      www.minemakers.com.au

erstmal nur kurz das von der Frontpage,
mehr kommt vielleicht erst morgen, mal sehen.

"Minemakers believe the world markets may be on the cusp of an emerging mineral price Supercycle and has strategically positioned itself for future price rises in a number of commodities including tungsten, tin, magnesite, fluorite, phosphate and halite (rock salt).

      * Minemakers Limited - Investment Highlights An issue of 25 million shares at 20 cents to raise $5.0 million capitalizing Minemakers Limited at about $10 million at issue price.
      * An opportunity to participate in the minerals price Supercycle by exposure to seven commodities and to additional by-product potential in several others.
      * Most projects already have defined large resources – some the largest in Australia for that commodity. In today’s money most projects have had multi–million dollar previous expenditures, which have established the database foundations on which Minemakers intends to build.
      * The Company aims to become a significant and profitable miner of tungsten, tin & fluorite and to set up consortia which will become major world players in phosphate, salt and iron-ore.
      * Minemakers will be in the business of developing mines on its mineral deposits and will not be an explorer except to locate additional brownfields resources near the future minesites so as to provide production longevity.
      * It intends to undertake early drilling campaigns at most projects so as to upgrade the resource bases as the necessary first step to completion of bankable feasibilities.
      * The Directors have strong experience in corporate matters and in mine capital raising and development, and in increasing share value for companies with which they have been associated.

The Company has acquired a suite of large scale Australian projects across a range of commodities. Most have significant resource bases, some of world class status and most having significant past expenditure (several million dollars) already undertaken on them, allowing for increased potential for entire production.

The Company’s strategy is to value add and advance all of its projects, with the aim of demonstrating potential commerciality. For the world class projects it will aim to establish a consortia of consumer and trading companies, further advancing them into production. Projects within the Minemakers portfolio include:

Tungsten & Tin: Acquisition the control of the Eastern Tasmanian tungsten and tin mineral fields including 100% control over resources at Aberfoyle, Storeys Creek, Great Pyramid, Royal George and Anchor mines and deposits. Further developing these resources will be an early focus.

Fluorite:The Moina fluorite-tungsten-magnetite deposit. Originally owned by a major mining house. Believed to be the largest fluorite deposit within Australia. In prefeasibility status with an estimated in-ground value of up to A$3 billion at current prices.

Phosphate: The Wonarah Phosphate project is Australia’s largest undeveloped phosphate project. New extensive outcropping mineralisation discovered to the south has potential to transform the project’s economics.

Magnetite: The West Southdown and Frankland River Iron ore projects. West Southdown believed to be the along strike extensional continuation of the magnetite mineralisation at Grange Resources' Southdown iron ore project. Frankland River may be an interpreted near surface repetition.

Rock Salt: The Port Keats Project. A large salt dome straddling the coast off the Northern Territory. A potential large low cost salt producer from brine solution mining."

Was mir speziell als optimale Voraussetzung scheint,

projekt wirklich was vernünftiges entwickeln sollte
-ich darf gar nicht dran denken...

Versuche das demnächst noch etwas detaillierter
      auseinanderzunehmen.

      Ich bin komplett begeistert -euphorisch,
war auf Anhieb einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsstocks,
kanns selber gar nicht genau erklären.

      auch noch sehr schön:

"China is the world’s largest supplier of fluorspar and, until recently, has produced sufficient
for its own needs and for export. This resulted in a balanced supply-demand situation and
stable pricing. However, it was reported at the recent international Fluorspar 07 Conference,
attended by Minemakers, that Chinese production has fallen due to mine depletion, resulting
in lower exports with further declines in exports expected in future. This has driven a
significant rise in fluorspar prices recently from US$130/t to US$230/t.
As a result of this price rise, Minemakers has received enquiries concerning purchases of
product and interest in seeking equity in the development.

Magnetite prices have been strong, large deals are being done on Western Australian
deposits, and there is widespread reporting of possible price rises in 2008.

Tin price has doubled over the last year. Significantly, China, the world’s largest producer,
moved into a supply deficit in August.

Tungsten prices have remained firm and China, again the world’s largest producer, has
flagged further export cuts for 2008.

Bismuth price has almost quadrupled over the last year."

Also: Incitec Pivot's Börsenwert beträgt 6.6 Milliarden AUS$.

"Wonorah Rock Phosphate Project in the Northern Territory, with an estimated in ground value of $56 billion."

      Hallo zusammen.

      Aus dem Bord Hotcopper
      Aussiland zu Info.

I have just read all this discussion here on gaps tonight, and it is good to see

And, I have to say, if you are an investor in mak, or anyone looking for the next blue chip stock, then you only need ask yourself one question

Review the valuations here, read maks announcements, look at the price of ipl and the amount of phosphate their have, compare it to mak plus their tungsten, tin, ioron ore, and then tell me, in 2-3 years time, can you see mak being any less than $9 + A SHARE

Mind you, IPL is $128 a share
Then come back and tell me what difference an extra 10c better entry would mean to you

      Cheers,

      MINEMAKERS’ BACKGROUND
Minemakers has acquired and aims to be a developer of mineral projects. The company has a portfolio
comprising several projects with identified resources and large databases and others with highly
      prospective mineral targets.
There are currently five projects in the portfolio covering iron ore, tin and
tungsten, salt, phosphate, fluorite and polymetallics. The tin/tungsten and phosphate deposits are also

MD is in Europe doing a roadshow to brokers now...imagine foreign brokers trying to take a position.

And dont forget the uranium...and significant iron ore resource and then this which we can expect news on soon...

"interim resource estimate being commissioned in the first quarter 2008 "

      JORC expected soon!!

      MOINA FLUORSPAR-TUNGSTEN-TIN
In-fill assaying is in progress with the objective of a new and JORC-compliant interim resource estimate being commissioned in the first quarter 2008 without any further drilling. With high grade and relatively shallow fluorite intersections, it is deemed suitable for an open-cut operation with a very low stripping ratio, a pre-JORC mineralisation estimate of 26.5Mt @ 18% fluorite, 0.1% tungsten and 0.1% tin in a magnetite host was made.

This is the largest known fluorite deposit in Australia, containing about 1% of the world's known endowment. To illustrate the potential of the deposit, mining and processing at a rate of 3Mtpa would see it producing around 15% of current non-Chinese world fluorspar output (75% recovery basis) and up to 25% of non-Chinese tungsten production (100% recovery basis).

      Exploration target 26-60mt
      Assuming 26mt of mineralization @ 18% = 4.7 mt caf2
      Largest australian deposit - mining @ 3mtpa @ 18%
      (75% recovery) for 20 years 0.4 mtpa caf2
      2006 world production 5.4 mt
Share of 2006 world production 7%
      Share of 2006 non-chinese production 15%
Co-product tungsten potential of up to 3,000tpa, or 26% of 2005 non-chinese production

      Warning of world phosphate shortage

Matthew Warren, Environment writer | March 12, 2008
THE exponential growth in global food production has not only sent the price of fertilisers skyrocketing, but could lead to a world shortage of phosphate within decades.

Beyond a temporary market spike driven by richer developing countries and increased supply of biofuels, researchers are warning that the world could face dwindling supplies of phosphate by 2040 unless steps are taken to use it more efficiently and recover it from human waste.

But unlike oil, which can be managed by substituting other sources of energy, there is no substitute for the critical role of phosphate in plant development and production.

Mineral phosphorous fertilisers come from mined phosphate rock found in places such as Christmas Island, Nauru and Morocco, which is the world's biggest exporter of the resource.

"Quite simply, without phosphorus we cannot produce food," says Dana Cordell of the Institute of Sustainable Futures, based in Sydney.

Growth in demand for food in China and India, coupled with increased switching of food crops to biofuels in the US, have increased the demand for fertilisers, raising the world price fourfold in the past year.

Despite the development of phosphate mining at Mount Isa to replace declining supplies from Nauru and Christmas Island, Australia still imports about 75 per cent of its fertiliser.

Ms Cordell is researching the scale of the looming shortage and methods to improve the efficiency of phosphate use.

"There is no global organisation looking at global trends in phosphorus and how we're going to ensure we'll have phosphorus production into the future," she said.

"It's just left to the market, which is looking at a different timeline to what we need."

She is working with researchers in Sweden to use human urine as a source of phosphate by redesigning toilets. It would be siphoned off and stored in tanks for supply to farmers.

Minemakers Limited (ASX:MAK) Ready For Diamond Drilling at Wonarah Rock

Perth, Mar 17, 2008 (ABN Newswire) - Minemakers Limited (ASX: MAK) has now received all requisite approvals for its planned reverse circulation ("RC") and diamond drilling programmes at the Wonarah Rock Phosphate project.

The Company thanks the Traditional Owners and their representatives, the Central Lands Council, and also the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry, Fisheries and Mines for their prompt co-operation and enthusiasm.

The drilling will provide the cornerstone data for the economic and development studies. The RC drilling will mobilise in the first week of April and is aimed at allowing a new JORC compliant resource estimate and to test the potential of the Arrawurra Prospect to be a preferred deposit for fast track development. Diamond drilling will begin in mid April and it will:

      - Provide material for the metallurgical testwork programmes.

      - Provide geotechnical data for pit design, mining method and costs.

      - Provide hydrological information.

      - Allow testing of the lower phosphorite unit for which resources have not previously been estimated.

The Company is currently in the logistics phase for the programme and will shortly begin line clearing for drill access.

      MINEMAKERS' BACKGROUND

Minemakers has acquired and aims to be a developer of mineral projects. The company has a portfolio comprising several projects with identified resources and large databases and others with highly prospective mineral targets. There are currently five projects in the portfolio covering iron ore, tin and tungsten, salt, phosphate, fluorite and polymetallics. The tin/tungsten deposits are also highly prospective for uranium.

The most advanced opportunity is the Wonarah rock phosphate project (NT). Others are for tin and tungsten, centred on the historic Aberfoyle and Storey's Creek mines in the northeast of Tasmania, as well as several other tin or tin/tungsten deposits. The Moina (Tas) fluorite and polymetallics project is also under assessment.

The Company has identified a unique opportunity to position itself with non-mainstream commodities or mineralization. Rising demand has increased prices for many mineral commodities. In several of the commodities for which Minemakers holds large deposits or targets, restricted Chinese mineral exports have decreased available supply.

Minemakers' projects are in Australia, with its low sovereign risk and generally contain deposits with open cut mining potential.

The information in this report that relates to Exploration Results, Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves is based on information compiled by Andrew Drummond, a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. Mr Drummond has sufficient experience deemed relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the 'Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves'. Mr Drummond consents to the inclusion in the report of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appear.

      About MINEMAKERS LIMITED

The Company has acquired a suite of large scale Australian projects across a range of commodities. Most have significant resource bases, some of world class status and most having significant past expenditure (several million dollars) already undertaken on them, allowing for increased potential for entire production.

