OSISKO INTERSECTS 30.6 g/t Au OVER 3.1 METRES AT WINDFALL(Montréal, June 16, 2016) Osisko Mining Inc. (OBM:TSX, "Osisko" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce new results from the ongoing drill program at its 100% owned Windfall Lake gold project located in Urban Township, Québec. The 55,000 metre drill program combines definition drilling above the Red Dog intrusion ("Red Dog") and expansion drilling above and below Red Dog.
Highlights from three new drill holes above Red Dog include: 30.6 g/t Au over 3.1 metres; 9.04 g/t Au over 5.8 metres; and 8.30 g/t Au over 3.0 metres in DDH OBM-16-656; and 178 g/t Au over 0.3 metres, 4.64 g/t Au over 10.2 metres and 7.34 g/t Au over 3.0 metres in DDH OBM-16-664. The new results continue to demonstrate lateral and vertical continuity of high grade gold mineralization in Zone 27 and the Caribou Zone. The table below outlines significant new results(1)(2):

ist mal über die 1300 gehüpft. Mal schaun, ob das nachhaltig ist. Bringt einigen Gold Explorern sicherlich einen Schub.Die Marban Studie ist an einen Goldpreis von 1250$ geknüpft. Die frühere Studie ist auf 1450$ basiert. Dass da einige Zonen "rasiert" wurden, ist kein Wunder. Generell wird sich die leichte Ernüchterung nach der Studie doch wieder Richtung "Realität" drehen und auch Oban wieder mit nach oben ziehen, wie gestern schon zu sehen.

The corporation has adopted the name Osisko Mining Inc., and will formalize its rebranding initiatives in the near future to reflect the evolution of the corporation since the beginning of 2015 as a result of its consolidation activities in Ontario and Quebec. The original Osisko Mining Corp. earned international recognition with the successes of its exploration and development team -- a team that included several current members of the corporation's board and senior management -- crowned by the discovery, development and operation of the Canadian Malartic mine in the Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec, until the joint acquisition of Osisko Mining Corp. in June, 2014, by Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. and Yamana Gold Inc. The corporation wishes to reintroduce the Osisko Mining name to the mining and investment communities to better reflect the corporation's current management, board and technical teams that were responsible for much of the success of the original Osisko Mining Corp., and the highly prospective mineral project portfolio in Quebec and Ontario that management believes will allow the corporation to continue the fulfilment both of the corporation's potential and its commitments to all of its stakeholders. At the annual and special meeting of shareholders of the corporation held on June 7, 2016, shareholders of the corporation representing approximately 98.99 per cent of the votes cast on the matter overwhelmingly approved the special resolution to change the name of the corporation from Oban Mining Corp. to Osisko Mining Inc.
Subject to Toronto Stock Exchange approval, it is expected that the common shares of the corporation will commence trading on the TSX under the corporation's new name and new stock symbol OSK at the opening of business on or about June 21, 2016. It is also expected that, subject to TSX approval, the common share purchase warrants of the corporation, which trade on the TSX under the symbol OBM.WT, will commence trading on the TSX under the new symbol OSK.WT at the opening of business on or about June 21, 2016.
