Alaskische grüne Kraftstoffprojektaugen Indien und China
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      orginal Text:

Alaskan green fuel project eyes India and China
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Alaska’s Silverado Gold-Mines, Silverado Green Fuel, this week met with Chinese coal-mine and utility operators in the Heilongjiang Province, and held meetings with high-level executives of the Chinese Coal Ministry, in Beijing.

The parties expressed interest in forming a joint venture with Silverado to develop Silverado Green Fuel production plants.

Silverado reported that the company has also received a favourable response from India, where it visited Indian industry leaders in the past on several occasions.

Importing Silverado’s Green Fuel into India would offer a low-cost alternative to imported oil or gas, and a significant environmental improvement over the use of high-ash Indian bituminous coal.

The company is currently working with a number of organisations to develop funding for a small, five- to ten-MW Silverado Green Fuel-fired power generating plant in the State of Gujarat.

Silverado’s green fuel is designed primarily as a low-cost, nonhazardous alternative to petroleum-derived fuels used in oil-designed boilers. It will compete primarily in international oil markets in the Pacific Rim. To initially test Silverado’s green fuel, the company is seeking to identify mid-sized utility and industrial boiler owners, whose facilities have been adversely affected or were forced to close due to the high cost of oil.

Alaska’s Beluga coal-field, about 96 km south-west of Anchorage, is believed to be the world’s largest low sulphur coalfield, located on year-round open tidewater with over two-billion tons of proven reserves.

The application of hydrothermal treatment to coal from Alaska’s Beluga coalfield has already been demonstrated at a pilot plant scale showing that this coal can be converted into premium, stable liquid fuel with energy levels of over 7 000 Btu/lb on a cost-effective basis.

The next step in commercialising this technology will be to build and operate a commercial-scale demonstration plant to produce thousands of tons of this fuel, which prospective fuel buyers will require for independent testing in their own oil-designed boilers.

The site where Silverado’s green fuel demonstration plant can be built most rapidly and cost-effectively is Silverado’s idled gold recovery plant, at its Grant Mine, near Fairbanks, Alaska.

The Grant Mill, situated on the Grant Mine, currently contains much of the necessary equipment and ample space in the buildings to accommodate the remaining equipment. Silverado has already assembled sales and engineering teams to develop the demonstration project, and market Silverado’s green fuel and Silverado’s green fuel production and utilisation technology.

The company believes that the technology is capable of addressing large market opportunities in the Pacific Rim, as well as emerging markets in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and China.

      Silverado Gold Mines: Spekulativer Kauf
      14.07.2004 09:58:22

      OVERVIEW

We are engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in the State of Alaska. Our primary focus is the exploration of our Nolan Gold Project, located 175 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Our plan of operations is to continue with exploration activities at the Nolan Gold Project. These plans include exploration for both placer gold deposits and lode gold deposits at the Nolan Gold Project. Our exploration activities include lode drilling and trenching, geochemical and geophysical surveys, placer drilling, and bulk placer test mining work that we carry out as part of our exploration programs.

We are also seeking financing to enable us to proceed with the retrofitting and operation of our Grant Mill Facility as a demonstration facility to establish the combustion characteristics and marketability of low-rank coal-water fuel to be used as a replacement fuel in oil fired boilers and utility generators. There is no assurance that we will be able to obtain any financing for this project.

We hold interests in four groups of mineral properties in Alaska, as described below:

      1. our Nolan Gold Project;

      2. our Ester Dome Gold properties;

      3. our Hammond properties; and

      4. our Eagle Creek properties.

We are an exploration stage company. All of our properties are presently in the exploration stage. We do not have any commercially viable reserves on any of our properties. There is no assurance that a commercially viable mineral deposit exists on any of our mineral properties. Further exploration will be required before a final evaluation of the feasibility of commercial mining on any of our properties is determined. There is no assurance that further exploration will result in a final evaluation that determines a commercially viable mineral deposit exists on any of our mineral properties.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      PLAN OF OPERATIONS
Our plan of operation for the next twelve months is discussed below:

      The Nolan Gold Project

We plan to conduct further exploration at the Nolan Placer and Nolan Lode properties within the Nolan Gold Project. Our planned geological exploration program is described in detail in the section of our Annual Report on Form 10-KSB for the year ended November 30, 2004 entitled Description of Properties Nolan Gold Project. The objective of this geological exploration program is to further define both placer and lode gold occurrences in order to provide a basis for future exploration activities, including test mining activities, at the Nolan Gold Project. Our lode exploration work is intended to increase our geologic knowledge on the Solomon Shear Trend.

We plan to spend approximately $1,960,000 in the next twelve months in carrying out our exploration activities for the Nolan Gold Project. Of this amount, we anticipate approximately $1,300,000 will be spent on test mining activities, with the balance of $660,000 being spent on other exploration activities, including the phase one drilling program on the Marys Bench East deposit and continued exploration for lode gold occurrences along the Solomon Shear Trend. The actual amount that we spend on exploration will depend on the actual amount of funds that we have available for exploration. We are presently seeking sufficient financing to enable us to proceed with these plans and will require additional financing within the next three months in order to proceed with our exploration plans, including winter test mining and gravel processing for gold recovery during the summer of 2006. We will not process any gravel for gold recovery during the summer of 2005. There is no assurance that we will secure the necessary financing to proceed with those plans. While the costs of exploration and test mining may be off-set by recoveries from sales of gold that we may achieve these recoveries may not exceed the costs of our exploration programs including our test mining activities. Further, there is no assurance at this time that we will achieve any recoveries from sales of gold. See the discussion of our cash resources and working capital under Liquidity and Financial Condition below and in the section entitled Risk Factors below.

