2002 Quarter 4 and Year-end Financial Results

The audit for the 2002 Quarter 4 and Year-end financial results is continuing. Baker Tilly, the auditors are considering adjustments and write-offs for 2001. The results will be posted when the audit is complete.

Class Action

World Gaming Plc have also been informed by our attorneys that Plaintiff Counsel for the Class Action has arranged to sell the approximately 6.5 million settlement ADRs to a private party at $0.16 per ADR, and has submitted this plan to the U.S. District Court of Delaware (Case No. 99-681 SLR). A second group is submitting a counter offer that will pay at $0.18 per ADR to the Class Action Counsel for the settlement ADRs, and unlike the initial offer, is allowing Class Action Plaintiffs to retain their ADRs. World Gaming is endorsing this second offer as it seems more fair. There is currently no date for settlement.

1 August 2002 Loan Repayment

World Gaming is pleased to inform shareholders that the loan from Sportingbet Plc for US$1.5 million has been repaid in full, well before the September repayment deadline.

This company was so close to bankruptcy only a few months ago, I am amazed to see a financial relationship developed so quickly. This lender MUST have seen the numbers that have eluded the shareholders, because the only other numbers (the old numbers) indicate a company about to go under. This must mean the numbers are good or there would not be the new banking relationship`

Just review the last three pieces on news from WG (not all PR`s), new money, old loan paid and interest in buying CA shares, and hew software. Is this your father`s Oldsmobile or is this really a new company which has already turned the corner that has a stock price that does not reflect the actual company`s true value?

Does the new lender know something we dont know?
Do those CA share buyers know something we dont know?

Indicates strengthened board of directors

LONDON, UK, April 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - World Gaming plc (OTC BB: WGMGY), a UK-based I-gaming software and e-business services company, is pleased to provide additional details on the strategic partnership with Goodison Park Ltd. that was announced in a press release dated 7 April, 2003. Goodison Park Ltd. is a subsidiary of Sportingbet Plc, World Gaming`s largest licensee.

Sportingbet has advised the Company that this investment has been made with the intention of securing the Company`s future as an independent entity and to ensure that the Company is able to deliver the leading package of software to the online gaming industry. Sportingnet advises that it is lending its financial support to increasing the Company`s creativity and accelerating its product development.

Concurrent with Sportingbet`s investment, Nicholas Jackson, the current Chief Executive of World Gaming, submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors and as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Nicholas Jackson, outgoing Chief Executive Officer of World Gaming, stated:
