Die Terrororganisation al-Qaida hat sich zu den Anschlägen von London bekannt.
Eine Gruppe namens "Geheimorganisation - al-Qaida in Europa" hat nach Informationen von SPIEGEL ONLINE auf einer von Islamisten frequentierten Internetseite ein Bekennerschreiben veröffentlicht.


Das Bekennerschreiben der Qaida Berlin - "Freut Euch, Gemeinschaft der Muslime", heißt es in dem Schreiben, das SPIEGEL ONLINE vorliegt. "Die heldenhaften Mudschahidin haben heute einen Angriff in London durchgeführt", heißt es weiter. Ganz Großbritannien sei jetzt erschüttert und schockiert, "im Norden, im Süden, im Westen und im Osten". "Wir haben die britische Regierung und das britische Volk immer und immer wieder gewarnt", schreiben die Verfasser. "Wir haben unser Versprechen gehalten und eine gesegnete militärische Operation durchgeführt."

"Wir warnen auch weiterhin", heißt es in dem Dokument, "die Regierungen Dänemarks und Italiens und alle weiteren Kreuzfahrer-Regierungen". Alle Staaten werden aufgefordert, ihre Truppen aus Afghanistan und dem Irak abzuziehen.

Die Authentizität des Dokuments konnte nicht sofort bestätigt werden. Auf der Internetseite, auf der es veröffentlich wurde - das Forum "al-Qala`a" - waren schon in den vergangenen Monaten regelmäßig authentische Bekennerschreiben und Bulletins verschiedener Terrorgruppen, unter anderem der irakischen al-Qaida-Filiale aufgelaufen. Aber auch unauthentisches Material wird dort gelegentlich gepostet. Das heutige Posting ist unterzeichnet mit "Geheimorganisation - al-Qaida (wörtl.: Die Dschihad-Basis) in Europa".

Über ISONICS berichteten wir schon einmal im Januar 2005 (siehe NL 05-02). Damals gab das Unternehmen die erste Lieferung des Radioisotops Actinium-225 an das amerikanische NIH bekannt.

Isonics verkauft erste 300mm-Wafer

Isonics (Nachrichten) hat heute bekannt gegeben, im Mai erste 300mm-Wafer an einen führenden Chiphersteller verkauft zu haben. Das Unternehmen hatte zuvor bereits angekündigt, im Frühjahr den Markt mit Produkten zu 300mm-Technologie betreten zu wollen. Der Spezialist für Halbleiter und isotopische Materialien legte auch dar, dass 300mm-Siliziumscheiben der am schnellsten wachsende Bereich in der Chipindustrie seien. Der Großteil des industriellen Bedarfs werde derzeit von asiatischen Produzenten abgedeckt, während die Produktionskapazitäten in den USA nicht ausreichend seien.

Im vorbörslichen Handel sprangen Isonics in den USA um 10,32 Prozent nach oben auf 3,42 Dollar.

Isonics Protection Plus Subsidiary Launches Growth Initiative to Win Government Homeland Security Contracts; Veteran Security Industry Executive Hired to Lead Effort

Isonics Corporation (Nasdaq:ISON), committed to the development of next-generation technology for the homeland security and semiconductor markets, today announced the launch of a new business initiative by expanding the focus of its Protection Plus Security Consultants (PPSC) subsidiary from the private to the public sector. Security industry veteran executive John E. Brown has been appointed head of Government Services for PPSC. The federal government annually spends billions of dollars on security services in defense against terrorism and other security threats, and it is PPSC`s goal to bid for and obtain contracts to provide some of those services.

Global E-Point Receives $1 Million in Orders for Aviation Systems


CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. (AP) -- Global e-Point Inc., a maker of security technologies, said Friday its aviation division, AirWorks, received multiple orders this week worth about $1 million.
Shares of Global e-Point rose 24 cents, or 5.7 percent, to $4.44 on the Nasdaq.

The company said a variety of airlines, original equipment manufacturers and aircraft leasing companies placed orders for its system installation kits and cockpit door surveillance systems.

"The orders we received this week represent an acceleration of a trend that has been developing over the past six months," Ricky Frick, president of AirWorks, said in a statement. "We are continuing to see an increase in our average daily level of installation kit building for our core U.S. customers every month, along with increasing requests for solution-providing systems."

The company attributed the increase in orders in part to growth in the airline-modification business.

For the six months ended June 30, Global e-Point posted net sales of $10.7 million.
