announced at the Nasdaq BioSummit Conference today the launch of LexVision (TM), a new program to
discover the functions of genes in the human genome for the development of new pharmaceutical agents.
The Company plans to use its gene sequence database and its bank of more than 75,000 mouse clones to
systematically discover and catalogue the functions of genes in living mammals, unlocking valuable
information from the human genome for drug discovery. Lexicon is prioritizing human genes for analysis and
expects LexVision to produce the world`s largest repository of gene function information derived from
knockout mice. Lexicon plans to commercialize the discoveries from its LexVision program through

potential drug targets. Families of genes encoding novel receptors, ion channels, proteases and kinases are
included as knockouts in the LexVision program. Genes in these categories are thought to be of the highest
potential commercial value, since most drugs work by interacting with protein targets encoded by such

Hi Tilla,

hast Du noch die mail gegen 15.20 Uhr über Lexicon Genetics bekommen? Hat mit 20$ geschlossen! Eröffnet also morgen um 21,50 - 22,50€. Über TCLN lohnt es sich wohl nicht zu reden. Kurzum, diese Aktie enttäuscht mich sehr, so richtig begründet ist der Rückgang nicht. Oder doch? Und wenn, erklär mir das einer.

Brauche deinen Rat bezüglich Lexicon Genetics. Ich bin neu im Geschäft und hatte Lexgen schon einmal. Nur war ich zu nervös und
habe zu schnell verkauft. Kann man jetzt noch einsteigen auf kurzfristige Sicht also noch Kurspotential drin oder ist die Luft allmählich
raus. Bitte um dein Kursziel in den nächsten zwei bis drei Wochen.

zuerst den chart


da diese Aktie noch ziemlich neu ist kann da alles passieren(siehe GPC!) LEXG hat jedoch
dieses neue Patent und darauf fahren derzeit die AMIS ab. War natürlich gewaltig was da
heute abgegangen ist.

wenn Du dir die letzten 10 Tage anschaust (ACHTUNG Chart wird immer aktualisiert!)



dann sieht es sauber aus.
Ich denke (es kann aber auch ganz anders kommen) morgen wird
LEXG noch einmal nach oben gehen. Wir hatten heute eine Spitze von 41.25 $ +45%
!!!!!
Schlusskurs bei 35 $. Ich würde morgen Abend abwarten. Nicht zwischen 15:30 und 19:00
Uhr kaufen !!!!!!!. Wenn der Kurs fällt, egal wie tief, dann z.B. bei 30-31$ kaufen (31-32 €).

Bei steigenden Kursen , nun dann ist es Glück. Ich gehe von einem Kurs in den nächsten 3
Wochen bis 45-50 $ aus. Der Wert ist halt neu !!!!. Kaufen und auch kurze Verluste
hinnehmen. Die AMIS machen die Deutschen immer nervös!!! rauf, runter, rauf .......

Keep cool!!!!
Am Ende des Jahres gehe ich von > 60$ aus. Ist aber mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Die Politik hat
sehr großen Einfluss auf die Bios!!! Blair , Clinton und Konsorten.


PS:
Das letzte Patent ist möglicherweise schon im Kurs drin. Ich würde einsteigen aber
entscheiden muss Du und ich will auch nicht pushen, das liegt mir nicht. Könnte ich e nicht weil die AMIS den Kurs machen.

Wie sieht das Ganze an den heimischen Börsen aus. Es werden zwar wenig Stücke gehandelt, richtet sich aber strikt an die
Amis der Kurs .....

Tja ! Habe schon mal (diesen Fehler gemacht) und in USA über DAB genau diese Aktie gekauft und war ein bißchen zu nervös.
Also bei 17,25 $ gekauft und bei 17,8125 $ wieder raus . Na ja, ich wußte nicht wieviel Gebühren ich bezahlen mußte (eigene
Schuld - habe mich vorher nicht schlau gemacht). Ist natürlich besser bei diesem Handelsvolumen in USA .
Aber ....... bin mir immer noch nicht sicher. Brauche mehr Infos über diese Aktie in deutsch !!!

Ich habe diese Aktie zu 19 Euro gekauft als diese nachricht über die Mausgene raus kamm. Kann schlecht English sprechen und habe deshalb das meiste nicht verstanden. Ich habe es gekauft, weil ich von der pschlogischen Effekt ausging. . Dies ist mein erster Biotechwert. So habe ich keine Ahnung, ob das was diese Firma macht zukunftsweisend ist. Eigentlich sollte es ein kurzfristiger Zock sein . Ich bin ziemlich überrascht über diese Kursentwicklung. Was meint ihr? Ist denn dieser Kursentwicklung nicht etwas übertrieben? Kann mir irgendjemand der mit Biotechaktien auskennt erklären, was die Produkte diese Firma genau sind?

Bei jedem, der insgesamt 60 000 Mäusen, ist ein Gen ausgeschaltet.

Forscher in aller Welt,können dann per Internet,die Tiere ordern,
und gegen Abschluß eines Lizenzvertrages-Gewinnbeteiligung bei Erfolg
etwa ,die Mäuse weiter verwenden.

warum schaut ihr Euch nicht auch mal ORCHID BIOSYSTEMS (WKN 935196) an.
Wurde am 29.6. auf der instock-Seite zusammen mit Lexicon Genetics und Sangamo Biosciences
als hot stocks mit großem kurzfristigen Kurspotential empfohlen. (Leider ist mir der ORCHID-Kurs
am FR davongerannt, überlege aber, bei der momentanen leichten Biotech-Schwäche noch reinzugehen).
Schaut Euch mal den Chart von ORCHID an!
Leider fand ich hier im board keinerlei Infos zu ORCHID. Wer weiß näheres???

Vielleicht war das eine kleine Reaktion auf die Meldung vom 12.07. .
Ich denke nächste Woche werden noch mehr Amerikaner auf diese Aktie aufmerksam
und der Kurs wird so seinen Weg nach oben machen !!!

Wissenschaftler der University of Massachusetts Medical School haben in Zusammenarbeit mit der Lexicon Genetics Incorporated die Funktion eines Gens entdeckt. Das Gen Ini-1 ist ein Tumor-Gen, das mit Kopf- und Halskrebs zusammenhängt.

Die Resultate wurden in der Zeitschrift Molecular and Cellular Biology veröffentlicht. Es wurde ein bei Mäusen Zusammenhang erkannt, zwischen dem Fehlen des Gens und der Krebs-Entstehung.

Zuvor war bei Menschen mit Krebs das Fehlen des Gens bemerkt worden. Ein ursächlicher Zusammenhang konnte nicht aufgezeigt werden.

Der Ini-1 Klon wurde durch eine Computer-Analyse von Gen-Sequenzen aus Lexicons OmniBank Bibliothek, die der Medikamenten-Entdeckung dient, ausgewählt.