As of Feburary 28, 2008, the Company had 157,779,663 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of February 28, 2008 - $74.28 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $13 billion.

Anglo Potash Ltd. ("Anglo Potash") (name changed from Ango Minerals Ltd. effective February 29, 2008) is a junior company trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol AGP (previous symbol: ALM) that is focused on exploring for and developing Saskatchewan's first potash mine in almost 40 years. The company is headed by president and CEO, Todd Montgomery, who was instrumental in putting together what could be the world's largest landholdings prospective for potash and partnering with BHP Billiton, the largest diversified mining company in the world. The Anglo Potash/BHP Billiton joint venture covers all current and future acquired permitable potash land in Saskatchewan and is split with Anglo Minerals owning 25% and BHP Billiton owning 75% and being the operator of the joint venture. (Jan-2008)

As of Feburary 28, 2008, the Company had 31,665,925 shares outstanding with 3,100,000 options outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of February 28, 2008 - $5.86 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $185 million.

Athabasca Potash Inc. is actively engaged in the exploration of potash projects in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company has a clear objective; to establish itself as a pre-eminent Canadian public company engaged solely on potash exploration and development and to provide its shareholders with a unique investment opportunity focused entirely on potash. The Company is aggressively exploring its wholly-owned Burr Project and recently completed a 3D seismic survey. The survey covered 60.22 square kilometres where a 2D seismic survey had previously been conducted in 2006, and a five hole drill program was completed in 2007. The 3D seismic survey will help identify localized geological hazards and will also identify the optimal locations for a mine shaft.

As of March 7, 2008, the Company had 36,573,031 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of March 7, 2008 - $5.70 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $208 million.

The Company's objective is to explore, define and develop a world-class potash deposit (Elkhorn Potash Project) and to acquire / participate in proven Potash deposits and the agricultural sector including Fertilizer plants in order to provide the Company's shareholders with an early opportunity to participate in the blue-chip dominated potash mining industry.

As of March 7, 2008, the Company had 45,175,176 shares outstanding with 1,225,000 options outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of March 7, 2008 - $0.65 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approxmately $29 million.

Migao Corp., ("Migao") trading on the TSX Exchange under the symbol: MGO, based in China, processes potash into specialty potash-based fertilizers for the Chinese market. The Company was established in 2003 and has consistently grown in revenue and profitably. Migao is positioned to become the leading producer of specialty potash fertilizer for the Chinese market. The Company is currently producing its two core products – potassium nitrate and potassium sulphate, at three operating locations in China.

China is the largest consumer of fertilizers in the world. Demand for improved crop yield, higher quality food, and more variety is fueling the growth of the fertilizer market in China. There is very little naturally occurring potash in China. Of the three principal fertilizer nutrients (nitrogen, phosphate, and potash), potash is the least readily available in the country. Migao's patent-pending technology allows the Company to offer a consistent and reliable supply of high quality potash-based fertilizers which are ideal for high-value crops such as fruits and vegetables, tobacco, and cotton.

As of Feburary 28, 2008, the Company had 36,018,726 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of February 28, 2008 - $8.43 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $255 million.

Potash Corp. is an integrated producer of fertilizer, industrial and animal feed products. The comapny is the world’s largest fertilizer enterprise by capacity, producing the three primary plant nutrients – potash, nitrogen and phosphate. Among these, potash – the namesake of the company – delivers the highest quality earnings in the fertilizer universe. With a majority of the world’s excess potash capacity, large low-cost operations and strategic global investments, the company has an unmatched ability to serve both North American and growing offshore markets.

As of March 7, 2008, the Company had 316,334,445 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of March 7, 2008 - $153.71 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approxmately $48 billion.

Potash One Inc is an agriculture focused resource development company well positioned to benefit from the growing global demand for food, feed and biofuels -- a fundamental trend reinforced by the increasing global population growth. The Legacy Potash Project positions Potash One as one of the very few junior public companies with current Potash permits, 43-101 compliant resources and active work programs in the Saskatchewan Potash basin. The latest technical report has estimated that the Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource for the 97,400 Acre Legacy Project contains close to 400M tonnes of Potash.

As of March 7, 2008, the Company had 35,995,401 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of March 7, 2008 - $4.19 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $150 million.

Raytec Metals Corp. is a junior company engaged in exploration for various metals and minerals such as uranium, iron ore and potash.

As of March 7, 2008, the Company had 32,086,612 shares outstanding. Based on the Company's closing price as of March 7, 2008 - $0.57 per share, the market capitalization of the company is approximately $18.29 million."

      Zusätzlich hab ich persönlich festgestellt,
daß zuletzt einige, einige -meist sehr kleine- Unternehmen
ein oder mehrere Potash-Projekt(e) akquiriert haben.
      (kann ich inzwischen verstehen) :)

      Posted: Thu, 27 Mar 2008
[miningmx.com] -- TSX-listed MagIndustries said its subsidiary MagMinerals has been granted a 25-year mining license (the Makola Mining Licence) for its Kouilou Potash project in the Republic of Congo (ROC).

The company intends to invest $723m in phase 1 of a 600,000 tonnes/year operation to produce granular potash.

MagMinerals said it plans to "build, own, and operate a stand-alone 1.2 million tonnes per year potash mine and plant near the Atlantic port city of Pointe-Noire". Potash is used in the making of soap, glass and fertilisers.

As if to reassure potential investors Magindustries says "major international firms such as TOTAL, ENI, Chevron etc., have successfully carried out oil exploration and commercial production in the ROC without incident for over 30 years".

      Ein bisschen was zusammengestelltes...

      letztes Research

      www.magindustries.com/detail.php?id=779

(Auszug aus der kürzlich bekanntgegebenen Feasibility Study)

"MagMinerals is also pleased to report the finalization of a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Technical Report (TR) entitled the "Reserve Estimate for MagMinerals Makola Permit Area, Kouilou Region, Republic of Congo" which identifies proven and probable reserves available to support the Kouilou Potash Mine. These reserves are located in the 25 square kilometer Mengo area which represents only a small portion of the 2,265 square kilometer Makola Permit area. The proven reserves amount to 17.9 million tonnes of KCl while the probable reserves amount to 3.1 million tonnes of KCl. At a production rate of 600,000 tonnes of KCl this indicates a mine life of about 34 years. In addition, the earlier technical report (filed on SEDAR on Nov 20, 2007) showed inferred resources of 1.07 billion tonnes of carnallitite representing 185.9 million tonnes of KCl. Ercosplan notes that the proven and probable reserves are open in all directions and that additional drilling will likely increase the reserve base available for future plant expansions."

      viel viel interessanteres gesehen,

investiert, also sowohl mak, stb, gbe, rwd.

Pottasche (Kaliumcarbonat): Wie Sie sicher profitieren

Also könnten die Kali-Preise weiter steigen. Wie weit? Bedenken Sie Folgendes:

      Good Investing

      Tom

      *****************************************************************

      z.B.:

Good on you for having an open view. I tried posting on MAK thread to tip POZ as it was some of the posters on MAK that first alerted me to it and I did very well from it.

POZ will rival MAK, make no mistakes about it.
Have a read of the prospectus. Notice POZ also has a tennament that surround Wonarah that is undrilled. They have applied for a lot of tennaments in the Georgina Basin.
highland Plains has an estimate of 82.6 @ 20%P205. The 20%P205 is actually closer to 21%P205 if you look closer.

They have a 1sqkm of FROM SURFACE GRADES. This is huge.

Only obstacle for mine is building the Slurry pipe line, but with the current economics of the sector, there will be people tearing their door down to get in. I won't see it as a problem.

If they prove up a resource on the tennament next door to MAK which the highway runs straight through, then they can use the same route to production.

For mine anything under 50c is a screaming long term buy.

good luck on getting some NickR, you'll be competing with me on July4 lol and many others I suspect

Sometimes with IPO's in huge demand it is better to stay out of the first day feeding frenzy and wait a couple of days for the market to cool off before buying in. Having said that, if no-one who has received shares in the IPO is interested in selling then the buying frenzy may continue to push the price up for a while, especially based on comments here.

I haven't read the POZ prospectus but if they do have 80 odd mt at similar grades to MAK I would imagine the price will keep rising until the market cap is close to MAK's (and maybe MAK will come down a bit as some MAK holders look to spread their exposure).

      FUNDING STILL TO BE ARRANGED

Big railway plan for NT phosphate project - Mineweb, PERTH - Friday , 09 Jan 2009

      - With most resource projects for junior companies now back on the shelf there was a good sign for the new year with junior company Minemakers Ltd which disclosed today that it had signed a memorandum of understanding to build a 250 kilometre railway line in Australia's Northern Territory. -

      - Ross Louthean -
      www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/en/page72102?oid=76395&…

"Minemakers (ASX: MAK) and Australian Transport and Energy Corridor Ltd (ATEC) have agreed to a financial study for a railway line for development of the Wonarah phosphate project near Tennant Creek - ranked as the biggest undeveloped phosphate project in the southern hemisphere.

Minemaker's managing director Andrew Drummond said should the outcome of the study be positive, ATEC would manage the approvals process, financing and construction of the rail link.

He said the rail concept was expected to lower "materially" the operating costs and could potentially allow higher production output than the blueprinted 3 million tonnes per annum for road haulage.

That blueprint had included road freight of the direct shipping ore and/or beneficiated rock phosphate from minesite to a transport hub at Tennant Creek. There it would be re-handled and loaded onto trains for standard gauge rail haulage to the northern export port of Darwin.

The road freight and rehandling component has been identified as the single greatest operating cost of the whole production, processing and freight chain - not uncommon for remote resource projects in Australia where the challenge is the tyranny of distance.

Drummond said practical limitations to road haulage over the approximately 270 km of the Barkly Highway are considered to set the production ceiling at 3 Mtpa.

Construction of a standard gauge rail spur line from near Tennant Creek to Wonarah "would likely result in considerable cost savings by removing the road haulage and re-handling aspects and, subject to market demand, could allow considerable expansion of production."

ATEC is an unlisted rail infrastructure development and investment company. It was successful in securing an unsolicited public private partnership mandate from the Queensland Government to deliver the Surat Basin rail project.

Stage one of the study will be a desktop one and will be completed by the end of May and will include preliminary financial modelling.