Our plan of operations at the Nolan Gold Project will be continually evaluated and modified as exploration and gold recovery results become available. Modifications to our plans will be based on many factors, including: results of exploration, assessment of data, weather conditions, exploration costs, the price of gold and available capital. Further, the extent of our exploration programs that we undertake will be dependent upon the amount of financing available to us.

We do not have any commercially viable reserves on any of our properties that comprise the Nolan Gold Project or any of our other properties. We plan to carry out exploration activities on the Nolan Gold Project that are referred to as test mining activities. The objectives of the test mining activities on the Nolan Gold Project are to expand our knowledge on bulk extraction costs and methods, continue development of geological data of the placer deposits on the Nolan Gold Project and to recover gold from test mining activities in order to recover a portion of the expense associated with exploration of the Nolan Gold Project. As we have not established commercially viable reserves on the Nolan Gold Project, there is no assurance that any recoveries of gold from test mining activities will be sufficient to pay for the full cost of exploration. There is no assurance that our test mining activities will result in a final evaluation that a commercially viable mineral deposit exists on any of our mineral properties that comprise the Nolan Gold Project.

      Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Project

We anticipate spending approximately $300,000 during the current fiscal year on our work to seek funding from government and private sources in connection with establishment of the demonstration facility at the Grant Mill. There is no assurance that any financing will be obtained from either government or private sources to fund this project.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      RESULTS OF OPERATIONS
Six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to the six months ended May 31, 2004.

      Revenues

We did not earn revenues during the six months ended May 31, 2005 or May 31, 2004 as we did not reach commercial production of gold from the Nolan Gold Project during either of these periods. Under our accounting policies, any sales of gold recovered as a result of our exploration activities that may be realized will be treated as sales received incidental to exploration activities on the Nolan Gold Project until such time as we have reached commercial levels of gold production from the Nolan Gold Project.

We anticipate that we will not realize revenues during the current fiscal year from the low-rank coal-water fuel component of our plan of operations. We will not be able to realize revenues from this business until we are able to proceed with the construction and operation of a commercial-scale demonstration facility for the low-rank coal-water fuel technology. There is no assurance that we will be able to secure the financing necessary to proceed with construction of this demonstration facility or that the demonstration facility will prove the commercial viability of the process.

      Expenses

Our expenses decreased to $1,874,076 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $2,555,128 for the six months ended May 31, 2004, representing a decrease of $681,052 or 27%. Our expenses decreased to $700,492 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $913,252 for the three months ended May 31, 2004 representing a decrease of $212,760 or 23%. The decrease in expenses were primarily attributable to reductions in exploration expenses during the six months ended May 31, 2005 as a result of our having less funds with which to pursue exploration. Expenses associated with consulting fees and management services also declined as a result of our decreased activity. Decreases on these expenditures were in-part off-set by increases in accounting and audit, legal, financing, advertising and promotion and research expenses.

Our decreased exploration activity on our mineral properties resulted in a reduction of our general exploration expenses to $299,597 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $1,063,362 for the six months ended May 31, 2004. General exploration expenses decreased to $143,345 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $274,318 for the three months ended May 31, 2004. The decrease in exploration expenses during the six months of our current fiscal year was attributable to decreased exploration activities at the Nolan Gold Project compared to 2004 when activities were directed to gold recovery operations at the Nolan Deep Channel. These exploration activities included drilling and exploration activities on the Nolan Deep Channel, Marys Bench, and Treasure Chest areas. We anticipate that our exploration expenses will increase as we proceed with our planned drilling and exploration activities on the Nolan Gold properties, subject to our achieving the necessary financing. During the six months ended May 31, 2005 we sold 45 troy ounces of gold for proceeds of $19,263 which have been directly applied as a reduction to exploration costs in accordance with our accounting policies.

Research activities attributable to the low-rank coal-water fuel technology increased to $64,899 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $27,000 for the six months ended May 31, 2004. These expenses increased to $43,531 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 from $27,000 for the three months ended May 31, 2004. Our research activities are primarily in connection with the submission of our application for a grant to the Department of Energy and include the compensation of Dr. Warrack Willson.

Office expenses decreased to $228,259 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $232,203 for the six months ended May 31, 2004, representing a decrease of $3,944 or 2%. Office expenses increased to $122,547 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $114,021 for the three months ended May 31, 2004, representing an increase of $8,526 or 8%. The overall decrease during the six months of our current fiscal year reflect a decrease in our general office operating costs and activity in our offices in Fairbanks, Alaska due to the reduced exploration activities during the first half of our current fiscal year.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Management services expenses decreased to $288,611 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $324,375 for the six months ended May 31, 2004, representing a decrease of $35,674 or 11%. Management services expenses decreased to $137,268 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $150,116 for the three months ended May 31, 2004. Consulting fees decreased to $324,161 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $498,725 for the six months ended May 31, 2004, representing a decrease of $174,564 or 35%. These fees decreased to $58,624 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $127,496 for the three months ended May 31, 2004. Consulting fees are attributable to stock based compensation paid to our consultants during the year. Compensation was recorded based on the quoted market price of our shares as of the date of issue. Decreases in management services and consulting expenses reflected our decreased activity in the first six months of 2005 compared to the first six months of 2004.
      Loss

Our loss and comprehensive loss decreased to $1,940,919 for the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $2,601,202 for the six months ended May 31, 2004 representing a decrease of $660,283 or 25%. Our loss and comprehensive loss decreased to $720,132 for the three months ended May 31, 2005 compared to $939,050 for the three months ended May 31, 2004. These decreases in our loss were primarily attributable to reduced exploration and consulting expenses during the six months ended May 31, 2005. We anticipate that we will continue to incur a loss until such time as we can achieve commercial production from the Nolan Gold Project, of which there is no assurance.

