Das Potenzial in Deutschland ist mega riesig, größer als in Großbritannien und es wäre falsch, wenn wir nicht sehen, die gleiche Entwicklung wie in Großbritannien, sagt Niels Møller, Pandora-Direktor in Deutschland.

Der deutsche Markt ist einer der größten in Europa mit Großbritannien. Im vergangenen Jahr Umsatz in Großbritannien legte um 42% auf 1,7 Mrd. kr. zu, während im Vergleich in Deutschland nur ein bescheidenes Wachstum auf 578 Mio. kr. zu verbuchen war. Der deutsche Plan ist zwar riskant, da Pandora alle Geschäfte selbst besitzt. Umgekehrt muss man aber die Gewinne nicht mit einem Franchise-Nehmer teilen. Wenn dieser Plan aufgeht, wird dies ein großer Erfolg für Pandora bedeuten.

Kein Wunder, das der Kurs heute ein neues ATH von 753 kr markiert und der Kurs in der Spitze um mehr als 4% zulegte.

An 3-stellige Eurokurse wird man sich wohl hier schnell gewöhnen! Und der clevere Dirk hat wieder einmal ein gutes Händchen bei seiner Aktienauswahl bewiesen.

It makes good sense for Pandora to buy its Russian distributor company, recently put up for sale. It says Poul Ernst Jessen, analyst at Danish Markets.

Sberbank, which owns the Russian Pandora distributor, Panclub will sell all or part of its stake in the company, wrote Reuters Friday. This is done by the owner of Panclub bankrupt and Sberbank has acquired the assets of the owner.

As Pandora has grown, they want control over their business and are starting to buy the master franchise back late and make them subsidiaries, explains Poul Ernst Jessen.

Pandora has experienced strong growth in Russia in recent years except for the first quarter of 2015. Poul Ernst Jessen believes, therefore, that is to the right leg that Pandora takes Panclub. However, he has one reservation.

Pandora / CEO: No new strategy on the drawing board

- Pandora goes well, and the headline is to continue the path. However, there are many links in the chain that constantly require maintenance. We do not sit quietly on the train, waiting for things to happen, says the director to Ritzau Finans.

Even before Colding Friis took their seat at the head office, the company was expanding the business and focus on other than jewelry charms and bracelets.

- We aim to be a wider jeweler. We need to develop both the core business but also rings, where sales grew by 80 per cent in the quarter compared to the same quarter last year, says Anders Colding Friis.

And when sales should grow, it is also important that the customer base grows. And there are plans to be more Chinese in the store, if it's up to the director. Pandora signed in February an agreement with Oracle Investment in Hong Kong joint distribution of the company's jewelry in China from 1 July 2015 to 31 December 2018. When the agreement expires, the Danish company will take over all rights to the distribution of jewelry in China.

It is very important for Pandora that customers get full experience of the jewelry company when they go shopping. - We have the entire chain; we design, produce and sell through our stores. Last year we made 90 million pieces jewelry in Thailand, says the director.

...The company raised its 2015 outlook and said it now expects revenue to grow to more than DKK15 billion, up from DKK14 billion previously, largely as a result of exchange rate changes. The company also increased its outlook for capital expenditure to around DKK900 million, from around DKK800 million previously, and said it expects the full-year tax rate to be around 30%, up from 20% previously, as a result of the settlement with tax authorities.

It also beefed up its ambition to expand its concept store network to more than 325 new stores, from 300 previously.

Pandora: American jewelery chain waiting slowdown
