China Gas and SK's joint venture to buy shares from Taizhou Gas

China Gas steigert Umsatz und Gewinn
Peking (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die China Gas Holdings Ltd. (ISIN BMG2109G1033 (Nachrichten)/ WKN 931817) veröffentlichte für das abgelaufene Geschäftsjahr kräftige Zuwächse bei Umsatz und Ergebnis.

Unternehmensangaben vom Montag zufolge erhöhten sich die Umsatzerlöse auf 1,24 Mrd. Hongkong-Dollar (HKD). Dies entspricht einem Plus von 97 Prozent.

Den weiteren Angaben zufolge kletterte der Nettogewinn um 21,3 Prozent auf 190,10 Mio. HKD bzw. 6,35 HK-Cent. An die Aktionäre soll eine Dividende in Höhe von 1,2 HK-Cent je Aktie ausgeschüttet werden.

hallo,
ich habe in deutschland gekauft, und zwar am 28.06.07 zu 0,34€.
im nachhineinein betrachtet sicherlich ein sehr ungünstiger zeitpunkt aber langfristig gesehen bin ich eigentlich sehr optimistisch gestimmt. es fehlt eigentlich nur ein etwas breiteres interesse für diesen sehr interessanten wert

mit dem Einstieg hattest du Pech - jetzt siehts ja schon wieder ganz gut aus für dich - ich bin vorgestern in Hongkong rein mit 2,72 - spannend bleibt dieser WErt auf jeden Fall - zum einen glaub ich dass es sich hier auch um einen Wachstumswert handelt und zum anderen ist es halt auch ein Langfristinvestment - richtig durchrattern nach unten
kann ich mir derzeit nicht mehr vorstellen bei dem Kaufinteresse

(Infocast News) China Gas Holdings Limited (0384) announced that Zhongren Investment Limited, a subsidiary of China Gas, acquired 49% stake in Chongqing Ding Wang Chemical Co., Ltd. (Chongqing Ding Wang) at a total investment of RMB15.68 million.

Chongqing Ding Wang Chemical has a registered capital of RMB32 million and is 51% held by Chongqing Ding Fat Industries Co., Ltd. (Chongqing Ding Fat) and 49% by China Gas. The company is in the business of construction and operation of a 100¡Ñ104Nm/d natural gas desulphurization and purification project. Basic construction work of the new project was completed and trial operation has commenced. When fully operational, the project will boast a daily gas purification capacity of one million cubic meters (annual purification capacity of 400 million cubic meters) and an annual production capacity of over 6,000 tonnes of sulphur, generating an average annual sales of approximately RMB450 million.

China Gas acquired 38.69% of Chongqing Ding Fat Industries Co., Ltd. in May 2006.

HONG KONG (Dow Jones)--Urban gas distributor China Gas Holdings Ltd. (0384.HK [News / Quote]) said Thursday it plans to start coalbed methane exploration in Inner Mongolia by the end of this year.



China Gas said in a statement it signed an agreement with the government to explore and develop the extraction of coalbed methane, the company's first such venture, in areas totaling 2,440 square kilometers in the Nalinhe region in Inner Mongolia.



The initial exploration area would be 600 square kilometers, the statement said.



It said the total investment for the project hasn't been determined.



Inner Mongolia is rich in coal reserves.



China Gas said in February it was studying the feasibility of coalbed methane exploration and distribution in China.

Hab mir mal den Chart angesehen.
Würd mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen.
Meine Handinnenflächen jucken nicht -heißt: kurzfristig kein Geld in Sicht.
Kenne natürlich die Fundamentaldaten noch nicht.
Vom Bauch her würd ich sagen, daß es langfristig was ist.

Ja, hab eben auch noch mal bei CC im Aktieninspektor nachgesehen.
Die geben sogar 37%/a Wachstumspotential an.
Hat mein Bauch also gestimmt.

Habs mal ausgedruckt und werd ein Auge drauf halten.

(Infocast News) China Gas Holdings (0384) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhongran Investment Limited, has recently signed a contract with Cangzhou Mingzhu Plastic Company Limited to form a new company in the Bohai New Area, Hebei Province to jointly invest, establish and operate a natural gas utilization project.

The project is the 60th city gas project secured by China Gas. The joint venture will have a registered capital of RMB10 million and be granted 30-year concession rights to supply piped-natural gas and operate compressed natural gas (CNG) car refilling station business in the Bohai New Area.

