Wäre schon witzig, wenn sie tatsächlich den Durchbruch schaffen und irgendwann "nette" Erlöse erzielen. Da MGX Minerals, von der die jetzige Zinc8 abgespalten wurde, jetzt nur noch maximal ein Zock ist. Ob MGX Minerals noch immer Anteile an Zinc8 besitzt, weiß ich nicht.
Die Insiderkäufe sind zumindest definitiv ein gutes Zeichen, insbesondere wenn noch weitere folgen. Das würden die kaum machen, wenn die Tests und Entwicklungen scheiße laufen würden.

As I reported in a previous column, “Zinc8 developed ‘zinc-air regenerative fuel cell systems’ to store electricity.” The amount of power stored by the company’s systems can be increased without buying more fuel cells; Zinc8’s customers can raise their power capacity simply with a larger fuel tank, more “recharged zinc fuel,” and additional electricity.

In April, Zinc8 announced that one of the leading cloud providers “would test (the company’s) storage system” to determine if it can be utilized as a backup power source. The test is slated to be completed in March 2022, so a huge, positive catalyst could be coming up for ZAIRF stock in around four months.

Encouragingly, Zinc8 recently reported that it had moved its engineers to a new plant in British Columbia, Canada and that it was building “multiple test zinc-air energy storage systems” there.

I believe that the stock’s market capitalization of about $35 million far undervalues the company’s potential, given the high interest among tech and industrial companies, as well as governments, in clean, efficient electricity storage systems and the successes that the company has had already.

Die wenigsten Firmen sind vom ersten Tag an ein Einhorn. Daher hat die aktuelle Bewertung nur bedingt aussagekraft. Wenn sie tatsächlich die Probleme gelöst bekommen, die andere nicht gelöst bekamen, dann werden große Investoren einsteigen und die Bewertung entsprechend angepasst. Aber klar ist natürlich auch, dass die Möglichkeit besteht, dass sie niemals den Durchbruch schaffen und früher oder später in der Versenkung verschwinden.

...Das hat vermute ich auch entsprechende Gründe. Denn in den USA bekommen aussichtsreiche Erfindungen normalerweise auch schnell Kredite (in diesem Falle doch besonders von den Demokraten).
Aber Zink Luft Batterien gibt es schon seit dem zweiten Weltkrieg. Das Problem war bisher immer sie in den Griff zu bekommen ( Dichtigkeit) und Wiederaufladbarkeit.
Nun will ein Mini Unternehmen mit 20 Mio Dollar Marktkapitalisierung das Problem lösen? Da sind Zweifel angebracht...

Warum bin ich überhaupt hier drin? Die ersten Aktien hatte ich von der Ablösung von MGX Minerals bekommen ( einer meiner größten Anfängerfehler ). Ein paar hatte ich noch zum Spotpreis nachgekauft und beim nächsten Hype wird einfach verkauft..