      LIQUIDITY AND FINANCIAL CONDITION

      Cash and Working Capital

We had cash and cash equivalents of $75,358 as of May 31, 2005, compared to cash of $12,828 as of November 30, 2004. We had a working capital deficiency of $762,463 as of May 31, 2005, compared to a working capital deficiency of $648,023 as of November 30, 2004. The increase in our working capital deficiency was primarily the result of fewer financings and continued expenses during the six months ended May 31, 2005.

We will require additional financing during the current fiscal year due to our current working capital deficiency, our plan of operations for the Nolan Gold Project, our planned exploration activities and our plan to continue to pursue financing through U.S. and state government programs and initiatives and through private sources. We plan to spend approximately $1,960,000 in the next twelve months in carrying out our exploration activities for the Nolan Gold Project. We anticipate spending approximately $300,000 during the next twelve months on our work to seek funding in connection with establishment of the demonstration facility at the Grant Mill. We presently do not have sufficient financing to enable us to proceed with these plans and will require additional financing within the next three months if we are able to proceed with our exploration plans, including test mining activities during the winter of 2005/2006 and process gravel for gold recovery during the summer of 2006. Our actual expenditures on these activities will depend on the actual amount of funds that we have available as a result of our financing efforts. There is no assurance that we will be able to raise the necessary financing. See Risk Factors.

      Cash Used in Operating Activities

Cash used in operating activities decreased to $935,106 for the six months ended May 31, 2005, compared to $2,177,302 for the six months ended May 31, 2004, predominantly as a result of our reduced exploration activity. We funded the cash used in operating activities primarily through equity sales of our common shares.

      Investing Activities

Cash provided by investing activities increased to $147,520 during the six months ended May 31, 2005 compared to cash used in investing activities of $1,615 during the six months ended May 31, 2004, representing an increase of $149,135. The increase was due to sale of mining equipment.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Financing Activities
Cash provided by financing activities decreased to $850,116 for the six months ended May 31, 2005, compared to $2,136,112 for the six months ended May 31, 2004. Cash provided by financing activities was primarily attributable to share issuances. Cash provided by financing activities was used to fund our operating and investing activities. Equity financings were completed with private purchasers at prices that were reflective of the market price of our common shares as of the date of the financing.

We anticipate continuing to rely on equity sales of our common shares in order to continue to fund our business operations. Issuances of additional shares will result in dilution to our existing shareholders.

      Capital Leases

On October 11, 2002, we entered into a lease purchase agreement whereby we would purchase three dump trucks, an underground loader, two surface loaders, and other equipment valued at a total of $1,496,150. The agreement required payment upon signing of $550,000 (paid), $100,000 on or before December 1, 2003 (paid) and 24 equal payments thereafter for the balance of the purchase price plus interest at a rate of 12% per annum.

On February 14, 2003, we entered into a three year lease agreement whereby we would purchase mining equipment valued at $250,170. The agreement required a payment on signing of $105,000 (paid), $25,000 on or before December 4, 2003 and 24 equal payments for the balance of the purchase price plus interest at a rate of 12% per annum.

On January 28, 2004 the agreements for the above two leases were modified into one agreement. The modified agreement required us to make a one-time payment of $50,000 on acceptance of the agreement and a fixed amount per month specified in the agreement in the following six months. At the same time of accepting the revised agreement, we returned three pieces of equipment under the original capital lease agreement to the lessor as a credit towards the lease liability.

During the year ended November 30, 2004, we entered into an agreement to combine the two lease agreements. The new agreement required payment upon signing of $50,000 (paid), monthly payments of $25,000 to December 2004 and $48,851 thereafter until July 2006 for the balance of principal plus interest at a rate of 7.5% per annum.

As at May 31, 2005, the total amount outstanding under the revised lease purchase agreements was $884,028, including interest of $85,428. We are required to maintain the equipment in good working order and are also required to maintain adequate insurance on the equipment. We are required to complete future lease payments of $391,556 during the 2005 fiscal year and $492,472 during the 2006 fiscal year.

      Tri-Con Group

We had pre-paid $457,421 to the Tri-Con Group as of May 31, 2005 in connection with planned exploration activities to be carried out on the Nolan Gold Project during fiscal 2005. These activities will be carried out by the Tri-Con Group on behalf of us in accordance with our operating agreements with the Tri-Con Group. See Item 12 Certain Relationships and Related Transactions of our Annual Report on Form 10-KSB for the year ended November 30, 2004 further disclosure regarding our operating agreements with the Tri-Con Group.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Debt
The amount of our convertible debt outstanding was $176,652 as of May 31, 2005. All of this amount is current. Included in this amount is a convertible debenture in the amount of $140,000 which is in default and has accrued interest of $84,418. It is unclear as to whether this amount will ever be converted into common shares. There is no agreement to exchange this amount of remaining original convertible debentures into replacement debentures.

As of November 30, 2004, we had repaid in full all previously outstanding convertible debentures that we had renegotiated as of March 1, 2001.