"While it has long been our stated objective for a rail link to Wonarah to be constructed as the key to a second stage development of the Wonarah deposits, the ATEC approach potentially enables a faster track to satisfy this objective," Drummond added. "

Minemakers Limited Signs MOU with Australian Transport and Energy Corridor Ltd for Financial Study on the Wonarah Project with the Aim of Maximising the Value of its Northern Territory Land Position - Australianinvestor - Jan09

      - Minemakers Limited is an exploration company focused on unlocking the potential of its quality portfolio of assets in Australia, with a primary aim of identifying, acquiring and developing economic mineral deposits. -
      www.australianinvestor.com.au/magazine.asp?id=3183

"In line with the company’s growth strategy it is seeking to advance its prospective Wonarah Phosphate deposit into production. It aims to include a 270km road freight of Direct Shipping Ore and/or beneficiated rock phosphate from the planned mine site along the Barkly Highway to a transport hub at Tennant Creek, and then transfer it to rail for train haulage to Darwin Port for export.

Last week Minemakers entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Australian Transport and Energy Corridor Ltd (ATEC) covering a financial study of the economics of a 250 kilometre open access standard gauge rail link.

The proposed rail link will run from the Wonarah Phosphate project to near Tennant Creek to join the standard gauge line to Darwin.

Mr. Andrew Drummond, Managing Director of Minemakers Limited, informed the Australian Investor, “Due to the nature of the mineralisation at Wonarah, that is the phosphate occurs as a bulk commodity, the costs of transport and logistics are a major factor in our development plans”.

“The cost of transporting and re-handling has been identified as the single largest operating cost for the entire Wonarah production chain. In addition to this we’ve determined that there would be limitations to road haulage along the Barkly Highway.”

The production ceiling for the highway is considered to be about 3Mt per annum.

“The Memorandum and thus the study are therefore significant as the construction of a rail line from near Tennant Creek to the mine site would likely result in substantial operating cost savings for Minemakers and, subject to market demand, may allow significant increase in production.

“The rail construction would virtually remove the production ceiling and we would be able to ship product in line with future market demand,” Mr. Drummond stated.

Should the results of the study prove to be successful Mr. Drummond explained that the timeline for the project would be approximately 3 years until construction conclusion, with the parties aiming for the shortest practicable time.

Included in this timeframe the companies would choose a preferred route for the rail line, based on engineering assessments, in addition to securing the approvals and Heritage clearances needed to progress to construction.

Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding the feasibility study will be managed by ATEC. Should the study yield positive results, ATEC will then move to manage the approval process in addition to financing and construction of the rail link.

Stage one of the study is due for completion by 31 May, 2009 and will include preliminary financial modelling. Minemakers will contribute equally with ATEC toward costs of completion of the stage, subject to its costs remaining below $30 000.

A second stage has been planned and will be implemented subject to the outcomes of stage one. Within this a more detailed assessment in preparation for a formal submission to government will be executed.

According to Mr. Drummond, one of the key strengths of Minemakers is its skilled Board and Management, who have a successful track record of rewarding shareholders.

“We have an experienced and capable development team in place who are committed to the project, and we have recently appointed a marketing manager to sell the product.”

“The key advantage of Wonarah is the fact that it is located in close proximity to existing infrastructure. While there are other phosphate deposits in the district they lack the key infrastructure accessibility which Wonarah has. Phosphate is a bulk commodity and needs good road and rail connections to port.

At this time of world credit crisis, Minemakers is very fortunate that development costs do not include those for major transport infrastructure.”

Minemakers’ main priority now is to establish a mine at Wonarah and move the project forward into production. Construction of the rail line, should the financial study prove to be successful, would add value, reduce costs and enhance potential for expansion.

“Wonarah has really captured investor imagination and enthusiasm and this was seen as Minemakers performed as one of the best stocks on the ASX last year.

“Wonarah has a very large resource base which we believe to be well over 400Mt and it will be an open cut project with simple geology and mining.”

He concluded, “We are moving quickly towards production with the aim of this occurring in the first part of 2010. We are justifiably optimistic about Minemakers’ future outlook. We have a dedicated focus that will enable us to maximise the potential value of our land position and returns for our shareholders.” "

Outstanding Drill Results Continue at Wonarah Deposits - Feb 27, 2009

      Summary:

+ All assays from the December 2008 RC drilling programme at Arruwurra are now to hand and have successfully defined an open-ended high grade near surface zone of mineralisation. This is now the focus of Minemakers’ planning for the initial Direct Shipping Ore (“DSO”) mining operation.

+ Assays from the first 2009 infill holes in the Main Zone have extended the area of high grade mineralisation considerably and underpin the drive to establish sufficient high grade resources for a long term DSO operation, should Minemakers prefer it, prior to construction of a beneficiation plant.

+ Data concerning chemical composition shows that Arruwurra samples are particularly low in contaminants. Samples for marketing are being prepared.

+ Despite the abnormally severe wet season this year, drilling investigations are in full swing.

+ The Notice of Intent to mine and the application for a Mineral Lease and for environmental referrals are on schedule to be lodged with the relevant authorities early in March.

Minemakers launches all scrip bid for Bonaparte
      5th March 2009, 9:30 WST

Aspiring phosphate producer Minemakers has launched a conditional all scrip takeover for explorer Bonaparte Diamonds.

Minemakers has offered Bonaparte shareholders one Minemakers share for every 10 Bonaparte shares they hold, valuing the company at $7.4 million.

Minemakers’ chairman George Savell said the integration of the companies would provide a strong strategic fit leading to improved scale and penetration into the world market for rock phosphate.

Minemakers’ key deposit is the former Rio Tinto project, Wonarah, in the Northern Territory, while Bonaparte holds an interest in offshore licenses in Namibia that contain a 196 million tonne phosphate resource.

“Minemakers anticipates that cashflow from Wonarah should commence in 2010 and funds should be available for the continued development of the Namibian marine phosphate project,” Mr Savell said.

Bonaparte, which has three common directors with Minemakers, will set up a committee of independent directors to make a recommendation on the offer.

The common directors, Bonaparte chairman Ted Ellyard and directors Andrew Drummon and Dennis Wilkins, have indicated their willingness to accept the offer in the absence of a superior proposal.

Their shareholdings comprise 11.7 per cent of Bonaparte shares on issue.

The independent committee said it would consider Minemakers bidder’s statement before providing a response.

Bonaparte shareholders are expected to receive the bidder’s statement next month.

Bonaparte said it had hired consultants Blackiston & Crabb to provide independent advice and urged shareholders to take no action but await further advice from the company.

Bonaparte shares closed half a cent, or 11.63 per cent, lower at 3.8 cents despite trading higher earlier in the day and reaching an intraday peak of 5.5 cents.

Minemakers closed up one cent at 40 cents.

Phosphate factor in latest merger mania move - Mineweb, PERTH - Thursday , 05 Mar 2009

      - Ross Louthean -

      - The predicted M&As for a mixture of survival and longevity has taken in the proposed uncoupling of two Australian companies - one getting out of diamonds but into phosphate in Namibia and the other holding Australia's most advanced and biggest phosphate project. -
      www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/en/page66?oid=79689&sn=…

"Independent directors of Minemakers Limited (ASX: MAK) said Thursday that it was making a conditional scrip offer of one Minemakers' share for every 10 shares in Bonaparte Diamond Mines NL (ASX: BON).

Bonaparte is an exploration and mining company with its principal projects in Namibia and South Africa. The company announced earlier this week that it was withdrawing from diamond exploration --because of the state of the market--to focus on its marine phosphate project in Namibia.

It holds a 42.5% interest in the Sandpiper-Meob offshore licences where an initial JORC-compliant Inferred resource of 196.1 Mt at 15.8% phosphate. A further resource update was expected by late this month.

Minemakers' flagship is the Wonarah rock phosphate project in the Northern Territory where there is a JORC-compliant inferred resource of 461 Mt @ 18.8% P205. The company aims to be in commercial production early in 2010. The company also has a portfolio of tin and tungsten, fluorite, salt and iron ore projects in Australia.

Minemakers said that if its bid for Bonaparte was successful it would pave the way for the company becoming a "world-significant" producer of phosphate.

"In view of the Boards of both companies having three common directors, the Corporations Act requires that Bonaparte produce a Target's Statement which will include an opinion from an independent expert as to whether the Minemakers' offer is fair and reasonable," Minemakers said.

The common directors are Ted Ellyard (chairman of Bonaparte), Andrew Drummond and Dennis Wilkins, who is the finance director of both companies. Each has indicated he will accept the Minemakers offer in the absence of a superior proposal and the independent expert concluding that the offer is reasonable. Their collective shareholdings comprise about 11.7% of the issued shares of Bonaparte.

In a separate statement Thursday, Bonaparte said its diamond operations at the Savanna mine in South Africa have been placed on care and maintenance due to the prevailing weak market for rough diamonds.

Minemakers' Chairman George Savell said: "This is a logical and value-adding proposal for both our shareholders and Bonaparte's shareholders, given the common strength of phosphate projects in both companies and the expertise we are gaining from our fast-track development of Wonarah.

"We believe that the integration of the companies will provide a strong strategic fit leading to improved scale and penetration of the world market for the supply of rock phosphate. The consolidation of phosphate interests will create opportunities to access new sources of development capital and to optimise marketing and sales arrangements worldwide".

The Minemakers' offer is subject to certain conditions including a 50.1% minimum acceptance condition, a no material adverse change condition and a no-prescribed occurrences condition. The full conditions of the offer will be set out in the Bidder's Statement.

In an earlier corporate life both Drummond and Ellyard were directors of Zephyr Minerals which in the 1990s was exploring for marine diamonds off the Kimberley coast of Western Australia, but that quest lost traction.

Later both played a key role in luring former South African marine diamond specialist Mike Woodborne to head the then new Bonaparte company to take up some of the former Zephyr offshore areas in the Kimberley's Bonaparte Gulf and to also undertake a marine quest off Namibia.

The Bonaparte Gulf quest failed quickly and Bonaparte began recovering diamonds off Namibia with another company in a joint venture that lapsed with the failing price for diamonds. However, Bonaparte discovered some significant marine phosphate deposits.

A statement issued by independent Bonaparte directors advised shareholders to take no action at this stage. "

Bonaparte establishes task team to study Minemakers’ offer - Mining Weekly, JOHANNESBURG - Mar 13, 2009
      www.miningweekly.com/article/bonaparte-establishes-task-team…

"JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – The board of ASX-listed diamond-miner Bonaparte has set up a takeover response committee, comprising independent directors, to study the unsolicited takeover offer from exploration company Minemakers.

Last week, Minemakers made a conditional scrip offer for all the shares in Bonaparte, on the basis of one Minemakers share for every ten Bonaparte shares. The offer was focused around the company’s Namibian marine phosphate project.

Bonaparte stated on Friday that it would appoint an independent expert who would prepare a report on whether the takeover offer was fair and reasonable, as well as his reasons for that opinion.

The independent directors would also carefully consider the offer made by Minemakers, in conjunction with the report being prepared by the independent expert.

However, the company said that while the offer was being explored, the company would continue to progress the fast-track development of its marine phosphate project in Namibia, with the objective of establishing a strong phosphate business that had entry into the global market.

