Davnet Limited, the international Internet Protocol-based carrier,
today announced a deepening of its relationship with a significant
overseas shareholder and its clients, and the further realignment of
its Hong Kong shareholding arrangements.
Investa, a Swiss-based worldwide portfolio management company
operating several funds, and a number of its clients are exchanging
their existing investments in Davnet`s Hong Kong and US operations
for a direct interest in Davnet Limited. The cost of these
investments was US$6.5 million. Some US$5 million of these
investments is being converted into shares in Davnet Limited at a
share price of A$0.90. Investa and its clients will receive
10,203,040 shares. The US$1.5 million balance is expected to be
converted into a stake in Davnet`s Singapore operations. Investa and
several of its clients have also agreed to invest A$4,181,000 in
exchange for 4,645,556 shares in Davnet Limited. These shares will
also be issued at a share price of A$0.90.
Investa has had a long involvement in Davnet business from before the
public listing in Australia at the end of 1998. It has also
participated in all subsequent rounds of private placements.
"We are delighted to strengthen our relationship and commitment to
Davnet," said Mr Juerg Walker, a director of Investa. "We are
long-term investors and we are determined to see Davnet reach its
full potential at the forefront of the IP-powered world - a world
that is fundamentally transforming how individuals and businesses
communicate."
"Our confidence is further demonstrated by our willingness to agree
to a A$0.90 per share strike price despite the current share price
weakness affecting many Australian telecommunications companies in
the wake of the continuing downturns in world and Australian
technology-related share markets."
According to Mr Robert H Turner, Group Chief Operating Officer of
Davnet Limited, "We consider these moves to be a sign of continuing
investor confidence in the prospects and success of the `Davnet
model`."
"We are continuing to turn our model into reality as we move ahead to
deliver our portfolio of reliable, innovative, scalable, broadband
solutions to business users located in leading cities in Australia,
Asia and North America."
The net effect of the transactions will be to issue 14,848,596
shares, the equivalent of approximately 3 per cent of the issued
share capital of Davnet Limited (As at 30th June 2000, Davnet`s total
issued capital was 464,753,714 ordinary shares).
In a separate transaction, further steps are being taken to simplify
the Hong Kong corporate structure, paving the way for Davnet Limited
to increase its interest in DDHK Partnership beyond its current stake
of 83 per cent. Davnet Digital Hong Kong Limited manages the Hong
Kong operations on behalf of DDHK Partnership.
Under a separate agreement covering this transaction, Denford
Enterprises Limited has acquired an option to transform its existing
investment, valued at US$3.75 million, in the Hong Kong operation
into a stake in Davnet Limited. Denford is one of four parties
involved in DDHK Partnership. The option is valid until 15th March
2001. If exercised, it translates into 4,591,368 shares, each priced
at A$1.50. There are restrictions on the disposal of the shares.
Added Mr Turner, "From a management perspective, a simpler corporate
structure in Hong Kong allows us to enhance our commitment to
developing, expanding and integrating our business across the region.
This, in turn, is in line with our commitment to investors to focus
on ensuring maximum shareholder return from all our activities."