      Mineral Properties

As of May 31, 2005, we were in arrears of required mineral property claims and option payments of $320,000 in respect of our Hammond Property and therefore the rights to the property were adversely affected. However, we are currently in the process of re-negotiating the terms and conditions of the Agreement with the property owner. The property owner has confirmed that our mineral claims and options are in good standing on the understanding we will use our best efforts to pay the minimum royalty payments, including the payments that are in arrears for the past four years, when business conditions permit. There is however no assurance that we will be able to re-negotiate this agreement.

      Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Business

In order to proceed with establishing the commercial viability of our low-rank coal-water fuel business, we are currently seeking financing from the U.S. Government and from private sources to achieve the full $20,000,000 funding for this project. There is no assurance that we will be awarded any grant or private funding or that we will be able to complete any additional sales of our equity securities or arrange for debt or other financing to fund this component of our plan of operations.

      Future Financings

We require additional financings in order to fund our plan of operations. We anticipate continuing to rely on equity sales of our common shares in order to continue to fund our business operations. Issuances of additional shares will result in dilution to our existing shareholders. There is no assurance that we will achieve any additional sales of our equity securities or arrange for debt or other financing to fund our planned exploration activities, including test mining activities.

      Restatement

Our consolidated financial statements for the years ended November 30, 2003 and 2002 have been restated to give effect to (i) the write-off of exploration and mineral property costs previously capitalized, (ii) the write down of equipment relating to our Grant mine mill, (iii) to correct a computation error in the amount of asset retirement obligations, and (vi) to correct an error in recording the effect of the issuance of shares of common stock issued at a 20% discount to debenture holders upon repayment of amounts due by way of stock issued instead of cash. Please refer to Note 17 of our audited financial statements for the years ended November 30, 2003 and 2002 included with our second amended Form 10-KSB for the year ended November 30, 2003 for a summary of the impact of this restatement on our results of operations for 2003. Please refer to Note 8 of our interim financial statements for the six months ended May 31, 2005 for a summary of the impact of this restatement on our results of operations for that period.

      Going Concern

Our financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, which assumes the realization of assets and settlement of liabilities in the normal course of business. Our ability to continue as a going concern is dependent upon our ability to generate profitable operations in the future and/ or to obtain the necessary

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
financing to meet our obligations and repay our liabilities arising from normal business operations when they become due. The outcome of these matters cannot be predicted with any certainty at this time and raise substantial doubt that we will be able to continue as a going concern. Our financial statements do not include any adjustments to the amount and classification of assets and liabilities that may be necessary should we be unable to continue as a going concern.
We plan to continue raising capital through private placements and warrant issues, although there is no assurance that any additional private placement financings will be achieved. In addition, we are exploring other business opportunities including the development of low-rank coal-water fuel as replacement fuel for oil fired industrial boilers and utility generators.

      CRITICAL ACCOUNTING POLICIES

      Exploration Stage Company

The Securities and Exchange Commissions Exchange Act Guide 7 Description of Property by Issuers Engaged or to be Engaged in Significant Mining Operations requires that mining companies in the exploration stage should not refer to themselves as development stage companies in their financial statements, even though such companies should comply with Financial Accounting Board Statement No. 7, if applicable. We are an exploration stage company under the SECs Guide 7 and accordingly, we have not been referred to as a development stage company in our financial statements. Accumulated results of operations are presented from December 1, 2001, the date we re-entered the exploration stage.

Mineral claim payments and exploration costs

We expense all costs related to the acquisition, maintenance and exploration of mineral claims in which we have secured exploration rights prior to establishment of proven and probable reserves. To date, we have not established the commercial feasibility of our exploration prospects, therefore, all costs are being expensed.

      Asset retirement obligation

Effective December 1, 2002, we adopted SFAS 143, Accounting for Asset Retirement Obligations, which addresses financial accounting and reporting for obligations associated with the retirement of tangible long-lived assets and the associated retirement costs. The standard applies to legal obligations associated with the retirement of long-lived assets that result from the acquisition, construction, development and normal use of the asset.

SFAS No. 143 requires that the fair value of a liability for an asset retirement obligation be recognized in the period in which it is incurred if a reasonable estimate of fair value can be made. The fair value of the liability is added to the carrying amount of the associated asset and this additional carrying amount is depreciated over the life of the asset. The liability is accreted at the end of each period through charges to operating expense. If the obligation is settled for other than the carrying amount of the liability, we will recognize a gain or loss on settlement.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Stock Based Compensation
Effective November 1, 2002, we adopted the fair value recognition provisions of FASB Statement No. 123, Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation. Under the modified prospective method of adoption selected by us under the provisions of FASB Statement No. 148, Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation Transition and Disclosure, compensation cost recognized in 2003 is the same as that which would have been recognized had the recognition provisions of Statement 123 been applied from its original effective date. Results for prior years have not been restated. The value of shares issued to non-employees for services is based on the quoted market price of our shares as of the date of issue.

      RISK FACTORS

We face risks in completing our exploration plans and achieving revenues. The following risks are material risks that we face. We also face the risks . . .

Silverado plans to commence an open cut test mining project at the
Nolan Gold Property during October of this year. The project is located
280 road miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska and is accessible year round
and self-sustained for 35 people. The project would begin with a short
drilling program which would assist prior drill data in defining the
limits of the excavation as well as confirming additional gold which is
geologically indicated within the immediate area. Economics indicate
that costs for completing the 2005/06 winter mining project, including
washing the mined gravel stockpiled during the summer of 2006 will be
offset by the recovery of an expected 2,000 plus ounces of placer gold,
with a gross value of US$1.2 to $1.5 million.

The company expects to stockpile about 78,000 bank cubic yards of
gravel during the winter, with operations winding down by March of
2006. Sluicing of the stockpiled gravel will begin during June of 2006,
and be completed by the end of July, 2006.

