VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TNR Gold Corp. ("TNR" or the "Company") (TSXV: TNR) is pleased to announce the assay results from the first hole of the drilling program at the Shotgun gold property in Alaska. Drill hole SR12-56 returned 242 metres averaging 1.25 grams per tonne gold including several higher-grade intercepts.

The 30-day exploration program included 814 metres of drilling and three geophysical survey grids.

Drill hole SR12-56 returns mineralized interval of 242.22 metres averaging 1.25 grams per tonne gold.
Included within this interval is 114.22m averaging 1.84 g/t Au.
Hole ended in mineralization at target depth of 293.22 metres.
Mineralized zones are open at depth and coincident with geophysical anomalies found in 2011.
Assays pending for two more holes.

Drilling Results
Diamond drill hole SR12-56 was oriented parallel and approximately 50m northwest of SR06-43 (previously reported containing 210 metres averaging 1.3 g/t Au). Three zones identified by more intense brecciation and increased gold grades correlate well between the two holes. These new results significantly reinforce confidence in the specific orientation of these southwest dipping mineralized higher-grade zones and how to target them with future drilling. In addition to testing for continuation of mineralized zones encountered in SR06-43, the new hole targeted an untested geophysical anomaly identified by the 3D geophysical survey in 2011. The strongest mineralization encountered in hole SR12-56 is coincident with where this geophysical anomaly was intersected. The hole ended in mineralization at target depth of 293.22m.............

Great close, was a no Brainer this morning, we should continue to see a nice rise in anticipation of the next few assays. It's been a great summer with gold, all started with GQC. Have seen some great intercepts this summer, let's hhope the next assays are just as good, it seems to be in a gold rich area so we could see similar results,

Most importantly, drilling continues to intersect significant intercepts of high to medium grade copper mineralization over long intervals west of the original deposit. Exploration Highlights

Drilling west of the resource has intersected high-grade copper mineralization in Hole 12114, returning 0.70% copper over 150 meters. This hole was located on the periphery of the resource and continues to extend what is becoming an important new parallel trend.

Hole 1297, which was drilled on the western edge of the resource, returned 0.50% copper over 414 meters, including 1.07% over 54 meters. In addition to Hole 12114, this hole helps demonstrate that there is excellent potential to increase the size of the resource.

Drilling below the previously known resource successfully extended the depth of the mineralization by over 300 meters in Hole 1295, returning 0.49% copper over 338.5 meters. This result was part of a longer intercept that went through two known zones of mineralization. The overall intercept from this hole was 0.51% copper over 618.5 meters.

in der tat verspricht 2016 auch für TNR sich zu einem WENDE- jahr entwickeln zu können.

LANGE zeit wurde spin off von lith.- tochter ILC kaum notiert - dies hat sich jedoch mit dem
akt. lith.- hype nachhaltig geändert und dürfte, nicht nur nach MEINER einschätzung, auch
noch weiter laufen.

gleich zum wochenauftakt gibt ILC erneut gas und überspringt mit leichtigkeit die 30ct- marke


RT inzwischen..........36ct und sahen im HOCH bereits 38ct.