During 2008, the Bonaparte board moved to advance the Namibian project, and capitalise on the growing world demand for fertilisers.

The company entered into a joint venture with ASX-listed Union Resource and Namibian partner Tungeni Investments, to incorporate the majority of the core enrichment zone of the phosphate deposit.

The marine sampling and resource delineation programme was advanced to demonstrate the potential of the phosphate deposit, and scoping and contracts with the relevant parties to clear the development path of the project were actively pursued.

To demonstrate its full commitment to the progress of the Namibian project, Bonaparte suspended diamond activities in South Africa during March this year, in response to the falling gemstone prices that accompanied the global financial crisis. "

Bonaparte likely to receive second takeover offer - Mining Weekly, JOHANNESBURG - Apr 17, 2009

      - Esmarie Swanepoel -
      www.miningweekly.com/article/bonaparte-likely-to-receive-sec…

"JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Bonaparte Diamonds on Friday advised shareholders that Union Resources would lodged a takeover bid for the company in the coming week.

Union had advised that the proposed bid would be by way of an all-scrip offer, and would be subject to certain conditions, including the completion of a $4-million rights issue.

The anticipated bid by Union would be competition to the initial bid for Bonaparte by Minemakers, which Bonaparte’s directors had recommended be accepted in the absence of a superior proposal.

The offer period for the Minemakers bid was due to close on April 28.

Bonaparte stated that as the terms of the proposed bid from Union had not yet been received, the independent directors of the company advised shareholders to take no action in relation to their shareholding, until the terms of Union’s bid was made known, and the directors had the opportunity to consider those terms.

Union is Bonaparte’s equal joint venture partner in the Sandpiper-Meob phosphate project, in Namibia, with the remaining 15% interest held by Namibian-based Tungeni Investments. "

Union Resources has positive report on dredging Sandpiper Phosphate Area, Namibia - Proactive Investors - Apr 24, 2009
      www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/1316/union-resourc…

"Union Resources Limited (ASX:UCL) has announced that it has received a Project Assessment Report, prepared by the Jan de Nul Group for the proposed dredging operations for its Sandpiper/Meob phosphate Joint Venture area of Namibia.

Jan De Nul Group is currently the biggest dredging contractor of the world operating the youngest, most modern and versatile fleet. They are leaders in developing dredging technology Jan de Nul considers that the dredging, storing on board and ashore of the Sandpiper material does not create any challenge from an engineering point of view, since this technology is already widely known and has been practice for several years, especially at Jan de Nul. They have determined that, at this stage of engineering the suction depth of its mega hopper Cristobal Colon can easily be extended to reach 225m water depth.

Union and its JV partners believe that the contents of this report represent a major advance in establishing the technical and economic viability of dredging our Namibian material. The report takes into account the proposed dredging depth, the material to be dredged, the accuracy required, the engineering issues, weather and sea conditions and general port requirements. They have also considered risk management strategies of currency and fuel hedging.

In the recently published resource estimate, 132 km2 of >15% phosphate material lies at depths less than 225m.

In June 2008 Union acquired Namibian company Sea Phosphates (Namibia) Pty Limited which holds two Exclusive Prospecting Licences nos. 3414 and 3415 ("the EPLs") issued by the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy for phosphates and precious stones. The EPLs lie approximately 60km offshore from the coast of Namibia between Walvis Bay and Luderitz, and make up Union’s Sandpiper Project.

In late October 2008 Union entered into a joint venture agreement ("the JVA") with another ASX-listed Australian Company, Bonaparte Diamond Mines NL ("Bonaparte") and Namibian company Tungeni Investments cc ("Tungeni") to jointly develop Union’s, Bonaparte’s and Tungeni’s combined marine phosphate tenements off the coast of Namibia.

Under the terms of the JVA, licenses held by Union in its Sandpiper Project and those held by Bonaparte/Tungeni in their Meob Project are to be transferred to a Joint Venture company to be held 42.5% each by Bonaparte and Union and 15% by Tungeni. The Meob Project has licenses adjacent to Union’s Sandpiper Project. "

Minemakers now owns majority stake in Bonaparte - Mining Weekly, JOHANNESBURG - May 8, 2009

      - Esmarie Swanepoel -
      www.miningweekly.com/article/minemakers-now-owns-majority-st…
      www.stocknessmonster.com/news-item?S=BON&E=ASX&N=446331

"JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Minemakers has acquired a 50,5% stake in phosphate explorer Bonaparte, under its off-market takeover offer for the Namibia-focused exploration company.

Minemakers now had majority control of Bonaparte.

As a result of the Minemakers takeover offer now being unconditional, it was proposed that all Bonaparte shareholders, which have lodged acceptances, would be issued with their respective Minemaker’s shares by mid-May.

In March, Minemakers made a conditional scrip offer for all the shares in Bonaparte, on the basis of one Minemakers share for every ten Bonaparte shares. The offer was focused around the company’s Namibian marine phosphate project.

Bonaparte said, at the time, that if the Minemaker’s offer was successful, the company would become part of the Minemaker group of companies, and should have improved opportunities and a broader access to the global equity markets for raising funds to support development of its flagship phosphate projects.

The takeover offer would also provide Bonaparte with access to additional exploration assets and diversify its risk.

Earlier in the week, Bonaparte joint-venture partner Union Resources also made abid for the company.

Meanwhile, the company has reported a “major advance” towards the viability of its Sandpiper/Meob phosphate project, off the coast of Namibia.

Bonaparte stated that it had been issued with a project assessment report on the proposed dredging operations in the project areas, as well as the renewal of two key exclusive prospecting licences for a further two years.

Along with its joint-venture (JV) partners, Union Resources and Tungeni Investments, Bonaparte believed that these developments represented a major advance in confirming the technical and economic viability of dredging the phosphate deposits, as well as in overall risk reduction, as the project was advanced to feasibility-study stage.

The project assessment report suggested that, at the current stage of engineering, the suction depth of the dredge vessel could be extended to reach a 225-m water depth. Bonaparte stated that based on the recently published inferred mineral resource estimate with the project area, there was about 132 km2 that lay at depths less than 225 m in the JV project area, containing some 238-million tons of inferred mineral resource, at an average grade of 17,7% phosphate.

The company stated that the compilation of the mining licence application, and the supporting documentation for the JV company was near completion, and the application was expected to be lodged in this month.

Currently, the resource development programme was progressing with completion of the balance of assays outstanding on the rest of the core samples recovered from one of the exploration licence areas, as well as results from closer spaced core samples collected in three 10 km2 areas, selected for the purpose of upgrading portions of the mineral resource to the indicated category.

“It is anticipated that the update of the mineral resource estimate from the first sampling campaign in the JV area will be finalised by midyear. This work is being carried out under Bonaparte’s supervision, in their role as resource development manager to the JV project, in consultation with Union,” the company said in a statement.

Earlier this week, Union made an unconditional scrip offer for Bonaparte. "

Minemakers now owns 94,3% of Bonaparte - Mining Weekly, JOHANNESBURG - Jul 10, 2009
      www.miningweekly.com/article/minemakers-now-owns-943-of-bona…

"JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Minemakers on Friday reported that it had acquired 94,32% of Bonaparte Diamonds, and would now move to compulsorily acquire the remaining shares of the marine phosphate explorer.

The explorer said that it would also seek to prompt the removal of Bonaparte shares from the official quotation on the ASX.

The increased offer of one Minemakers share for every nine Bonapare shares would apply in the takeover offer for the remaining shares, said Minemakers in a statement on Friday.

The takeover, which was announced in March this year, would allow the expanded Minemakers to potentially become a world-class rock phosphate supplier and would allow for administrative cost savings.

It would also enable the technical and management teams to become involved in both Minemakers’ Australian, and Bonaparte’s Namibian joint venture phosphate projects.

Minemakers stated that the primary justification for the takeover has been brought closer to fruition with the inferred resource estimate now exceeding 1,1-billion tons at Wonarah, in Australia, and almost 800-million tons in Namibia."

Approval for Bulk Sampling for Marketing Purposes - Jul 14, 2009
      www.stocknessmonster.com/news-item?S=MAK&E=ASX&N=452729

"The Northern Territory Government has given conditional approval to Minemakers’ plans to extract a bulk sample of over 10,000t of rock phosphate from Wonarah.

The principal reason for the bulk sample exercise is to provide large samples for testwork by potential customers. The first confirmed bulk test will be by Ballance Agri-Nutrients, New
Zealand. Ballance currently imports about 500,000 tonnes per annum.

The bulk sampling exercise will also provide invaluable mining and grade control data for the proposed full mining operation.

The Company records its appreciation of the decision by the Northern Territory Government and the Traditional Owners to allow this large sample to be taken under the terms of our Exploration Licence rather than having to await approval of a full Mining Lease.

      Managing Director, Andrew Drummond, stated:

“There has been much commercial interest shown in Wonarah rock phosphate, with several potential customers seeking further and larger samples for more detailed suitability testing. The Ballance request, and the approval which enables Minemakers to deliver it early, are very positive steps in the development of Wonarah.” "

+ Definitive feasibility study on Direct Shipping Ore due at the end of September 2009 Quarter.

+ Australia’s largest, and most advanced, new phosphate project.

+ Namibian Marine (42.5% Direct Interest), Joint Venture Inferred resources estimated now at 789,000,000t @ 17.5% P2O5. A substantial increase is expected shortly.

+ Metallurgical testwork is about to begin on the Moina fluorspar-magnetite-tintungsten- base metals and bismuth project in Tasmania. The testwork programme has been designed and, subject to laboratory and staff availability after the primary attention being given to Wonarah, it should be initiated in the September Quarter.

+ RC drilling at this old Aberfoyle tin-tungsten mine returned encouraging tin intersections along strike from the old workings. Overviewing to the north and north-east of the old Aberfoyle mine, the Minemakers’ drill results, in combination with the known Lutwyche and Kookaburra systems, lead to encouragement for mine development in that sector.

+ Fraser Iron: No fieldwork was undertaken this Quarter. The Company notes the 37% increase in resources announced by Grange Resources Ltd for the central and eastern sectors of the Southdown magnetite system to 654.4 Mt @ 36.5% magnetite. This is encouraging for Minemakers which holds the western part of the mineral system. In view of the high capital cost to bring a magnetite mine on stream, the Company is looking at a partnering arrangement and has been holding discussions with several foreign concerns. A limited drilling programme is being planned to test the highly magnetic new targets at West Southdown, Frankland and East Frankland in the latter half of the year.

+ Port Keats Salt, NT: The Northern Land Council has recommended a solution to the impasse which has resulted in Minemakers thus far not being able to drill test its huge salt dome target. A meeting with the relevant Traditional Owners is now anticipated to be held in the next month or so and it is hoped that this will enable drilling of the target this year.