The company has most of the necessary equipment and camp already at the
project site, including a 35-man camp, loaders, dump trucks, excavator,
dozer, and wash plant. All personnel are experienced miners and
engineers who have already worked on other aspects of the project and
are familiar with the area and well versed in Arctic operations.

One of the driving forces in the decision to go ahead is the scarcity
of newly mined placer gold in Alaska. Jewelry demand currently outpaces
supply and gold nugget demand continues to grow while supply continues
to shrink. Nolan is well known for it`s quality gold nuggets, averaging
22+ carats pure, with wonderful intrinsic character (24 carat gold is
      pure).

The current resource of 2000+ ounces was calculated by an independent
Professional Engineer and this work was supervised by, as well as the
engineering studies for mining and recovery performed by, Edward J.
Armstrong, Professional Geologist. Both individuals are "qualified
persons", under Canadian Policy NI 43-101.

President Bush Signs Massive Energy Bill - Includes Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Project Authorization
Tuesday August 9, 9:30 am ET
SILVERADO GOLD MINES LTD. OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt: SLGL / Berlin: SLGL

VANCOUVER, BC and FAIRBANKS, AK, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Yesterday President Bush signed the sweeping Energy Policy Act of 2005. The 1,725 page bill affects virtually every aspect of energy production in the United States.

Silverado Gold Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Energy Policy Act of 2005 includes language that specifically authorizes the Secretary of Energy to "conduct a program of technology ...demonstration and commercial application for coal and power systems, including programs to facilitate production and generation of coal-based power through...liquid fuels derived from low rank coal water." This language authorizes the United States government to partner with Silverado in their Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Demonstration Project.

"Receiving a federal grant is a two step process - first, being authorized and second, having funds appropriated. We have passed the first hurdle in obtaining a government grant. We are very excited about `Low Rank Coal Water Fuel` being included as a practical fuel source in this long- awaited energy bill. It is significant that the federal government recognizes the validity of LRCWF as one of the solutions to America`s energy needs," said Garry Anselmo, CEO of Silverado Gold Mines Ltd. "We know this fuel works, and look forward to demonstrating the commercial applications of LRCWF," he said.

Silverado Gold Mines Ltd.`s wholly-owned subsidiary Silverado Green Fuel Inc., an Alaska Corporation, is continuing to work with the United States government to receive an appropriation for the LRCWF Demonstration Project. This grant will allow the project to get underway.

Silverado Gold Mines: Green Fuel im neuen US-Energiegesetz authorisiert

      Präsident Bush erlässt Energie-Gesetz 2005
      Silverados Green Fuel offiziell anerkannt

      9. August 2005, Vancouver, BC, Kanada / Fairbanks , Alaska, USA
SILVERADO GOLD MINES LTD. OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt: SLGL / Berlin: SLGL

unterschrieben.

      erreichen.

Silverados 100%ige Tochtergesellschaft Silverado Green Fuel Inc. arbeitet
Ölersatz in industriellen Anwendungen dient.

WSR: The company has some intriguing projects in Alaska. What kind of drill results are you getting on the St. Paul play and how are the pre-feasibility studies progressing?

SLGLF: The drill results we are posting right now are results of past years as we are reassessing the property. They are very good results. We have many holes of grades over an ounce a ton, over significant widths, that we mined underground years ago and our average mill head feed was a third of an ounce per ton. At that time we produced and sold approximately $10 million in gold bars on test work. Open pit mining is about 0.1 ounce a ton, and again, we were quite successful with that work. But we shut down in 1989 with the low gold prices and now we’re taking a look at reopening.

WSR: Could you describe the potential you see on these projects and the infrastructure in place to date?

SLGLF: The potential is big. Ester Dome has a recorded four million ounces of gold taken from its drainages. Most of these areas point to our hard rock property areas. We’ve spent about $60 million over 30 years in testing Ester Dome. We also have good gold property in Alaska’s Arctic Circle called “Nolan”, where we produce gold nuggets on a test-mining basis. Some $10 million in gold nuggets have been sold from that project. We drilled about 400 holes there a year ago and there are about 4,000 ounces that we can retrieve from there after this winter. We also have identified the source of the gold -- a very large zone, five miles long. All drainages have gold in them and we’re looking forward to completing our studies of recent drill and trench data and getting back to the program. Every time we trench or drill we hit gold, so prospects are excellent.

WSR: Looking at the company subsidiary, Silverado Green Fuel Inc. Bring us up to speed on that project.

SLGLF: We are in the funding process. We worked through the Department of Energy but they advised us that a partner in a utility company would be a necessity to approve funding. This time we’ve applied for funds under the appropriations committee in the senate and congress and they’re sitting to the energy bill now. It appears we are doing well but it’s going to be about another two months before the complete subcommittee and full committee processes are over. We are also looking to private financing and certain interests have indicated they want to go forward and build a commercial facility.

WSR: How important are these strategic partnerships and alliances for the company moving forward?

SLGLF: Very important from the fuel perspective. The fuel is a replacement product for oil burning in industrial heat and electricity creation. It competes with oil at about $14 a barrel, it’s environmentally sound, safe and it is really something that the world is coming towards now. With oil prices today at $60 per barrel, its unlikely we will see $20 oil again. So I think the timing for this fuel is right and we’re on top of it. We have the scientist on staff who did most of the work to create this fuel and we are looking forward to proceeding with this project.

WSR: Any thoughts on additional acquisitions in the near term?

