time in the creation, submission and approval of travel plans and expense reports. Expense reports will be integrated with the Sabre

@ivo9, ich weiß zwar nicht wie lange du in Ariba schon investiert bist, aber laß dir den Gewinn nicht durch
das Finanzamt versauen, außerdem wird Ariba noch weiter abgehen, das ATH ist in greifbarer Nähe.....
Cool wäre für dich natürlich, wenn du C1 auch noch zusätzlich in dein Depot nehmen könntest, so verpaßt
du nämlich keinen hype, weder den von C1, noch von Ariba..............


@alle, bleibt drin.......das ist die Chance eures Lebens...........wenn ihr schon Gewinne sichern wollt, dann doch
eher mit einem stop loss (aber nicht zu eng setzen, denn ihr seht ja wie volatil die Aktien sind von C1 und
Ariba)

Ariba hab ich zu 78,- ....
mich ärgerts nur etwas , dass ich bei Commerce 1 geschlafen habe !
Habe nicht geglaubt,dass die nochmal so zurück kommt,dachte die starten nach den letzten Zahlen gleich durch..Gewinn nicht realisiert!

ich noch einmal und schnell, also einen Grund für den Anstieg habe ich nicht gefunden, aber ich denke, das
mußte einfach kommen, da in letzter Zeit so viel um Ariba passiert ist:

- Kooperation mit Sabre
- Einstufung als Outperformer von Investmentbank Robinson Humphrey
- Lucent wird Kunde von Ariba
- Ariba gründet Tochterfirma in Indien

Damit die ganzen wunderbaren Marktplätze brummen können, braucht es es Firmen wie Tibco und Webmethods. Wie Eure Meinung zur letztgenannten ?
Gebraucht wird business-to-business integration -Software (B2Bi) in diesen Fällen immer. Webmethods ist offenbar der Marktführer. Welche Risiken seht Ihr ? Webmethod kommt von über 300$ auf 100$ zurück (heute wieder - 6%).

Trucking firm online site choses Ariba and IBM

PLANO, Texas, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Transplace.com, created by six of the largest U.S.-based trucking firms, on Tuesday said it
selected IBM <IBM.N> and Ariba <ARBA.O> to provide the technology to drive the transportation online marketplace.

Ariba will provide the technology for browser-based auctions, reverse auctions, procurement services on the Internet, security,
payment and logistics services.

International Business Machines Corp.`s IBM Global Services will provide consulting services, Web hosting and systems integration
for Transplace.com`s procurement system. IBM also will manage the site at its Raleigh, N.C. Carolina hosting facility, the companies
said.

Transplace.com was created in March by Covenant Transport Inc.<CVTI.O>, J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. <JBHT.O>, M.S.
Carriers Inc.<MSCA.O>, Swift Transportation Co. Inc. <SWFT.O>, U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc.<XPRSA.O>, and Werner
Enterprises Inc.<WERN.O> to help improve efficiency and make better use of available shipping capacity. Shares of Ariba rose
nearly 6 percent, or 8, to 143 in early afternoon trading Tuesday and were among the top net gainers on the Nasdaq. Shares of IBM
rose more than 2 percent, or 2-9/16, to 118-11/16 and were among the top net gainers on the New York Stock Exchange.

The carriers said Transplace.com will give shippers and carriers efficiencies and cost savings from combined purchasing power on
items such as fuel, equipment, maintenance and repair parts, insurance, and other services. The three companies -- IBM,
Transplace.com, and Ariba-- have signed a memorandum of understanding and are finalizing additional design and implementation
agreements. Transplace.com said its electronic marketplace is expected to be operational by late fall.

Since its formation, Transplace.com`s procurement membership has grown to 1,500 carriers, representing 220,000 tractors, 800,000
trailers and millions of tires. The companies said they expect Transplace.com to generate $800 million in revenue over the next year.

Ich sehe die weitere Entwicklung von Ariba positiver und rechne mit einem Kurs von 250 Euro........
Sobald die Marktplätze etabliert sind und stärke Umsätze über diese stattfinden, werden die Transaktionsein-
nahmen für Ariba explodieren......

Aber egal ob 200 oder 250 Euro in 6 Monaten.......hauptsache Ariba steigt, und das werden sie auf alle Fälle...

Bin froh, dass ihr auch so positiv über Ariba denkt. Habe
inzwischen mit Ariba einige Tiefen mitgemacht (seit April).
Wollte aber nicht verkaufen. Nachdem ihr noch höhere Kurse
seht, bin ich froh, dringeblieben zu sein.