+ Minemakers has attained acceptances in respect of 95.98% of Bonaparte’s issued shares, and that takeover target was delisted from the ASX on 20 July 2009.

+ The Company acquired a 9.64% stake in ASX-listed Union Resources Limited.

+ Minemakers is currently raising funds through an SPP, subscriptions for which close on 31 July 2009. Subject to shareholders’ approval at General Meeting, up to 100M shares can be issued. At 17 July 2009, funds received under the SPP had reached $4.6M.

+zu Wonarah: The drilling to date has tested about 15% of the extent of mineralisation determined by the previous operator

+ DSO Drilling and Resources: The potential Direct Shipping Ore (“DSO”) sub-zone of the Arruwurra Deposit has been drilled out at a 125m x 125m grid and all assays should be in hand during July and the DSO
resource should be estimated in August.

+ In the Main Zone Deposit, infill 250m x 250m has indicated several zones potentially amenable to DSO mining, based on a 30% P2O5 cut-off (refer Figure 4). These zones are numerous (250m – 500m wide) and elongate and also require 125m x 125m grid drilling. This should begin at about the end of July when the requisite approvals are in hand. Estimation of potential DSO resources, mineralisation modelling and pit design will follow.

+ Shareholders are reminded that Minemakers’ objective with its DSO evaluation programme is to find sufficient material to run a Wonarah mining operation for 6 to 10 years before a beneficiation plant needs to be built should global economics so demand.

+ Mine Planning: Grade-tonnage curves have been generated from the resource models and work has been initiated on mine optimisation and dilution modelling. Preliminary designs are expected shortly.

+ Metallurgy and Mineralogy: Metallurgical testwork has continued, particularly on Arruwurra material. It has included flotation testwork and mineralogical analysis. A diamond drilling programme has recently been completed in the Main Zone to provide the material required for testwork in Adelaide, and that work has begun. The drill core is also being used for mineralisation density confirmation, geochemical investigations and production of further marketing samples. Minemakers aims to complete all testwork required to design the beneficiation plant for Stage II of Wonarah’s development with its current technical team, to be able to move to construction as soon as marketing and financial considerations demand it.

+ Hydrological Investigations: Within our tenements to the south of the Barkly Highway, some 8,999m of water search drilling has been completed, but with overall disappointing results. The volcanic rocks below the phosphate have generally proved to have low permeability below the water table. The Company now aims to source water from the alluvial areas to the north of the tenements and drilling should begin shortly after the statutory approvals are acquired. The delay in finding sufficient quantities of water is likely to retard the completion of the feasibility study and Environmental Impact Study by about 4-6 weeks.

+ Off-Site Infrastructure, Freight Logistics and Mining, Principal areas of advancement include:

      I) A Heads of Agreement has been signed with the Darwin Port Corporation establishing a framework for intended arrangements regarding the Company’s use of port facilities.

II) Preliminary design work on the ore off-loading system at Darwin has been completed and also for its re-handling near Tennant Creek.

III) A suitable site for ore storage adjacent to the Port and the railway has been identified in consultation with the Land Development Corporation and negotiations on securing it are progressing well.

IV) The railway operator, FreightLink, and the Darwin Port Corporation are submitting a proposal for the Port and rail system upgrade based on the Commonwealth Government’s infrastructure stimulus, and this would benefit the Minemakers proposed operation.

      V) Discussions were progressed significantly with a freight logistics consortium of road and rail hauliers, ore re-handlers at Tennant Creek and stevedores with the objective of attaining a “one stop shop” for the transport of product to Darwin. An alternative haulage proposal is currently being prepared by another party and a decision on moving forward to a Heads of Agreement will be deferred until receipt of this submission.

VI) For the earthmoving, site works and mining contracts, preferred candidates have been successfully identified, and a decision is expected shortly.

+ Stakeholders and Aboriginal Matters, A public meeting was held in Tennant Creek to present the development plans and it met with an enthusiastic response. Meetings have been held with the NT’s Chief Minister, Minister of Regional Development and the Minister for Mines, as well as key Opposition Members.

+ Permitting: The Mineral Lease application is progressing well. The statutory advertising period closed without any objections being lodged. Discussions with the Traditional Landowners and the CLC on a Mining Agreement are generally on schedule. On the environmental assessment side, the news has been mixed. Due to a change in Departmental practices and the large area to be affected by a long-life mining operation, the Minister determined that the Project needed to be assessed by submission of a full Environmental Impact Statement, and this will impact on the completion time. On the other hand, the responsible Federal Department determined that Wonarah is not a ‘controlled act’ under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act and this has allowed finalisation of draft Environmental Impact Statement Guidelines. These were exhibited for public comment, which closed on 3 July 2009, with final guidelines to be issued during July 2009. The non-statutory timeframes for consideration of the various aspects of the approvals processes are proving longer than had been anticipated or earlier advised to the Company and it is now targeting approvals towards the end of the first quarter 2010. Minemakers is seeking agreement of the Traditional Landowners for pre-approval development of infrastructure to allow siteworks to begin during December 2009 – January 2010. Shareholders will be informed of progress in due course.

+ Bulk Sampling and Trial Mining: The Northern Territory Government has given conditional approval to Minemakers’ plans to extract a bulk sample of over 10,000t of rock phosphate from Wonarah. The principal reason for the bulk sample exercise is to provide large samples for testwork by potential customers. The first confirmed bulk test will be by Ballance Agri-Nutrients Limited of New Zealand. Ballance currently imports about 500,000 tonnes per annum. The bulk sampling exercise will also provide invaluable mining and grade control data for the proposed full mining operation and is anticipated to be undertaken at about the end of the September Quarter.

+ Future Work, In the forthcoming quarter, the following tasks are expected to be advanced or completed:

      + The definitive feasibility study.
+ DSO drill-out and resource estimation.
      + Modelling and pit design.
      + Hydrological drilling.
      + Beneficiation metallurgy.
      + Permitting and approvals.
      + Mining contracts.
      + Freight contracts.
      + Port contracts.
+ Trial mining and/or bulk sampling.

+ Mine Financing: The global financial crisis has impacted both the Company’s share price and the ability and enthusiasm of institutions to invest in mine start-up capital. During the Quarter, the Executive Directors presented extensively to potential financiers and generally met with a cautious but positive response to the project and its economic potential. It is aimed to raise the start-up capital using the completed feasibility and on the back of the reasonably anticipated future rise in rock phosphate price. The Company is currently raising funds through a Share Purchase Plan (“SPP”), for which subscriptions close on 31 July 2009. The Company welcomes the market’s and shareholders’ enthusiasm for the SPP. The aim is to secure adequate funding to complete all facets of the feasibility study and to begin site works ahead of further fund raising for a mining operation. ASX and ASIC exemptions/waivers have been received in relation to the SPP so that shareholders can apply for up to $15,000 of shares at 43 cents each, and subject to
shareholders’ approval at General Meeting to be held on 7 August 2009, to the issue of up to 100,000,000 new shares under the SPP.

Resource Increases Namibian Marine Phosphate Deposits Reveal World-Class Status - Jul 27, 2009

      SUMMARY

+ JORC-compliant mineral resource estimates for the Namibian marine Joint Venture deposits have been increased to:

      47.6 Mt @ 21.4% P2O5, Indicated resource category; plus
      1,364 Mt @ 18.7% P2O5, Inferred resource category; for a total of
      1,412 Mt @ 18.8% P2O5, across both categories.

+ The Indicated mineral resource results from close spaced sampling in two trial areas from within the extensive phosphatic deposits. Results from a third area are due shortly.

+ The resource estimates can reasonably be regarded as conservative as they result from sampling of only the uppermost two metres of the phosphate sediments: historic drilling has indicated that the mineralisation can be up to six metres thick in places. ...

Share Purchase Plan Overwhelmingly Oversubscribed - Aug 5, 2009
      www.stocknessmonster.com/news-item?S=MAK&E=ASX&N=455860

"Minemakers Limited is pleased to announce an extraordinary level of support from the Company's existing shareholders which has resulted in subscriptions in excess of the ceiling for the Share Purchase Plan (“SPP”).

As at close of business yesterday the company had close to $50 million in applications for SPP shares. The maximum the Company will be permitted to accept, subject to approval of various resolutions at tomorrow's General Meeting, is $43 million.

While this is great news for the Company it will unfortunately result in a scale back to some applications, and allocations will be advised on schedule next week.

The Company will have very close to $50 million in working capital following the issue and allotment of the SPP shares. This will place it in a very strong financial position with which to pursue the development of the Wonarah phosphate project aggressively.

Your Board of Directors takes this opportunity to express their sincere gratitude and thanks for the most encouraging show of shareholder support.

It is also appropriate at this time to advise that last night Minemakers was granted the prestigious “Emerging Company” award at the Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum in Kalgoorlie.

The Board and Management look forward to building your Company into a world force in the phosphate industry.

Drill Testing of Port Keats Rock Salt Target - Sep 1, 2009

      HIGHLIGHTS

+ Minemakers has gained approvals to drill test the very large Port
Keats rock salt exploration target in the Northern Territory which is 100% owned by Minemakers (Salt) Pty Ltd.

+ The geophysical target will be drilled to determine whether it is caused by a large deposit of rock salt and whether it might also have a potash sheath around it.

+ If the wildcat drill hole finds salt, it will open the potential for largescale production of salt by a relatively simple, cheap and low environmental impact solution mining technique.

+ This production would be proximal to existing Asian and potential
      Darwin markets.

Minemakers expects Namibia marine phosphate scoping study in Q4 - Mining Weekly, PERTH - Sep 4, 2009

      - Esmarie Swanepoel -
      www.miningweekly.com/article/minemakers-expects-namibia-mari…

"PERTH (miningweekly.com) - ASX-listed phosphate miner Minemakers' scoping study for its Sandpaper/Meob phosphate project, off the coast of Namibia, is likely to be completed in the fourth quarter, GM Mike Woodborne said on Friday.

Speaking at the Africa Downunder conference, he stated that the company would complete its current resource development programme in the next two weeks, after which it would undertake further sampling of the project area.

Woodborne said that the sampling would go down to 5 m, which would penetrate well below the 2 m boundary that has been researched and established for the resource base. He noted that the data collected from this sampling would further assist in completing the feasibility studies.

Minemakers would work on the feasibility study during 2010, and would aim to go to production by 2011.

Minemakers was currently in a joint venture with Australia's Union Resources and black-empowered Tugeni Investments, to develop the 8 000 km2 marine phosphate project.

The project has an estimated inferred resource of around 1,5-billion tons, at around 18,7%, and an indicated resource estimate of 73,9-million tons, at 20,57% phosphate.

The phosphate would be mined from the seabed on the coast of Namibia and transported to the Richard's Bay terminal, where it would go through land-based processing. Woodborne noted that the location of the plant would enable Minemakers to focus on exporting the final product, specifically to the American, Asian and African markets.