SLGLF: Yes. We have access to a very large silver property in Alaska and I think silver is going to possibly outstrip and outperform gold in the near and mid term. Gold seems to be in a bit of a slump yet, a slow climb. I don’t think it will really move until maybe a year’s time. But for gold to double is a big move. For silver to double from $7 to $14 is not so dramatic. We could see silver appreciate much faster. So we have our eye on the property for these reasons.

WSR: What is unique about Silverado, what defines and differentiates this company?

SLGLF: We are a group of geologists and engineers that started in the business similarly to myself. At the age of 17, I began working with Kennecott, Anaconda and AMEX at 250 dollars a month, 14 miles a day, 30 days a month. After university we rolled up our sleeves and said, “let’s do it ourselves”. We got hold of an old company, reorganized it, and that company is Silverado today. So we do all our own work, we build everything ourselves. The company owns its properties. At this stage in the company the entire infrastructure is in place and paid for. We’ve done our test work; we’ve been through the learning curve. We produced near $20 million in gold and sold it successfully. We own our properties outright and when I say infrastructure is in place at Nolan, that’s a 35-man camp with all heavy equipment and dams and settling ponds and roads. The government works closely with us, permitting is an easy process, we are environmental leaders in the state and the same is true down at Fairbanks on our Ester Dome property, 200 miles south of Nolan. Our facilities are in place there as well and paid for and it’s just a matter of the right gold prices now and some additional drilling and we can consider re-opening.

WSR: What can you tell us about the key players on board at Silverado Gold Mines?

SLGLF: If you mean our board of directors, one is a lawyer who’s been with the company about 14 years. The other is a retired Safeway district manager who brings good business aspect to the company. He’s been with us for about 7 years. I started Silverado in 1972. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary in Alaska consists of officers, professional geologists, engineers and administration people with considerable experience in their disciplines. So we cover the gamut and we have our own miners and heavy equipment operators. We do everything in-house with a good group of people who are all after the same thing and that is to succeed at making mines. Gold production is in our blood.

WSR: Do you feel the investment community understands this company and the potential here given the current stock price?

SLGLF: No. As of January 21, 2003, we’ve been hit very heavy with naked shorting. Professional traders hit our market with 57 million shares in three days, which knocked our price down significantly and they’ve kept it down here for this last two years, it’s at a nickel. It’s happened to us before. We do eventually recover and I think we’re close to that now. It makes a great entry level for a buying opportunity but it is very hard on the company. It betrays the real value of our gold in the ground and the fuel that we’re so close to bringing on stream, which are quite significant projects and really can advance this company quickly and affect its price quickly. But until the price begins to climb again these values do not show and I think people become confused by such market activity. As I say however, we’ve been through this before and our recoveries have always been strong.

WSR: Is the company making effort in that regard to get the message out there and show the investors your potential?

SLGLF: We are. Especially now. We have a new concept in the company of reaching out to people, spending more time on the phones with people that take the time to phone in and talk with us and getting our press releases up and out more frequently. We’ve been through a one-year quiet period as well, which makes it very difficult to get the message to people as we’ve had to adjust our company’s reserves and resources according to the new Canadian laws, which have caused us to adjust our financial statements. When you drop from reserves to resources you can no longer capitalize your prior expenditures and we had to expense them and it caused the re-stating and subsequent reissuing of our 2002, ’03 and ’04 financials. This work took one year, three accountants, two lawyers, and $100,000 to complete but it is now behind us.

WSR: So despite the speed bump the company is moving on. In closing here, recap a bit and tell us why investors should consider Silverado Gold Mines as a long-term investment opportunity?

SLGLF: We’ve got 33 years of building under our belt. We’re built and we’ve produced gold successfully. We have a new fuel coming to market. We are close to a point now where our investors can reap the benefits of these many years of work. It is certainly our goal to see to the completion of these projects, and the subsequent rewards that will flow to our valued shareholders.

United States Congress Passes Continuing Resolution To Keep Government Operating

      October 6, 2005 - Fairbanks , Alaska – USA - Vancouver, BC – Canada

Last Friday, September 30 the United States Congress passed, and President Bush signed House Joint Resolution 68 which provided the Government with the funding necessary to continue operating. The 2006 fiscal year begins on October 1. If the resolution had not passed, the government would have been left without Congressionally approved funding for most of its programs.

Many of the appropriation bills, including the energy and water development appropriations, have not yet been sent to the U.S. House and Senate for a final vote. They are still being worked on in House-Senate conference committees to iron out any differences between the versions passed by the two legislative bodies.

"If you look at the recent history of the Congressional appropriations process, more often than not, Congress is forced to pass a continuing resolution because they haven`t completed the 13 appropriation bills necessary to keep the government running," said Garry Anslemo, CEO and President of Silverado Gold Mines Ltd. "We are still working with federal, as well as state and local officials who support the LRCWF Demonstration Project and are looking at several different funding options -- including the stalled appropriation process in Congress. We remain confident about the funding opportunities and are excited about getting this project underway as the first step in providing commercial quantities of LRCWF."

The continuing resolution is set to expire on November 18, 2005. If the appropriation bills remain unpassed, Congress can either pass another continuing resolution in the hope that they will be able to pass the remaining appropriation bills prior to adjourning for the year. Or, Congress can combine all outstanding appropriation bills into a larger bill called "The Omnibus Package". The omnibus package would contain all appropriations not already passed and would be the final vote in funding government projects for fiscal year 2006.

