hmm, ich hab mal versucht svm unter kritischen gesichtspunkten zu bewerten und da gibt es durchaus plausible ansatzpunkte für den kursverfall. genau werden wir es aber dann mit den q1 zahlen wissen.
svm hat bei heutigem sk von 4,69cad und 154mio aktien eine mk von 722mio cad. dann ergibt sich ein kgv von 12 bezogen auf den gewinn 2007/2008 von ca. 60mio cad (ist ja ungefähr 1:1 zum usd)
diese bewertung ist günstig aber eben kein schnäppchen.
für das laufende geschäftsjahr werden laut aussagen vom management (? sorry, nur aus dem kopf, keine quelle) ja 80mio cad angestrebt - nur sind ja jetzt die basismetallpreise eingebrochen und die haben eben einen 50% anteil am gewinn. dazu die 15% ertragssteuern und die ungewissheit über die auswirkungen der inflation.
letztes jahr waren die umsatzerlöse bei 110mio und heuer müssten imo mindestens 170mio umsatzerlöse gemacht werden um eben diese 80mio zu erreichen - nur, das erste quartal wird vermutlich nicht so toll ausfallen und ob die zusätzliche produktion ab nov 08 problemlos anläuft ist ungewiss.
der markt bestraft imo svm weil das aktuelle geschäftsjahr mit viel unsicherheit behaftet ist und möglicherweise nicht mal der vorjahresgewinn erreicht werden kann.
warten wirs ab - werden sehr spannende und interessante monate. grundsätzlich sehe ich aber erst ab november einen möglichen nachhaltigen kursanstieg

Ist dieser rapide Abfall rational zu erklären, obwohl natürlich die Basismetalle nachgegeben haben...

die schätzung zu den umsatzerlösen ergibt sich aus den produktionszahlen der letzten 3 quartale (die hat wolfi67 in seinem posting 498 zusammengestellt - danke an dieser stelle )

zn: 2,5mio lb @0,40usd
ab nov 08 soll ja zusätzlich zu der aktuell laufenden 1000t/d produktion die neue 2000t/d anlage angefahren werden - ab diesem zeitpunkt kann man dann höhere quartalsumsätze erwarten.
