Nach dem Kursanstiig um fast 100% in diesem Jahr und 200% seit dem Tieftskurs ist für Realnetworks wohl erst mal ein Pause drin, insbesondere dann wenn der Neue Markt wieder konsolidiert. So bei 10-11 EUR sollte man aber wieder einsteigen, denn die Kooperation mit Sony wird sich positiv auswirken. Die Aktie war nach Bekanntgabe der Sony-Kooperation von 9 bis auf 15 EUR hochgeschnellt und heute auf 13,2 EUR konsolidiert. Bis Sommer/Herbst sollte die Aktie noch auf 20 EUR steigen; dann sollte man sich aber verabschieden, denn dann wird Microsoft Realnetworks an die Wand drücken. Microsoft wird im Herbst den Spielemarkt erobern. Die X-Box wird deutlich billiger als die Playstation 2 werden und es wird zusätzliche Apllikationen geben. Aber vielleicht macht Microsoft Realnetworks ein Übernahmeangebot. Dann muß man die Aktie haben. Es ist also viel Fantasie in der Aktie. Die 96$ wird man aber wohl nie wieder sehen. Bei unter 10 Euro werde ich groß einsteigen,weil ich wie du der Meinung bin das wir die 20 Euro die nächsten 6 Monate sehen werden.

RealNetworks plunges on rumors of AOL-Microsoft talks

SEATTLE, May 29 (Reuters) - RealNetworks Inc. (NasdaqNM:RNWK - news) shares plunged 19 percent on Tuesday amid
speculation that one of its biggest partners -- AOL Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news) -- was in talks with one of its biggest
rivals -- Microsoft Corp. (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) to use Internet audio and video software that competes with Real`s
products.

RealNetworks, which makes the popular RealPlayer software for playing audio and video broadcast over the
Internet or stored on a personal computer, fell $2.47, or 18.9 percent, to $10.62.

The decline was sparked by speculation that AOL was in discussions with Microsoft, Real`s main rival in
Internet media software, about using Microsoft technology within the America Online Internet service.

AOL and Microsoft have held talks recently about including AOL in the next version of Windows to be
released this fall after an earlier deal expired in January. Some observers have said use of Microsoft`s media
technology may be on the table as part of those talks.

``That was absolutely it,`` said Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Heath Terry, commenting on the reason behind
Real`s fall. ``I don`t even know if rumor is the right word. People are just looking at the environment, that this is
something that could happen.``

Last July, AOL struck a multi-year pact with Real to use Real`s audio and video technology throughout AOL`s network, which services more than 29 million
subscribers.

`GOOD PARTNERS`

Real and AOL declined to discuss specifics of the deal.

``RealNetworks is a good partner and we continue to look foward to working with them,`` an AOL spokesman said.

Real Chief Operating Officer Larry Jacobson said the pact was exclusive to Real initially but not for the entire length of the agreement.

Jacobson pointed to other recent announcements involving AOL as evidence of the strong ties between the two companies.

This month, both Real and AOL struck deals with Sony to provide Internet capabilities to its PlayStation 2 video game console. AOL is also backing Real`s
MusicNet project, a planned music subscription service that will use Real`s technology to deliver song over the Web.

``We`ve done nothing but widen and deepen our relationship with AOL. If you see our announcement regarding MusicNet ... that was a huge endorsement of our
already existing strategic relationship,`` Jacobson said.

CS First Boston analyst Terry said AOL had too much invested in Real`s technology to switch over now, but the stock fell anyway because of investor jitters in the
down economy.

``I don`t think anyone thinks that a real outcome. AOL has the RealNetworks system built pretty deep into its network,`` Terry said. ``The stock had traded up
significantly over the past two to three weeks on investors hoping the bad news was over, so today, any hint of bad news in this market is enough to knock it down.``