Minemakers acquired fellow Australian junior Bonaparte earlier this year. "

The company developing a rock phosphate deposit on the Northern Territory's Barkly Tablelands says the region needs a rail connection between Tennant Creek and Mount Isa in north-west Queensland.

Minemakers hope to begin direct shipping of ore from their Wonarah deposit, east of Tennant Creek, in the middle of next year.

The company says it will need a roster of 150 truck drivers to ship the ore at its planned production rates of three million tonnes per year.

Minemakers' managing director Andrew Drummond says the company would consider paying for a rail spur line from Tennant Creek once it begins improving ore grades on site.

"It'll cost us a lot of money, but we will go ahead and do it when it's justified and when we can raise the money, but it is a dead end," he said.

"What would be much better, not only for us but for the Mount Isa district, for the development of Australia, transport, defence, all sorts of things, would be a rail link between Mount Isa and Tennant Creek."

Bulk Sampling Begins on Premium Grade Wonarah Phosphate - Oct 7, 2009

      HIGHLIGHTS

+ The direct shipping ore (“DSO”) bulk sampling programme at the Arruwurra Rock Phosphate Deposit has begun.

+ At an expected mined grade of 35 - 36% P2O5 and with impurities at very low levels, the phosphate product is likely to compare very favourably with highest quality products available elsewhere in the world, and a price premium can reasonably be anticipated when full scale production begins.

+ Bulk sample product, requested by potential long-term offtake customers, will be shipped from Darwin in December 2009 and, from a second stage of excavation if required, in early 2010.

+ Drilling of the more extensive Main Zone Deposit has identified areas of similar premium grade and these are currently being drilled out.

      17 November 2009

      HIGHLIGHTS

      · A major milestone will be attained on Monday, 23 November, when the Wonarah Environmental Impact Statement goes on public exhibition and is lodged with the Northern Territory Government for its consideration.

      · The trial mining pit to produce bulk samples for marketing is proceeding well and samples are expected to leave site in the first half of December.

      · Initial marketing efforts in India have been encouraging and will be followed up in early December with a further visit to managements of potential major customers.

      ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

There are three key elements to gaining the approvals needed for mining of Wonarah Phosphate:

      i) Grant of a Mining Lease. With all surveying done, the grant is expected shortly.

ii) A Traditional Owners’ Agreement. Negotiations with the Traditional Owners, through meetings organised by the Central Land Council (“CLC”), have been mutually satisfactory. Our solicitors and the CLC are drafting the Agreement with an anticipated signing date in April 2010.

iii) Environmental Approvals. In combination with its consultants, Coffey Natural Systems, Minemakers has been carrying out a full study on the environmental, social and economic impacts of the mining, freight and export of Wonarah phosphate.

The resultant Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”) will be lodged with the Northern Territory Department of Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism and Sport (“DNRETAS”) on Monday 23 November. Copies of the EIS will be on exhibition at various locations in Darwin, Tennant Creek and the Barkly regions. It will also be available electronically on the DNRETAS and Minemakers websites, or available for purchase in hard copy or on disc from the Company. There will be a 29 day public comment period from that day.

Pre-lodgement meetings were held in Darwin last week with officers from DNRETAS, also the Resources and Energy Department, Department of Planning and Infrastructure – NT Roads, and those of the Chief Minister’s office. An inspection was then carried out on site and at Tennant Creek by assessment officers from DNRETAS.

The lodgement will be the culmination of about 18 months of study on the proposed mine and its impacts, and represents a major milestone for development of it.

      BULK SAMPLING

The bulk sampling is proceeding according to plan, with some 43,000 of the necessary 170,000 bank cubic metres mined to date.
Samples to potential customers should leave site before the middle of December.

      MARKETING

India is the largest importer of rock phosphate and positive meetings were held with major fertiliser manufacturers there earlier this month. High level follow-up meetings are scheduled for early December.

Overall markets and prices remain weak but the industry expects them to rebound. Difficult harvesting conditions in North America, and poor weather in India and Pakistan are causing current concern about crop yields and grain prices have risen strongly recently. The world has been under-fertilising since the bubble in prices last year and will have to increase application rates so as to maintain optimum nutrient levels and maximise yields.

Wonarah is on track to be in production in mid 2011 to sell into this anticipated demand increase cycle.

      MINING IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY
Trial mining for new Australian phosphate project

The first stage for developing the Wonarah rock phosphate deposit in Australia's Northern Territory has been completed with the bulk sampling and trial mining of over 2,000 tonnes of high grade material.
      Author: Ross Louthean

      PERTH -

Minemakers Ltd (ASX: MAK) said today that it has now road-hauled the first trial parcel of Wonarah ore to the port of Darwin for shipping to potential customers in India and New Zealand.

The material came from the Arruwurra deposit at Wonarah.

Managing director Andrew Drummond said the customers in India and NZ will conduct "confirmatory trials" of the suitability of the Wonarah phosphate for their fertiliser plants.

He said export of this rock phosphate was understood to be the first from the Northern Territory and the first from a new Australian phosphate mine for many years.

"The very substantial JORC-compliant resource position at Wonarah -- the largest in Australia -- underpins Minemakers' intention to be a major producer for a long time," Drummond said.

Following recent meetings in Asia with other potential customers, it was likely there would be further shipments to India and Korea early in the New Year.

The company said all approvals were in hand for a Stage II test mining and sampling programme to enable that marketing to occur.

International DAP prices have risen strongly by 15% so far this month, as predicted by the company. This, Drummond said, was likely to lead to higher rock phosphate prices in the New Year.

He said that considering field work was only initiated in April 2008, that the project is on Aboriginal-owned land, and that the trial mining needed several approvals, the ability to find and export high grade trial product in only 20 months was "a remarkable achievement."

The NT Government had given Major Project Status to the Wonarah development and there had also been support from various NT departments, the Aboriginal Wunara Community, and the Central Land Council.

"Minemakers Limited announced that as a result of its 2009 drilling programme, the Company is confident that the objective of locating sufficient high grade phosphate for a 10 year Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) at the Wonarah Rock Phosphate Project can be achieved.

      At a 25% P2O5 cut-off, the Main Zone Deposit has an estimated Indicated plus Inferred resource estimate of 66Mt @ 28% P2O5, while at a 27% P2O5 cut-off, it is 38Mt @ 30% P2O5.

At the Arruwurra Deposit, the high grade core has an Indicated and Inferred resource at a 15% P2O5 cut-off, estimated at 4.7Mt @ 30.2% P2O5. The Company said this is the likely first production area as access to site and exposure of the mineralisation was established during the recent bulk sampling and trial mining programme. "

Minemakers Limited Has Confirmed the Potential for a 10 Year Direct Shipping Ore Operation at the Wonarah Rock Phosphate Project, With Production Scheduled to Commence by the End of the Year - Australianinvestor, Cover Story - Feb10

      - Minemakers Limited is a mineral explorer committed to exploring and developing its projects in Australia and Namibia. -
      http://australianinvestor.com.au/magazine.asp?id=3236

"The Company’s flagship project is the Wonarah Rock Phosphate Project located in the Northern Territory. The Project is the largest undeveloped phosphate project in Australia, with a JORC resource standing at 1.2 billion tonnes of high-grade phosphate, with a cut-off grade at 12% P2O5.

Minemakers is focused on completing all requirements for the Project to the lead up to production by the end of 2010.

The Company announced encouraging news this week, which supports its production goal.

As a result of the 2009 drilling program at Wonarah, Minemakers reported it is confident that the objective of locating sufficient high grade phosphate for a 10 year Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) operation has been achieved.

The provision of resource estimations on deposits within Wonarah based on drilling to date by Hellman & Schofield Pty Limited has highlighted the Project’s DSO potential.

At a 25% P2O5 cut-off, the Main Zone Deposit has an estimated Indicated plus Inferred resource estimate of 66 million tonnes at 28% P2O5, while at a 27% P2O5 cut-off, it is 38 million tonnes at 30% P2O5. At a 0% P2O5 cut-off, the Main Zone Deposit has an Indicated plus Inferred resource estimate of 1117 million tonnes at 11% P2O5.

The high grade areas in the Main Zone Deposit have not been closed off by drilling and with only 20% of the deposit tested and strong mineralisation areas identified, further resource increases are confidently anticipated and underpin Wonarah’s potential for a multi-decade minelife.

At the Arruwurra Deposit, the high grade core has an Indicated and Inferred resource at a 15% P2O5 cut-off, estimated at 4.7 million tonnes at 30.2% P2O5. The Company said this will most likely be the first production area as access to site and exposure of the mineralisation was established during the recent bulk sampling and trial mining program.

The total combined Main Zone and Arruwurra resource estimate at a 0% P2O5 cut-off is 1258 million tonnes at12% P2O5.

Mr. Dean Richardson, Investor Relations Manager at Minemakers Limited said the resource updates provide validation that the Wonarah Rock Phosphate Project will have a long minelife, “The results are significant because they demonstrate that we have been able to prove that Wonarah can provide up to 10 years of DSO. The Project has a high-grade low contaminant phosphate resource within the deposit, which will allow for low cost production at start up.”

Minemakers will commence additional drilling at Wonarah and will complete all necessary steps towards phosphate production by the end of the year, “In the first quarter, we expect to complete the Feasibility Study and should receive mining lease approval for Wonarah. Currently we are talking to a lot of potential customers and this should remain ongoing for the first half of the year. Our final decision to mine will be made in the second quarter,” Mr. Richardson told the Australian Investor.

He credited Minemaker’s skilled management for the encouraging results from the Wonarah Rock Phosphate Project, “Our Company has outstanding management and directors who are very experienced in mining and geology. We also have a quality resource at Wonarah with excellent access to infrastructure, close to the Darwin-Adelaide railway and Darwin port.”

Looking to the future, Mr. Richardson concluded, “Our main priority this year is to establish ourselves as a major player in the rock phosphate and phosphate fe products market. We will aim to commence production at Wonarah and will also focus on our marine phosphate project in Namibia. Here we are currently completing the Scoping Study and anticipate a finished Feasibility Study by the end of the year.”

The comparatively low price for phosphate has slowed the development of a mine in the Barkly region, but approvals for the mine to go ahead are still falling into place.

Minemakers was pushing forward plans to develop the mine to capitalise on attractive global phosphate prices.

But the global economic crisis resulted in a drop in the phosphate price and slowed development down.

Minemakers managing director Andrew Drummond says they are confident phosphate demand will increase given current trends.

The company has just been given a 25 year title to mine for minerals over an area of about 100 square kilometres.

There are two more approvals required; one from Traditional Owners and another stating the conditions for mining based on an Environmental Impact Statement

Mr Drummond explains the initial environmental impact study undertaken didn't take into account the potential management of cane toads.

