Danke für diese News.....bei Fabie Bay läuft also alles nach Plan....zur Erinnerung: Nebst einem Kassenzustupf in Form von Cash sind bei Produktionsbeginn 10% der ausstehenden Shares von FMA fällig....also aktueller Wert = 3.45 Mio à 1.10 CAD...

So wie ich das sehe wird dies noch im 4. Quartal verbucht werden.

First Metals Blasts and Ships From Fabie Bay
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 5, 2007) - First Metals Inc. (TSX:FMA) is pleased to report that the initial blasting of the open pit bench at the Fabie Bay Deposit was successfully undertaken on November 1st, 2007.

Trucking of the crushed material stockpiled from underground has begun today. It is anticipated that approximately 15,000 tonnes of both higher grade and low grade material will be delivered to the Horne Mill in Rouyn-Noranda by the time the mill is ready to start on November 17th, 2007. The deposit is located 30 miles from Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.

First Metals is bringing into production the Fabie Bay and Magusi River Copper, Zinc, Gold and Silver Projects, near Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada acquired from Globex Mining Enterprises, Inc. last year. First Metals has approximately 34.5 million shares issued and outstanding.

Das ist schon richtig, aber der CAD ist auch gegenüber dem EUR und CHF wesentlich stärker geworden....Jack hat kürzlich mal verlauten lassen, dass die Stärke des CAD für Globex momentan ein grosses (wenn nicht sogar sein grösstes) Problem sei.

Dafür ist Canada wohl eines der politisch stabilsten Länder der Erde.
Der Cad war in den 80 igern gegenüber demusd schon wesentlich höher.
Die Höhe des Goldpreises wird auch damit zu tun haben, daß der usd im Vergleich zu anderen Währungen so schwach ist.
