Utilizing a combination of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, TIBCO BusinessEvents®, Spotfire®, and TIBCO Hawk® to refine its operating room turnover processes, UChicago Medicine saw an immediate improvement in patient care and operating margins. With the initial implementation, operating room turnover time decreased by 15-20%, equating to $600,000 a year savings in operating costs. In early 2016, the addition of automatic alerts has continued to drive improvements, anticipated to be an additional 15-20% decrease in turnover time and another $500,000 a year in savings.

By creating a Fast Data platform comprised of ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, TIBCO BusinessEvents, TIBCO ActiveMatrix® BPM, and Spotfire, TUI Group transformed its infrastructure to support creation of engaging new channels, such as its newly developed mobile app, TUI Digital Assistant. By introducing new ways for customers to interact with TUI Group, the company reaches important milestones on the way to its target of a net promoter score of 50.