Zhongran Investment and Cangzhou Mingzhu Plastic will own 70% and 30% of the joint venture respectively. The Bohai New Area has a population of 750,000.

was erwartest du für einen kursverlauf bis dahin ??

also klar, wenn es wieder gewinnmitnahmen geben wird in HK dann verliert die china gas auch, aber ich meine jetzt unter stabilen voraussetzungen.
2 - 3 tage vorher wird der kurs doch schon anziehen oder ? da kaufen doch welche die "mehr" wissen oder ?

Die China Gas Holdings teilte heute mit, dass die Oman Oil Company ihren Aktienanteil von bisher 6,77 Prozent auf 7,66 Prozent aufgestockt hat. Dazu wurden durch die Oman Oil am 14. Mai 13,916 Mio. Shares zu einem Durchschnittspreis von 1,69 HKD vom freien Markt gekauft. Am 15. Mai folgte der nächste Kauf über 13,651 Mio. Shares zu einem Preis von 1,767 HKD pro Shares.
Weiter teilte China Gas mit, dass man sich derzeit in Gesprächen mit seinen strategischen Investoren befinde, um den Aufbau eines Joint Ventures voranzutreiben. Details dazu wurden nicht bekannt.
Erst vor drei Tagen hatte das chinesische Unternehmen den Aufbau eines Joint Ventures mit der südkoreanischen SK Group verkündet, EMFIS berichtete.
Die Aktie von China Gas erreichte im Vormittagshandel mit 2,01 HKD ein neues Hoch.

Mainland piped gas supplier China Gas Holdings (0384), which operates 57 city gas projects in 15 provinces, said it has won a bid for a project in a major industrial city.

Chief financial officer Eric Leung said the company is continuing negotiations with the city government on issues including gas pricing. More details will be announced in a week or two.

China Gas is keen to bid for similar projects in 28 other cities. Within the next three years, China Gas aims to widen the scope of franchised projects from 57 cities to between 75 and 80 cities.

Leung expects capital expenditure of HK$1.5 billion to HK$1.8 billion this year, and between HK$1.8 billion and HK$2 billon in the next fiscal year. The company's fiscal year ends in March.

As the number of projects increases, gas supply will surge from an annual 430 million cubic meters to one billion cu m in 2008, 1.8 billion cu m in 2009 and up to three billion cu m by 2010, Leung estimated.

Ich bin relatieiv Neu (beim posten zwar schon länger bei wallstreet-online) ich lese Eure Posting und komme zum Ergebniss, dass
China Gas Holdings eine langfristige investition ist (wie damals Petrochina, China Mobile ect.).
Es wird hier auf China Gas Holdings noch wenig gepostet, was sich in absehbarer Zeit ändern wird, wenn die stetig steigen wird.

Harbin Chongqing Gas Co. Ltd., in which China Gas Holdings has agreed to acquire a stake, is not included in the forecast for fiscal 2008, but the fiscal-2011 forecast has taken into consideration some 20 new gas projects that are under negotiation and likely to be acquired, Liu said.

China Gas Holdings sold 432 million cubic metres of piped gas in fiscal 2007, including 358 million cubic metres of piped natural gas. The company has to more than double the sales to achieve its target sales in fiscal 2008.

Harbin Chongqing Gas is the 62nd city gas project in mainland China the company has obtained.

Liu also said that the actual amount China Gas Holdings would invest for the coalbed methane gas project in Wushen Banner, Inner Mongolia is yet to be decided pending the completion of the related exploration."


Auf lange Sicht siehts wirklich sehr interessant aus,

China Gas Holdings (Chinagas)<384>, a Hong Kong-listed natural gas services operator, announced on Wednesday that the company's annual sales volume is likely to soar in 2011, attributed by its newly-acquired stakes in Harbin Chongqing Gas, and other ongoing acquisition plans.

In line with the firm's objective of developing and investing in China, China Gas announced on Monday, that the company has purchased 48% stakes in Harbin Chongqing Gas, worth RMB 477.3 million. The other majority shareholder, Daqing Oil Field Chong Gas Holdings, a unit of China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), holds 51% stakes.

The group's annual sales volume is looking to reach five billion cubic meters against the reported 357.7 cubic meters in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, as indicated by Liu Minghui, a managing director of China Gas, in a recent teleconference.

nun, ich bin vor Vielen Jahren bei Petrochina eingestigen, als die bei 0,14 waren, damals gab es auch kaum foren, posting (ich hatte damals noch den username rastapop), ich bin damals auch bei Cnooc, China Mobile, China Unicom und ein paar mehr eingestigen. Die haben sich alle schön entwickelt.