"We didn't have a cane toad amelioration policy because we didn't know there were any cane toads.

"It was a box we didn't realise we had to tick so we're attending to a few things like that."

The potential for alternative energy uses also has to be looked into and he says they're hoping that process will be signed off by the end of May.

Mr Drummond says the mine should be at full production at the end of 2011.

      Hallo Recession,

Habe mir gerade die eingestellte aktuelle Presentation mal angeschaut(u.a. Was siehst Du daran anders??

- The Northern Territory Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage has advised that the Environmental Impact Assessment process for the Wonarah
      Projects been concluded.

      - Minemakers’ proposed DSO mining and ore transport operation can be managed without unacceptable environmental impact.

      - Submission and approval of a Mining Management Plan and signing of the Mining Agreement with the Aboriginal landowners are now the only permitting stages
      requiring completion.

On April 30, the Minister stated: “I have been advised that the Minemakers draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Supplement demonstrated a systematic, comprehensive, high quality approach to impact identification, analysis, reduction, mitigation (and in some cases offsets), that has generally left stakeholders and Government satisfied that potential issues have been appropriately identified and addressed.

It is now critical to the achievement of acceptable environmental outcomes that the mitigation measures and commitments / recommendations proposed by Minemakers and Assessment Report 64 are followed through to implementation. I trust Minemakers will take the same high standard approach to managing environmental impacts as it has to the environmental impact assessment process.”

The Department has provided an Assessment Report on the planned DSO operation for the Project and this report included a series of recommendations governing environmental management issues. Minemakers will address these in the Mine Management Plan (“MMP”) which is currently being formulated.

The Company is now most pleased that its EIS was able to be formulated, assessed and approved in only 25 months since beginning fieldwork at Wonarah.

Managing Director Andrew Drummond commented: “It is a tribute to the hard work and professionalism of the Company’s management, its specialist environmental consultants and to the successful interaction with the officers of the Department that this major task was completed in such a relatively short time.”

Submission and acceptance of the MMP, and conclusion of the Mining Agreement with the Aboriginal landowners, are now the only permitting tasks remaining. It is anticipated that they will be completed in the third quarter.

A PROPOSED phosphate mine in the Territory could start operating as early as this year after Chinese investors showed interest in the project.

The Georgina Basin, about 250km east of Tennant Creek, is believed to contain Australia's largest phosphate deposits.

Minemakers wants to start an open cut mine with an onsite beneficiation plant. The ore would be exported through Darwin.

A feasibility study into the potential mine is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.

But Minemakers business development and marketing general manager Mike Erwin said talks with Chinese businesses in Nanjing had shown they were keen to jump on board.

He said investors were crucial to kick-start the project.

"Until we get the financing for the mine we really can't grow," he said.

Mr Erwin was among a Territory delegation, led by NT Resources Minister Kon Vatskalis, that travelled to Nanjing to take part in the NT Investment Seminar yesterday.

The conference attracted about 200 delegates from China, more than twice the number anticipated. It focussed on building friendships, making business and putting the Northern Territory on the map.

Mr Erwin said he was blown away by the interest shown at the meeting. "To get a lot of Chinese investors in one place is just amazing," he said.

Increasing amounts of phosphate was needed to fertilise food as China's population continues to grow.

The country has massive amounts of the resource, but Mr Erwin said China was forced to look for alternatives with the deposits reaching their limits.

Minemakers has reported that the beneficiation test work currently being carried out at its Namibian phosphate project by Bateman Advanced Technologies Limited, as part of the Project Scoping Study, has produced encouraging initial results.

Minemakers acquired its direct equity in the Sandpiper/Meob Joint Venture marine phosphate project in offshore Namibia via the acquisition in July 2009 of Bonaparte Diamonds Mines NL . The company has two projects in Namibia, the Sandpiper/Meob JV and the Rocky Point Project.

The company said heavy liquid separation studies show that the phosphate rich size fraction (1mm to +0.074mm) can be enriched up to 26% P2O5, from whole rock samples with an average grade of 18-21% P2O5, using standard gravity separation techniques.

In addition, preliminary wet screening and attrition tests have shown trends favouring a slight improvement in the P2O5 concentrate grade along with partial removal of the contaminant gangue including iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), aluminium (Al) and insoluble matter into the slimes waste stream (tailings) from the phosphate rich-size fraction.

Minemakers said further attrition tests are now being carried out at higher energy conditions to assess whether the increase in energy improves the grade in concentrate and the further removal of contaminant gangue.

The attrition and heavy liquid test work results indicate that the trends are coherent per layer in the two layers comprising the ore horizon and that the shelly layer 1 (top layer) and layer 2 (middle layer) are able to be blended as composites.

Andrew Drummond, managing director, said from the results to date it would appear that layer 2 is more responsive to heavy liquid separation mainly due to more complete liberation of the phosphate particles versus layer 1 size fractions.

The company said the attrition test work and heavy liquid separation analysis is ongoing, however the results to date confirm "the historical data from previous work carried out and provide further encouragement that the P2O5 concentrate grade can be improved along with contaminant gangue being satisfactorily reduced."

The Bateman Advanced Technology Limited work final report setting out the test work result is expected to be issued in Q3 - 2010.

Minemakers sees development of the Sandpiper/Meob project as the natural expansion strategy for establishing two geographic distribution centres to supply growing global phosphate requirements and places the company in the unique position of having two significant deposits targeting independent fertilizer producers.

The project is a JV between Minemakers and Union Resources Limited (ASX: UCL) and a Namibian owned company Tungeni Investments cc. and is focused on an accelerated programme for development of the combined areas and plans to commence mining 2011 at a target output of up to 3 million tonnes per annum.

In addition to current efforts on resource delineation, investigations and discussions are being progressed with several reputable organizations in the key areas of marine mining/dredging technology, beneficiation and potential offtake candidates.

MAK von der "Super"-Tax nicht betroffen:

      02.07.10

Phosphate miner relieved by new tax deal

Northern Territory Resources Minister Kon Vatskalis has welcomed the mining tax deal.

The Federal Government today announced it will apply a 30 per cent tax to the mining industry's most profitable commodities - iron ore, coal, oil and gas.

"We've got only one iron ore mine in the Territory and we've got uranium and probably we have other mines coming along with phosphate and they will be exempt," Mr Vatskalis said. "That's fantastic news for Tennant Creek because one of the biggest phosphate mines will be located in Tennant Creek. "Some of the other low-value minerals like zinc and manganese probably will be exempted."

Minemakers, which is planning to set up the phosphate mine at Tennant Creek, says an exemption from the new tax will allow it to reinvest in the project and assist in getting overseas investment. "Not having that super tax meant we'd have something like an extra $193 million left in the project," its manager, Andrew Drummond, said.
"That money would then go to get a rail link ... to expand into phosphate fertiliser production and to make it a long-life mine after the very high-grade initial material is worked out in the first decade or so."

The Territory Opposition's Kezia Purick says smaller mining companies have faced massive share losses during the dispute between the Federal Government and mining companies. She says they will struggle to raise finance under the new system. "We still have the issue of smaller companies trying to raise finance on the international market," she said. "And that's what I think this Government has failed to understand is the minerals industry is an international industry. "I've had meetings with a couple of the smaller players in the Northern Territory and they are struggling to get finance from the international market."

Independent mining analyst Peter Strachan says companies looking to set up onshore oil and gas mines in the Northern Territory will pay more tax under the new mining tax. However, he says other companies with Territory resources in their sights will benefit from it. "It really is good for the new mine developers like your phosphate people there, like the people at Tennant Creek who are looking for copper and gold because they will continue to operate under the existing royalty regime for copper, gold, lead, mineral sands or whatever."

      Das sehen sogar Ökos ein:

      http://www.biofarmer.de/bsl/b5d_S1_duengemittel.htm

      http://www.blaufell.de/pdfdateien/biokreis_richtlinien.pdf?X… (--> 8.4. und Anhang 1)

      .......

      Ciao

      26-July-10

Shares in Minemakers jumped to the highest in almost two months after saying it would offer half of the company in exchange for debt funding for its Wonarah phosphate project in the Northern Territory. Minemakers shares were up three cents, or 12.5 per cent, at 27 cents at 1202 AEST.

Minemakers said it had inked an agreement with financial advisory firm Verte Group to attract Asian parties to finance the potentially multi-billion dollar development.

"The strategic investors being sought by Verte will be expected to provide equity funding to Minemakers by subscribing for new Minemakers shares at a substantial premium to the current share price," the minerals explorer said in a statement on Monday.

The investors would take a stake in the company of up to 50 per cent once arrangements for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) funding were finalised, Minemakers said.

The company said it expected EPC funding and equity funding to be finalised by the second quarter of 2011.

The cost of developing a three million tonne a year project, including a rail link to Tennant Creek, could cost up to $620 million.

"However the development of a beneficiation plant and associated infrastructure, including a gas pipeline to the site, could cost several billion dollars," Minemakers said.

It said Wonarah was one of the world's largest and highest grade undeveloped phosphate resources.

"Global phosphate sources are declining while phosphate fertilisers, crucial for mass food production, are being used on an increasing scale as the agriculture industry struggles to keep pace with demand," Minemakers said.

siehe 1.: Asian strategic investors (“Strategic Investors”) to provide the necessary debt funding for engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC Funding”) of:

       a large beneficiation plant at the Wonarah rock phosphate project (“Wonarah”);
 a 260km railway from the Wonarah minesite to the Adelaide to Darwin railway
      near Tennant Creek;
       a gas pipeline to site from near Tennant Creek;
       a transport hub facility near Tennant Creek, if required;
 required storage and related facilities at the port of Darwin; and

China May Limit Phosphate-Fertilizer Exports After Stock Drop, Mosaic Says
      By Christopher Donville - Oct 6, 2010 4:27 AM GMT+0800

China may restrict exports of phosphate-based fertilizers after record shipments in July and August reduced domestic inventories, said Mike Rahm, Mosaic Co.?s chief market strategist.

?Government officials are increasingly concerned about the availability of phosphate products for domestic farmers and are closely monitoring the situation,? Rahm said today on a conference call with investors and analysts. ?We believe officials will take whatever measures are necessary, including more restrictive export policies, to ensure adequate supplies of competitively priced phosphate for domestic farmers.?

The prices of diammonium phosphate and other phosphate- based fertilizers have soared since June as grain futures rose amid concern about the impact of adverse weather conditions on crops in western Canada and Russia, Chief Executive Officer Jim Prokopanko said yesterday in a telephone interview.

Mosaic, North America?s second-largest fertilizer producer, yesterday reported fiscal first-quarter profit that trailed analysts? estimates after saying its long-term phosphate supply contracts restricted its ability to fully capitalize on price gains.

