Bellevue Group strengthens its wealth management expertise: Thomas Pixner to become the new CEO of Bank am Bellevue - Veit de Maddalena to be proposed for election to the Board of Directors - Seite 2

André Rüegg, CEO of Bellevue Group, comments: "Thomas Pixner is an internationally experienced wealth management expert. As CEO, he will further strengthen the new positioning of the wealth management franchise in a joint effort with the already successful operational team headed by Christian Zenker. With his many years of experience and valued competency, Thomas Pixner will be instrumental in guiding the bank through its next stage of development and accelerating the ongoing extension of our services."

Thomas Blum (42) is also joining the team as Senior Client Advisor. He is a talented client advisor with more than 15 years of experience in working with an international clientele, primarily at Rothschild Bank AG, Zurich and, before that, at VP Bank in Vaduz.

Given the stronger focus on the asset and wealth management business, the Board of Directors will also be strengthened with the election of Veit de Maddalena (50) as a new director at the Annual General Meeting in 2018. Veit de Maddalena has a deep understanding of the international wealth management business. His long international career includes various assignments and key positions at Credit Suisse and, since 2006, at Rothschild & Co. Veit de Maddalena headed for years the Wealth Management & Trust Division, was a member of the Group Management Committee of Rothschild & Co. and served as Chief Executive Officer of Rothschild Bank AG, Zurich. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice Chairman of Rothschild Bank AG, Zurich.