(SYDNEY & TORONTO, 7TH DECEMBER 2000): Davnet Limited (“Davnet”), the international Internet Protocol-based carrier------, today announced the strengthening of its presence in Canada through the acquisition of business assets and certain rights from R&B Tel Communications Inc (“R&B Tel”).
Under the terms of the deal, Davnet Canada Inc. has acquired business assets from R&B Tel (www.rbtel.com), including the license to wire Scotia Plaza, a major commercial property in Toronto’s central business district. Davnet Limited has also acquired all rights from R&B Tel in relation to the proposed joint venture between Davnet and R&B Tel. The deal confirms Davnet ‘s 100% ownership of Davnet Canada Inc.
The consideration for the acquisition is 3,625,408 ordinary shares in Davnet Limited at a price of A$1.44 per share (approximately C$1.175 per share), valuing the acquisition at A$5,220,587 (approximately C$4,260,000).
According to Mr. Robert H. Turner, Group Chief Operating Officer of Davnet Limited, “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Canada as it means that corporate customers in the country’s leading central business districts can more readily experience the power of Davnet’s leading-edge, broadband services delivered on an Internet Protocol platform and network architecture.
“This move also represents an important component in our global strategy of being able to deliver a portfolio of reliable, innovative, scalable, broadband solutions to business users located in leading cities in Australia, Asia and North America.”
Mr. Turner added: “We are particularly delighted that we will launch our Canadian business by rolling out to corporate customers in Scotia Plaza. This is a prestigious building and the building management have been most supportive.”
Mr. Les Rozsa, Director, Real Estate, Scotiabank, “Scotia Plaza is excited about the services to be offered by Davnet. We are pleased to be able to offer Davnet’s products to our tenants in the building.”
Davnet eventually expect to serve more than 300 commercial buildings in the five major cities within Canada. The first are being rolled out in Toronto. Vancouver and Calgary are expected to be served during the first half of 2001, and Montreal and Ottawa later in 2001.
Mr. Turner added: “Our goal is to assist Canadian-based businesses to run their IT and voice networks, better, faster and more economically.”
Under the terms of the deal, R&B Tel’s principal Mr. Jamie Torpey will also continue to serve as President of Davnet Canada Inc.

Jamie brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and deal making experience as well as an understanding about the Canadian market and our target properties in central business districts in locations such as Toronto.”
Canada attracted Davnet because of both the potential demand for its products and services and the nature of its commercial property market. According to The Yankee Group in Canada, Canada’s business telecommunications market is worth approximately C$19.8 billion and is growing at 5-6% each year, with some segments, such as business Internet and web hosting increasing at more than 30% each year.

drei ( D R E I ) Transaktionen ausgeführt. Meiner Meinung

Was kümmert es
Wer in
diesen Wert investiert muss jeden Tag involviert sein. Man

Gruss an alle .

2001 gemeint.

Also: Bleibt alle investiert. Davnet kommt.

Hallo an alle "Hochspekulative"

KZ 45euro!

Nun überleg mal was schwerer

Dear Shareholders and Supporters,
I want to share part of a message that I sent to a shareholder yesterday who
enquired about the escrow announcement last Friday. The main message remains
that Davnet is focusing on its business and aiming to deliver value through
real results built up over time.
Thank you for your query. There are not 143 million shares hitting the
market. There has been an ASX escrow arrangement in place for two years. In
November, as a sign of their confidence in the Davnet model, many of those
bound by it --plus others -- agreed to continue to hold their shares in
voluntary escrow -- this was all announced at the time, and this
information was repeated in the announcement on December
29th...................
We believe that the fundamentals of the Davnet business are strong: we have
a leading position in a fast evolving and fast growing
market................................
Today we have learnt that Davtel has gained "Endorsed Supplier Arrangement"
(ESA) accreditation with the Australian Federal Government. This
accreditation means that Davtel will be one of the suppliers Federal
Government agencies MUST consider in their IT&T purchasing. More details on
ESA can be found at www.ctc.gov.au/esa/index.htm.
We believe, in time, the market will appreciate these sorts of developments,
and this will be reflected in our share price.

DVT
hier ein Gerücht aus dem Stockhouse-Board:
p.
>>From an anonymous source within DVT.
Overzealous invoicing to boost sales
has caught up in unrecoverable receivables.
The company has been forced to writeoff half
the book but to disguise this massive
(probably fraudulent) accounting bluff,
a decision to treat the resultant loss as
an extraordinary loss in the next accounts
has been made.
Talk about creative accounting!!!
Expect some heads to roll!<<

At this stage all I can say is that the company is sticking with its
business -- and getting on with the business of selling its products and
services. The immediate cause of the drop is the ending of the ASX-mandated
escrow on 29th December. This was not new or unexpected. In November,
several of those affected by the escrow, plus other shareholders, agreed to
maintain their shares in voluntary escrow as a sign of confidence in the
Davnet model. This was publicised at the time. We mentioned this again in a
covering announcement on 29th December (see ASX web site).
Today we have learnt that Davtel has gained "Endorsed Supplier Arrangement"
