Goldrea signs JV agreement with China Shandong

      2006-07-06 15:46 ET - News Release

      Mr. Larry Reaugh reports

CHINA - NEW EXPLORATION LICENSES ARE NEGOTIATED BY GOLDREA COVERING GOLD BEARING BRECCIA ZONES EXTENDING TO THE SOUTH

Goldrea Resources Corp. has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement (the Weihai agreement) with the China Shandong No. 3 Mineral and Geological Exploration Institute (third brigade). Goldrea Resources agrees to spend $1.4-million over four years, to earn a 70-per-cent interest in the JV with $200,000 going directly to the third brigade to facilitate the transfer of the licences to the JV. The Weihai agreement includes eight exploration licences covering 90 square kilometres southwest of the existing licences held by the Rushan Goldrea Gold Corp., a JV between Goldrea and the city of Rushan (Daye JV). This new agreement will extend the exploration rights from the existing Daye JV licences to the south along the Daye mineral zone. The Weihai JV agreement is subject to regulatory approval.

The company will prepare a co-operative JV agreement with the third brigade which will entail three levels of Chinese government approval as well as a business licence. Currently a National Instrument 43-101-complaint geological report is being prepared on the new acquisition. A 10-per-cent finder's fee is payable on the above acquisition.

      Daye joint venture

Drill results over the past two years have extended the known mineralization to depth. This mineralization follows the contact between the basin sediments and the basement rocks along a broad front approximately 4.5 kilometres wide. This contact zone is shallow dipping and is characterized by a sulphide-bearing breccia contiguous along the zone. Within the breccia are bodies of gold mineralization. This gold mineralization is the ore which has been mined in the Daye open pit and is the target of development down dip. The Golden Rose shaft, presently at a depth of 40 metres, is being driven toward the downward extension of the Daye ore zone. This gold-bearing mineral zone is referred to as the South Shijia zone and is indicated by drilling late last year.

Surface mapping and shallow drilling have indicated seven of these gold and sulphide-bearing bodies of undetermined size along the 4.5-kilometre strike of the contact. The sulphide breccia contact is truncated by faults on both ends but the remainder of the contact between the basin rocks and the basement rocks remains prospective and untested. Geological interpretation of the mineralization along the contact indicates that the breccia, with the accompanying sulphides and gold, will continue to depth. Because of the shallow dip the contact extends off the Daye JV exploration licences to the south. The new joint venture agreement with the third brigade (the Weihai agreement) will cover the prospective areas within the basin to the south, for a distance of 6.5 kilometres.

      Weihai joint venture

The third brigade has drilled seven drill holes (ZK901-ZK907) on the downward extension of the Shijia South zone adjacent to the Daye JV exploration licences. The results indicated that this zone continues to depth with good grades. The third brigade has provided the assay results of these holes but has not provided the exact surveyed locations or the geological logs of these holes. Visual estimates are that the holes are within 200 metres of the previously reported hole GZK810 (see Stockwatch news Dec. 1, 2005). Significant results are as follows:

Hole From To (m) Au gpt

      ZK904 171.40 180.40 9.00 4.24
      Incl. 171.40 172.40 1.00 0.50
      Incl. 172.40 173.40 1.00 3.00
      Incl. 173.40 174.40 1.00 4.40
      Incl. 174.40 175.40 1.00 3.50

      Incl. 179.40 180.40 1.00 0.50

Assaying was completed by the Daye mine assay facilities located on-site. The shaft sinking toward the deeper part of the South Shijia zone has reached the 40-metre mark and is progressing on schedule.

Mapping on the Majiakuang licence some 10 km to the east of Daye is continuing on schedule and should be completed by the end of this month. This mapping is designed to define structures identified by the induced-polarization surveys.

Field mapping on the Langiazhoung licence, 40 km to the south, is now completed and the geological maps are being drawn up. This area is also under cultivation and seven drill holes were drilled during the winter months to avoid damage to the crops. The results of this drilling indicated that the structures are steeper than anticipated and shallower-dipping holes are planned for the future. The drill rig on-site was not equipped to drill shallow-dipping holes. Drill hole LZK4 intersected vein material which assayed 1.03 grams per tonne over three metres with an estimated true width of 1.02 metres.

Fieldwork on the geochemistry surveys is completed at the Nantangia licence 60 km south of Daye where induced-polarization surveys indicate the presence of sulphides. Analytical results are expected shortly.

This press release was prepared by Norm Tribe, PEng, a qualified person pursuant to National Instrument 43-101, and the engineer supervising the continuing exploration and development in China.

      We seek Safe Harbor.

Heut aufgrund der NR (JV mit Molycor) bzgl. des Dobbin I Projektes ebenfalls ein sattes Plus..... sehr schön dass sich beide (Molycor und Goldrea) zurück melden!
