The board is pleased to announce the appointment of french industry
veteran Bruno Chatelin as Chief Executive Officer of MNTV and Board
Member.
Bruno Chatelin, 56, a recognised veteran in the entertainment
industry, voting member from the prestigious European Film Academy,
and Cesar brings a vast and complex experience from advertising
agencies (10 years with JWT, Masius, Publicis); film distribution in
France for major companies where he has distributed over 250 movies
for both Columbia TriStar and UGC Twentieth Century Fox. He formed
and run the joint venture between both companies. The company grossed
50MEUR under his tenure and became N°2 in the market achieving box
office records with Independence Day ID4... He worked with classic
authors like Woody Allen (3 titles: Alice...), Scorcese, James Ivory
(Remains of the Day) legendary directors like Francis Coppola, Alan
Parker, Terry Gilliam (3 times), Lelouch, Bertolucci, and many more
box office makers like Paul Verhoeven, James Cameron (T2), Michael
Bay, Oliver Stone...handled over 30 Oscar nominated material (Silence
of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Glory, and many more film, including
first timers like Boyz´n the Hood - John Singleton... He has spent
the last decade in new media and TV. He is a co founder of
filmfestivals.com and turned it into the leading international media
- portal and social network - dedicated to the film and festival
community (a pioneer in VOD...). the sites reach 350 000 unique
visitors per month and 80 000 subscribers. As the Managing Director
of Karoui & Karoui Entertainment he produced over 50 shows of "who
wants to become a millionaire" sold to ENTV, the national Algerian TV
(achieving all best rating with 55%). MNTV is set to launch in
September in Germany, France, UK and Ukraine (soon to be followed by
a wider European and Eastern countries roll out)
