PROMISE's booth at VMworld will feature a technology demonstration of its 'High Density Storage Server', a hyperscale computing 4U/70 bay platform which features two independent server nodes that provide high-availability, high storage capacity and high networking throughput. The PROMISE Technology High Density Storage Server provides flexible configuration modes to meet the needs of different deployment scenarios, and will be targeting big data analytics for OEM partners and Internet data center customers when it launches in Q4 2014.

Rounding out the suite of cloud storage solutions at PROMISE's booth are its VTrak storage subsystems -- which are VMware 5.5 certified and support Symantec and Veeam. The VTrak systems at VMworld can be deployed as virtualization building blocks for creating a cloud workgroup infrastructure for backup and archiving.