SILVERADO GREEN FUEL INC. CHAIRMAN AND CEO, GARRY ANSELMO
MEETS WITH U.S. CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS, VISITS WHITE HOUSE

      WASHINGTON, D.C. – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14 - 2005

      SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt : SLGL / Berlin : SLGL

Today Garry Anselmo, CEO and Chairman of Silverado Green Fuel Inc., met with several U.S. Congressional leaders to discuss the future of Silverado’s Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Project. Anselmo began the day by meeting with a key aide to Congressman Pombo, Chairman of the House Resources Committee. They discussed America’s need for alternative fuel sources, and the significant advantages that Silverado Green Fuel’s Hydrothermal Treatment has over other processes.

The afternoon was spent on Capitol Hill meeting with key Congressmen and their senior aides. These Members of Congress hold important positions on both the House Energy Committee and the House Appropriations Committee. The focus of the meetings was to direct attention to the national implications of a domestically produced fuel, expediting the construction of several LRCWF demonstration plants, and the inclusion of such coal-to-liquid fuel as a part of America’s National Energy Policy. Another key point of discussion was the use of LRCWF as a source of fuel for the nation’s military needs.

The final meeting was a courtesy visit to Senator Thad Cochran’s office to thank his staff for their work in appropriating the funding for the Denali Commission.

“I am extremely pleased with not only the number of meetings I had today, but especially with the quality of these meetings,” Anselmo stated. “These Members of Congress – Members who will have a great deal of oversight on our projects – are very knowledgeable about the Silverado Green Fuel process. They and their aides have a firm grasp of the energy needs of the country and are determined to remedy the enormous problem. I am grateful that they see LRCWF as playing a key role in a complex solution to the problem by utilizing the vast under-developed resources of high-water content coal. We enthusiastically look forward to implementing their ideas and proposals brought up during these important meetings,” Anselmo concluded.

Mr. Anselmo was also invited to attend a special event and Christmas Tour of the White House which will take place Thursday morning. Following that White House event and reception, he will head back to Capitol Hill where he will continue meeting with key Congressmen and Senators. The day’s schedule also includes a visit to Senator Lisa Murkowski where Mr. Anselmo intends to thank the Senator for her continued support for the LRCWF project in Alaska.

In a related event, last Thursday two executives with Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. met with new members of the Denali Commission to discuss the next step in funding the LRCWF project at the Grant Mill site. Roger Burggraf and Dr. Warrack Willson, developer of the LRCWF process, met with the Federal and State Co-Chairmen, as well as others from the Commission. They addressed the positive economic benefits to Alaska’s native population as well as the state and national focus on a process designed to alleviate America’s energy crises. Of that meeting Anselmo commented, “I am privileged to have people of the quality of Roger and Warrack on board the Silverado team. I am excited about moving forward with the Denali Commission, and am looking towards the next step to get the LRCWF Demonstration project up and running in Alaska so that we can begin implementing our plans for commercial development.”

Silverado Gold Mines Ltd., 5 cents per share is the best Gold and Alternative Energy buy for the money available on any market as of 12/9/05! It looks like the funding for their green fuel project is starting to come together and they’re also cranking up their gold mine in Alaska. BUT PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT - I’M SLIGHTLY BIAS BECAUSE SINCE I WROTE IT UP LAST MONTH I’VE INCREASED MY STAKE FROM 100,000 shares to 283,500 shares… Call their investor relations department at (800) 665-4646 and talk to Bob Dines – he’s got the answers that you need to make an intelligent investment decision.

I’ve got a very interesting speculation for you in a little company that is developing an environmentally friendly low-cost answer to our strategic fuel needs. This one goes by the name of Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. and you can buy it today for four cents on the OTCBB as SLGLF. I own 100,000 shares that I picked up at a fire sale a couple of months back for two cents a share. After you read what I’ve got to say about SILVERADO – go to their investor relations department at 1 (800) 665 4646 – ask questions and request an investor’s packet. Their web-site is www.silverado.com. This one looks good to me but – please don’t invest your hard earned until all of your questions have been answered.

While the development of various alternative energy sources has been gaining momentum for the past few years, problems caused by serious disruptions in the flow of oil and gas really hit home in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. It was bad enough with oil topping US $70 a barrel, then Katrina struck the Gulf States – which supply about one-quarter of North American petroleum supplies – and almost overnight, millions of North Americans were faced with markedly higher gasoline prices and out-right shortages in some areas. Energy shocks like these on a wide scale will no doubt heighten interest in viable alternative energy projects that have potential to lesson dependence on conventional petroleum sources.

Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. (a subsidiary of Silverado Gold mines Ltd.) has been developing a low-rank coal-water fuel that shows the promise of providing a significant energy source with several widespread applications, in particular, the generation of electricity and industrial heat, replacing heavy oil as a fuel source. The company’s alternative fuel operations are located in Fairbanks, Alaska where it also produces gold from the Nolan placer mine. Part of Silverado’s assets include the mothballed Grant gold mill that it hopes can be retrofitted to produce the new green fuel.

Known as hydrothermal treatment, or hot water drying, Silverado’s process heats the low-rank, or sub-bituminous, coal in an “aqueous phase” at about 1,500 psi and 285 degrees centigrade. The procedure is similar to pressure cooking on your kitchen stove. Without going into scientific details (which I’d only make a mess out of anyway) basically, the process provides a net increase in the energy content of the dry, low-rank coal. For the chemistry-inclined, the hot water drying treatment is fully explained on Silverado’s web site: www.silverado.com.