Earnings per share in the three months through August were 67 cents, trailing the 71-cent average estimate of 18 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. Still, net income nearly tripled to $297.7 million from $100.6 million, or 23 cents a share, a year earlier, Plymouth, Minnesota-based Mosaic said in a statement. Sales increased 50 percent to $2.19 billion.

      Prices Rise
Diammonium phosphate was sold for $431 on average in the quarter, 55 percent more than a year earlier, Mosaic said in the statement. Sales of phosphates rose 6.9 percent to 3.1 million tons because of strong demand in North America and Brazil.

Diammonium phosphate prices for immediate delivery in Florida have increased 66 percent this year.
Mosaic, 64 percent owned by closely held Cargill Inc., rose $2.01, or 3.4 percent, to $60.80 at 4:15 p.m. in New York Stock Exchange composite trading. The shares have gained 1.8 percent this year.

Minemakers in talks with NMDC over Wonarah phosphate deposit
MINEMAKERS shares rose nearly 18 per cent on speculation the phosphate hopeful was talking to an Indian giant about its Australian project.

Reports out of India suggested overnight that National Mineral Development Corp was set to acquire stakes in a series of Australian mining projects, including Minemakers' phosphate operation.

Shares in Minemakers were 17.86 per cent higher at 49 cents on the talk.

The Indian Express reported that NMDC was likely to sign a memorandum of understanding with Minemakers over the Wonarah deposit in the Northern Territory, which is described by Minemakers as Australia's largest undeveloped rock phosphate project.

The company, in an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange, confirmed that it has had confidential discussions about developing Wonarah project with representatives of NDMC, and added that talks were continuing.

``Minemakers will provide information to the market in compliance with its continuous disclosure obligations if and when an outcome to those discussions is reached,'' the company said.

The company also said it had an agreement with investment group Verte Group until August 31, 2011, covering pre-engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and EPC Asian investment in Minemakers.

Minemakers advises that Minemakers and Verte Group Ltd have agreed to an early termination of the agreement between the two companies concerning facilitation of pre-EPC and EPC Asian investment in Minemakers to fund development of the Wonarah phosphate deposit.

      The termination is effective immediately.

Minemakers is now free to pursue alternative funding and development options for the Wonarah phosphate deposit.

Minemakers has signed a non-binding, Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Bombay Stock Exchange listed NMDC Limited (BSE Symbol: NMDC; market capitalisation AU$21 Billion) to establish a pathway for the development of the Wonarah Phosphate deposit in the Northern Territory.

Under the MOU relevant NMDC management staff will join the Minemakers team to undertake a joint Feasibility Study into the agreed aspects of the full development of Wonarah, Australia’s largest known, undeveloped, phosphate deposit.

The proposed Wonarah development will include a mine and downstream processing facilities to produce beneficiated rock phosphate for export; phosphoric acid (an intermediate product); and finished fertiliser products such as DAP and MAP (Diammonium Phosphate and Monoammonium Phosphate).

The Feasibility Study is intended to be sufficiently advanced by early fourth quarter 2011 such that the results will support Minemakers and NMDC signing a full Joint Venture Agreement (“JVA”) governing the completion of bankable feasibility, financing and development of Wonarah and the downstream fertiliser manufacturing facilities.

The terms of the JVA will be negotiated during the advancement of the Feasibility Study, beginning shortly.

The general terms of the JVA are anticipated to include:

      • NMDC to acquire a 50% equity in the Wonarah Project.
      • NMDC will have responsibility for arranging project finance for the full development of Wonarah, by way of debt finance.
      • Repayment by NMDC to Minemakers of certain project and other costs already incurred on the Wonarah project to date.

Wonarah, which is 100% owned by Minemakers, has JORC and NI43-101 resources
      currently estimated at:

      Indicated Inferred Total
      @ 0% Cut Off 536Mt @ 12.8% P2O5 722Mt @ 11% P2O5 1,258Mt @ 12% P2O5
      @ 10% Cut Off 289Mt @ 18.5% P2O5 331Mt @ 17% P2O5 620Mt @ 18% P2O5

Minemakers’ Managing Director, Andrew Drummond, stated: “Minemakers is very pleased with this potential financial pathway to developing Wonarah. Wonarah is Australia’s largest known phosphate deposit and a partner of the scale of NMDC brings the financial and marketing capacity to allow the project to be developed to its full potential. We look forward to working with Mr Rana Som and the NMDC Group to advance the Wonarah Phosphate Project.”

NMDC was incorporated in 1958 as a Government of India fully owned public enterprise. It is India’s single largest iron ore producer and exporter but, since inception, has also been involved in the exploration for, or exploitation of, a wide range of minerals including copper, rock phosphate, diamonds, limestone, tin and tungsten.

NMDC has current turnover in the order of $US1.5 billion, and is a constituent of the Bombay Stock Exchange National 100 Index.

Minemakers is pleased to advise that the Notice to Applicant of Preparedness to Grant Mining Licence No. 170 dated 8 July 2011 was received on 13 July 2011 from the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy and has been accepted by the Joint Venture company Namibian Marine Phosphates Pty Limited (“NMP”) on 14 July 2011.

The issue and acceptance of the Notice of Preparedness to Grant the Mining Licence is a major step in the advancement of the Sandpiper Phosphate Project and a critical component of the Definitive Feasibility Study.

ML170 has been issued for a period of 20 years from the date of acceptance and covers an area of 223,310.4ha. (2,233.1km²). It has a number of terms and conditions relating to work programmes and obligations, environmental management and certain additional conditions including offshore bunkering, statutory deductions for employees and mandatory notifications prior to commencement of any mining activities. These terms are standard for Namibian MLs in the marine environment and NMP believes the terms and conditions are reasonable and satisfactory.

      NMP is owned by:

      Minemakers Ltd 42.5%
      Union Resources Ltd 42.5%
      Tungeni Investments CC 15%

Minemakers holds a 13.2% equity in Union Resources.

Managing Director, Andrew Drummond Stated: “This is a great day for Minemakers and the Joint Venture. With secure title we can now proceed to a higher investment level with the planned bulk sampling and trial mining programme, and the commitment to design work on the dredge mining system. Namibia continues to be a great place for us to conduct a phosphate business.” ´

      Dear Minemakers Shareholder,

I am pleased to update you on the demerger of TNT Mines Limited (“TNT”).

The demerger was effected on 19 July 2011 and provides you with a direct shareholding in TNT as
shown in the accompanying Holding Statement. The demerger was instigated because Minemakers wishes to focus on its two (2) world class phosphate deposits and because your Board believed that the development and value of its Tasmanian assets had been undervalued by the market.

The demerger allows these Tasmanian assets, which are underpinned by significant price improvements in the underlying commodities, to become part of a focused approach with a separate Board and management team, who are intent on creating shareholder value.

      The TNT Board comprises:
      • Professor Ian Plimer: Chairman
      • Michael Hannington: Managing Director
      • Andrew Drummond: Non-Executive Director
      • Neville Bergin: Non-Executive Director
      • Michael Beer: Non-Executive Director

      TNT’s portfolio of interests includes
      • the major historic tin and tungsten mines of Aberfoyle and Storey’s Creek
      • the Lutwyche tin/tungsten deposit
      • the Anchor tin mine
      • the Royal George tin mine
      • the Great Pyramid tin deposit
      • priority applications over the Ringarooma Bay alluvial Tin deposits
      • JV interest in the Oonah Mine
      • JV interest in the Waratah Tenement
      • the Moina fluorspar and pollymetallic deposit (initial 80% option)

TNT has recently completed preparation of a draft prospectus in anticipation of an Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) and application for listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”). However, due to the current state of the financial markets, the TNT Board has decided on 19 July 2011 to defer the IPO and listing until conditions improve. This decision means that for the time being you will be unable to sell your TNT shares on the ASX. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

      - Ajoy K Das -
      www.miningweekly.com/article/nmdc-to-acquire-three-overseas-…

"India’s largest iron-ore miner, NMDC Limited, is negotiating a stake in three overseas mineral assets, with the aim of taking its foreign aggregate investments to around $500-million, by the end of March next year.

The targeted acquisitions were the Wonarah phosphate deposits of ASX-listed Minemakers, iron-ore deposits from Brazil’s Greystone Mineracao do Brasil, and the Vincy Coal project, in Russia.

The company did not divulge the breakdown of investments involved in each of the three acquisitions, however officials said that aggregate investments in acquiring overseas mineral assets would be to the tune of $500-million by end of the current financial year in March 2012.

“A team of NMDC officials have just visited Wonarah and would submit a feasibility report shortly. The due diligence report on Vincy Coal would be ready by this month end. All three assets are of very good quality and our acquisitions should be complete within the current fiscal year,” an official said.

Indications were that for Wonarah phosphate deposits, NMDC would a form a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Minemakers which would see the mineral asset being transferred to the JV following NMDC making an additional payment to Minemakers for initial costs already incurred on the deposits, one of the largest under-developed phosphate reserves in Australia.

In the case of Vincy Coal, NMDC was looking to develop and access a reserve of about 100-million ton. For Greystone, the iron-ore miner was currently in talks with Zamin Advisors, a London-based equity fund that has controlling interests in Greystone.

In a related development, NMDC has signed an agreement with India’s Sunflag Iron and Steel Company Limited to acquire a 26% stake in the latter’s coal assets in Mozambique. The deal value has not been disclosed but NMDC plans to start shipping part of the coal mined in Mozambique to its two ongoing steel projects within the next three years and to sell part of the coal in the local market.

Sunflag’s Mozambique asset was estimated to have a reserve of 450-million tons with a current production capacity of five-million tons a year.

NMDC and Severstal have signed a JV agreement to construct a five-million-ton-a-year steel mill in the southern Indian province of Karnataka entailing an investment of $5-billion. The company on its own was constructing a 3-million ton steel plant in the central Indian province of Chhattisgarh at an investment of $2.9-billion.

Last month, NMDC concluded the purchase of 50% of the shares of Australia’s Legacy Iron Ore, entailing an investment of A$18.9-million.

Meanwhile, on the domestic front, NMDC has firmed up a capital expenditure of $500.34-million that would be riding on various projects across the country and would ramp up total iron-ore mining capacity to 50-million ton a year. These include development of the Kumaraswami iron-ore reserves in Karnataka province to extract seven-million ton a year. This would be a replacement for the fast-depleting reserves of the current mine at Donimalai. "

Minemakers quick off the mark in Senegal

Minemakers is targeting first production in
      the first half of 2016
      and has already established
initial MoUs for contract mining and
crushing services, transport and port use and
      access.
The company entertained the idea of
branching out into other commodities during
its project search, but could not ignore the opportunities
      in the burgeoning nutrients sector,
      particularly phosphate.
      Global food production is forecast
to double by 2050 due to population
growth and increased per capita consumption.

“The world’s farmers over the next
50 years need to produce more food
than they did in the last 10,000 years,”
      Lawrenson said............