Zu China Gas:
Da bin ich Anfang 2005 rein (und habe "sie" erst mal liegen lassen) ab und zu ein wenig aufgestockt.
Im letzten Jahr (2006) fing sie sich an zu bewegen und seit mitte 07 nach oben.
Meiner ansicht nach, ist China Gas relativ unterbewertet und das Wachstum in dene nächsten 2 Jahren wird sich wie die oben erwähnten entwickeln.
Der Grosse Vorteil an China Gas, sie ist noch günstig, und wenige interessieren sich z.Zt. dafür (was sich aber bald ändern wird). Denn viele Chinesen gehen davon ab, mit Holz zu kochen u.Ä und steigen auf Gas um.
China Gas baut sein Gasgeschäft in China weiter aus und festigt seine Marktposition.

ja mit gazprom das hab ich auch schon gepostet, glaube ich.
gazprom sind zwar halunken, aber die machen ihr geld und die sind bestimmt auch an einem steigenden kurs bei china gas interessiert.
ich find nur komisch, dass auf der englischen sektion der seite keine neueren daten sind. die sind alle aus 2005.
wieso ist man bei der firma nicht interessiert auch die englisch sprachigen interessenten/investoren auf dem laufenden zu halten ??
das gibt mir ein wenig zu denken.

("IMW") from Canada signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") today committing to form a strategic partnership to develop compressed natural gas ("CNG") for natural gas vehicles ("NGV") both in the PRC and potential markets around the world.

The signing ceremony was held today in Hong Kong in the presence of prominent guests, including The Honourable Stockwell Day, PC, MP, Canadian Minister for International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, Doreen Steidle, Consul General of Canada in Hong Kong, Stephen S. Poloz, Senior Vice President-Financing and Winston Kan, Chief Representative Greater China for Export Development Canada.

Pursuant to the cooperation between China Gas and IMW, IMW and its wholly owned Chinese subsidiary, IMW Compressors (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., will provide China Gas with a series of products and services including high quality equipment and support services, related design, engineering and construction services, as well as technologies in association with CNG/NGV fueling stations in the PRC and even worldwide. As a preferred strategic supplier to China Gas, IMW will be supplying a minimum of 120 fully integrated CNG fueling stations for taxis and buses over the next three years. China Gas will also receive essential parts, management support, staff training and maintenance support from its partner. All these will be accessible at very competitive prices to China Gas for its future CNG vehicle fueling station projects. In addition, the two parties have reached consensus on cooperation issues including lowering of carbon emission, international market development and consultation. This strategic cooperation is in part the result of successful matchmaking by Export Development Canada, which is Canada's Export Credit Agency, having participated in previous financing to China Gas.

China Gas (HKG:0384) announced that its subsidiaries - Zhongran Gas, Zhejiang Zhongyou Hua Dian and Shanghai Zhongyou Energy - have agreed to undergo a group restructuring pursuant to which the registered capital of Shanghai Zhongyou Energy will be revised to RMB500 million ($568 million) from the present level of RMB600 million ($682 million).

After the group restructuring, Zhongran Gas will hold the entire equity interests in Shanghai Zhongyou Energy, which in turn will hold 83% equity interests in Zhejiang Zhongyou Hua Dian.

Zhongran Gas is an investment holding company whereas Zhejiang Zhongyou Hua Dian and Shanghai Zhongyou Energy are principally engaged in LPG business.

China Gas says that there will be no gain or loss accrued to it due to the transaction. The company further considers that the group restructuring would streamline the management and operation of the Zhejiang Zhongyou Hua Dian group, thereby achieving a better efficiency.

Reuters reported that Chinese natural gas distributor China Gas Holdings plans to make a general offer for mainland integrated gas operator Zhongyu Gas.

No other details were immediately available. Officials from both companies declined to comment.

China Gas which constructs and operates city gas pipeline infrastructure said in a statement earlier on Monday that trading in its shares was suspended pending a statement regarding a possible offer by the company for shares of an unidentified publicly listed company in Hong Kong.

Zhongyu Gas which is involved in gas resources development, pipeline network construction and piped gas distribution, said trading in its shares was halted pending an announcement in relation to the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