With the final product a liquid, the non-hazardous, non-toxic, easily transportable “quasi liquid” has no dust problems or the potential problem of spontaneous combustion. Research by Silverado has shown that its process is able to produce what it calls Green Fuel, for less that the cost of using conventional oil sources – US $9 to 14 per barrel of oil equivalent. In addition, the Green Fuel can be treated by gasification and other conventional processes to make higher-grade fuel and petrochemicals that burn cleaner than their counterparts and are competitively priced.

Mr. Garry Anselmo, Chairman & CEO, says that at the present time, Silverado is discussing financing options to commercially develop the Green Fuel. Meanwhile, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski recently announced an energy bill, naming Silverado and others that would provide financial assistance to alternative energy projects. The company is continuing to work with the US government to receive an appropriation for a demonstration project.

I believe that this little company is onto something very worthwhile at exactly the right time in history and your chance is now at hand to get in on the ground floor. This is what I would like you to do. First research their web site and then get on the phone and talk to Silverado’s public relations specialist, Mr. Bob Dynes. I’ve talked with him in depth and have found that he is very knowledgeable and willing to take as much time as needed to answer all of your questions to your fullest satisfaction.

      UNITED STATES CONGRESS CONTINUES SUPPORT
      FOR COAL-TO-LIQUID FUELS

      WASHINGTON, D.C. – WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21 - 2005

      SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt : SLGL / Berlin : SLGL

An important coal-related amendment was included in legislation during the final days of the 109th Congress’ first session, which ends imminently. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia offered an amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill which requires that a study be done on the benefits of converting coal to liquid fuels by the Department of Defense.

The Byrd amendment is a clear demonstration that the United States Government is continuing to seek alternative sources of fuel, and that the Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel coal conversion process of Silverado Green Fuel Inc. will be a vital part of the solution to the current energy needs.

“I was very happy to learn that the amendment offered by Senator Byrd was included in the House – Senate Conference Report on Defense Authorization this week. It is a forward-looking amendment that recognizes the need to involve coal-to-liquids as part of the solution to the national energy security. We have been making tremendous headway in educating Members of Congress about the Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel project, and this amendment is just one of the early fruits of our labor,” commented Silverado Green Fuel Inc. Chairman and CEO Garry Anselmo. “Earlier this year both the U.S. House and Senate recognized Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel in the massive Energy Bill, which specifically authorized funding for LRCWF projects. This was no small feat as there were many innovative processes competing for recognition. We continue to be grateful to Senator Lisa Murkowski for her unyielding efforts in including LRCWF recognition in the Energy Bill.”

Following passage of the first Energy bill this past July, the House continued its strong support for the development of Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel with the passage of “Energy II” which included the definition of a refinery as "...a facility designed and operated to receive, load, unload, store, transport, process and refine coal by any chemical or physical process, including liquefaction, in order to produce ...liquid fuel as its primary output..."

“We view Senator Byrd’s amendment as the next logical step in the growing support we have seen from the United States Congress,” Mr. Anselmo continued. “During my recent trip to Washington D.C., I was amazed and encouraged by the major change in attitude toward the utilization of low-rank coal. I met with several Congressmen and Senators from states representing different areas of the country. In each meeting, these Members of Congress were concerned about acquiring an inexpensive, reliable, and domestic source of fuel. They were very informed, and excited about the Hydrothermal Treatment process employed by Silverado Green Fuel, Inc. I am greatly encouraged by these Members’ interest in our LRCWF project and their willingness to work together to bring to the country a new, versatile, and inexpensive fuel source which will reduce and ultimately eliminate America’s dependence on foreign countries to meet its energy needs,” Anselmo concluded.

SILVERADO GREEN FUEL INC. CEO INVITED TO TESTIFY AT CONGRESSIONAL HEARING

      WASHINGTON, D.C. – WEDNESDAY, MAY 03 - 2006

      SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt : SLGL / Berlin : SLGL

Late last week, the United States House Committee on Resources officially invited Silverado Green Fuel Inc. CEO, Garry L. Anselmo, to testify at a hearing to be held in Washington, D.C. this Thursday, May 4. The title of the hearing is "The Future of Federal Coal: Status, Availability and Impact of Technological Advances in Using Coal to Create Alternative Resources." According to committee staff aides, the purpose of the hearing is to not only investigate the potential for using America's coal resources as an alternative fuel source, but also to acknowledge the vast coal resources in America and support new technologies designed to economically utilize those resources. The Committee is focusing on coal-to-liquid technologies.

"I am very honored and pleased to have been chosen to testify before this important Congressional committee," commented Anselmo when learning of the invitation. "I look forward to sharing with these Members of Congress and their aides our unique process and how we can help America meet its energy needs," he continued.

Both houses of Congress have been looking at a variety of alternative fuel sources. The Senate and the House have begun a series of hearings to determine what domestic alternative fuel resources are available - from wind and solar energy to biomass fuel sources.

"As the prices rise at every gas pump across the country, Americans are crying out for a safe, economic and environmentally friendly fuel to be produced. Silverado's Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel Project is designed to do just that," said Anselmo, continuing, "Our product is the perfect feed-stock for further synthesis into a wide variety of products, including synthetic gasoline, jet and diesel fuel."

Other witnesses scheduled to testify are representatives of government agencies, as well as expert witnesses from the coal industry. Industry companies included in the hearing are Rentech, DKRW and Waste Management and Processors, Inc. among others. "I look forward to hearing the testimony presented by my colleagues, and sharing with them our progress in moving our project forward. Silverado Green Fuel Inc. is continuing to make great strides in finalizing preparations of our Memorandum of Understanding for our first commercial scale-up demonstration and research facility. I believe this hearing can only help to further propel that process forward," Anselmo concluded.

      drin.
