Tonne Au over a core length of 0.4 metres, which represents a true width of approximately 0.35 metres. The high-grade gold-mineralized 1050 Zone has now been intersected along a strike length of 130 metres and approximately 60 metres down dip. The structural zone which hosts the 1050 Zone is untested by drilling outside of the area of drill Setups #1 and #2 and is open at depth.

The drill has been moved to a new location, approximately one kilometre ESE of the 1050 Zone to begin testing the area below the high-grade 900 Zone. Drill hole BTT-N-1 was completed to a depth of 224.6 metres (Azimuth 226 degrees, Dip -55 degrees) and is currently being logged and sampled. Drill hole BTT-N-2 is underway (Azimuth 226 degrees, Dip -75 degrees).

Rehabilitation of the 200 metre-long, 3 metre by 3 metre adit into the 900 Zone has also begun. The portal is currently being rebuilt and secured. An underground exploration program consisting of mapping and sampling will start in January and underground drilling is planned to start in the first quarter of 2006, following procurement of a suitable underground diamond drill.



Note Regarding Correction of Previously Reported Results

ALS Chemex has notified Bitterroot`s management that a previously reported sample interval in drill hole BTT-1058 (erroneously reported as 11.1 g/Tonne from 75.0 to 76.8 metres) was contaminated during grinding in their North Vancouver laboratory. The sample split has been re-assayed twice and returned 0.076 g/Tonne Au and 0.077 g/Tonne Au. For clarity, a copy of ALS Chemex`s letter has been posted on Bitterroot`s website, www.bitterrootresources.com. Bitterroot`s management and Qualified Person Michael Becherer P.Geo, have reviewed the data and concluded that this analytical error does not have a material impact on the Mineral Creek project. A corrected drill site plan and cross section are included in this news release.

Samples from the Mineral Creek project are analysed by ALS Chemex, a division of ALS Canada Ltd., at its North Vancouver laboratory by 34 Element Aqua Regia ICP-AES (ME-ICP41) and Au 30g FA-AA finish (Au-AA23). Samples containing more than 10 g/Tonne Au are also analysed by Au 30g FA with Gravimetric finish (Au-GRA21). Michael Becherer P.Geo is the Qualified Person responsible for the design and execution of exploration programs and technical reporting on the Mineral Creek project.

Ich halte die Aktie weiterhin als Langfrist investment im Depot.

so, an der TSX ging es bis auf 0,46 Can$ hoch, das Niveau wurde zuletzt im März gesehen. Umsätze leicht anziehend, aber immer noch verhalten. Mal schauen, ob die Aktie das Niveau jetzt halten bzw. ausbauen kann oder wieder der Rückfall in eine Konso geschieht.

Die Bohrergebnisse geben Hoffnung, das Mineral Creek ein guter Claim ist. Mineralisierung sieht gut aus, wenn auch die Funde bislang nur kurze Längen aufweisen. Benötigt wohl noch weitere Bohrungen.

Was das Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit Camecom angeht, so gibt es wohl Verzögerungen aufgrund von noch ausstehenden Genehmigungen. Aber die Funkstille ist schon verwunderlich. Aber was solls, die Kooperation wurde im Sommer um ein Jahr verlängert, Cameco hat seinen Anteil geleistet und gezahlt, was die nur tun, wenn sie weiterhin optimistisch sind.

Gold Mining Stock Report

Bitterroot Resources (BTT.TSXV/$0.40) - BTT closed out 2005 on a strong
note, a clear high volume technical breakout that presaged a low volume
re-test of the breakout this week. The catalyst for the year-end advance
appeared to be additional high-grade results from the company`s Mineral
Creek project, on Vancouver Island, and what crossed my mind was that the
project is finally achieving critical mass in the marketplace. Whether
that`s an accurate assessment now or whether that explanation comes into
play a bit later, I do think continued high-grade results, an underground
bulk sample being taken at this time, and a gold market where increasingly
few stocks appear cheap, will accrue to Bitterroot`s benefit.

While it has receded into the background, owing to Michigan
regulators in May of 2004 promising completed revisions to the company`s
leases within 90 days, Bitterroot still has a uranium joint-venture funded
by Cameco (CCO.T/$80.02 - CCJ/$68.61), and will in all likelihood see a
spring-summer drill program. In advance of that time, and largely because
BTT is one of the few stocks I see that I`d recommend buying right now,
picking away in the current range is not likely to find you offside on your

Gibt ja auch nicht ständig Neues, die Company konzentriert sich hoffentlich in erster Linie auf ihre Arbeit und weniger um das Produzieren von inhaltsarmen PR-Meldungen.

Das Papier hält sich ziemlich gut, gestern ging es mal wieder um über 16% an der TSX nach oben auf 0,445 C$, darauf lässt sich aufbauen.

Im Quartalsbericht wird wie gewohnt vorsichtig berichtet, aber die relevanten Projekte werden weiter vorangetrieben und die Finanzierung für die Arbeiten in 2006 steht. Allerdings stehen weitere Finanzierungsrunden an, um auch für die Folgejahre die Exploration bezahlen zu können.
Das Cameco-Projet läuft jetzt auch wieder, wenngleich man wohl noch ziemlich am Anfang steht und noch allgemeine Erkundungen vornimmt. Aber Cameco ist noch im Boot und zahlt.

Meine Einschätzung: hier ist Geduld gefordert, aber die langfristigen Aussichten für BTT sind nicht übel. Sie haben bereits Goldfunde gemacht und ihre Gebiete liegen leicht zugänglich, Abbaukosten wären daher moderat. Mehrere Projekte werden mit Partnern durchgeführt, meiner Ansicht nach ein kluger Weg.
Ob sie irgendwann selbst produzieren werden? Vermutlich werden sie lukrative Gebiete eher verkaufen oder lizenzieren oder werden komplett übernommen.

Das nächste Private Placement steht an. BTT will darüber 2 Mio. Can $ einnehmen, mit "Greenshoe" sogar 2,5 Mio (abzügl. 6% für den Broker).
Damit soll vor allem die weitere Exploration des Projektes Mineral Creek in British Columbia weiter vorangetrieben werden, der Rest ist für die anderen Projekte und für allg. Kosten gedacht.

Was aus meiner Sicht ganz ok ist, ist der Optionspreis:

Die Hälfte der Shares ("Unit Offering") werden zu 0,40 $ verkauft, dazu gibt es eine Option für den Kauf einer weiteren Aktie zu 0,55 $ innerhalb von 18 Monaten obendrauf. Bei guter Resonanz kann das Verkaufsvolumen um 50% erhöht werden, also 1,5 Mio. einbringen.
Die andere Hälfte der Shares ("Flow Through Common Share")wird zu 0,45 $ verkauft, hier gibt es nix dazu.

Das liegt alles sehr nahe am aktuellen Börsenkurs (0,40), bzw. die 0,45 liegen sogar darüber. Hier wird ja sowas wie Kurspflege erforderlich, denn wenns die Teile an der Börse günstiger gibt, wird sie kaum einer über das PP kaufen wollen.
Die Option mit den 0,55 $ ist auch nicht schlecht, entspricht einer Steigerung von 37,5% ggü heute. Und BTT will die Kohle aus der Ausübung der Warrants bestimmt auch noch bekommen. Bei voller Platzierung der Aktien (auch der Mehrmenge) wären das 3,75 Mio. Optionen mal 0,55 $ macht 2,06 Mio. Can $. Und erspart eine komplette Finanzierungsrunde.

Für mich klingt das gut und ich werde auch auf jeden Fall noch länger dabei bleiben. Kurzfristig müsste der Kurs eigentlich um rund 20% steigen, um überhaupt das PP attraktiv zu machen. Die längerfristige Entwicklung wird dann natürlich ganz maßgeblich von den Explorationsergebnissen abhängen.

Bitterroot Resources Ltd. (BTT, TSX-V) has retained Toll Cross Securities Inc. (Toll Cross) to act as its exclusive agent, on a best efforts basis, in connection with a brokered private placement offering of Units and Flow-Through common shares. The $1,000,000 Unit offering will be priced at $0.40 per Unit, with each Unit consisting of one common share, plus one common share purchase warrant exercisable at $0.55 for 18 months from the closing date. Toll Cross will have an over-allotment option for an additional $500,000 of Units. The Flow-Through common share offering will raise a maximum of $1,000,000 and is priced at $0.45 per share. The entire offering is scheduled to close March 31, 2006, subject to regulatory approvals.

Toll Cross will receive a cash commission equal to 6% of the gross proceeds of the offering. In addition, Bitterroot will grant broker warrants to Toll Cross equal to 6% of the number of Units and Flow-Through shares sold pursuant to the offering. Each broker warrant will entitle Toll Cross to purchase one Unit at $0.40 for a period of 18 months from closing.

The bulk of the proceeds of the Flow-Through portion of the private placement will be used to fund surface and underground exploration of the Mineral Creek gold property near Port Alberni, British Columbia. The remaining proceeds will be used for working capital and to advance Bitterroot`s exploration projects in other areas, including Michigan, British Columbia and Quebec.

Just got the BTT annual report, some interesting facts:
Over 90% of shares are held by 3 insiders, or companies controlled by insiders. This means the available share `float` is tight, and price can dramatically increase on good news.

Michigan properties (uranium potential) - BTT has an agreement with CAMECO whereby CAMECO can acquire a 65% interest by incurring expenditures of $23,600,000 (Thats 26.3 MILLION dollars) over a period of 18 years. CAMECO is up to date on their yearly payments to BTT, and it appears that CAMECO has been funding most of the Michigan exploration through these payments. Great for BTT, and should anything be discovered BTT will dramatically increase in price.

BTT also is working on 3 of their BC properties, mainly gold, near Beaverdell, Spences Bridge, and Mineral Creek. Mineral Creek is only 10 km from Port Alberni, which is mainly known as a pulp mill town and fishing town. This would help operations being so close to infrastructure. The property has already had gold production in the past. BTT will be doing work on all these properties in 2006.

The big story for BTT is ofcourse the Michigan lands and Cameco. Nothing has been proven yet but the rewards could be significant if there is a find. Why would CAMECO be there spending money if there wasn`t some decent potential?

tja, heimlich still und leise stieg BTT unaufhaltsam nach oben und jetzt wird es lauter und der Anstieg steiler.
Vielleicht ein kanadischer BB mit einer Empfehlung, jedenfalls ist das Volumen mit einer halben Mio. Aktien bereits jetzt um Faktor 5 höher als an normalen Börsentagen während der gesamten Handelszeit. Und 25% Aufschlag ggü gestern sind nicht zu verachten.

Hat sich schon gelohnt, da mal eine Position zu wagen und den langweiligen Sommer und Herbst über zu halten.
