Soll im September was kommen.
Ruhig Blut ,ein paar Tatsachen zum ITWO & nicht nur gepushe ;

Despite difficult market conditions over the past year, i2 Technologies solidified its position as one of the leaders in supply chain management (SCM) software. Its worldwide revenues were US$985.6 million for FY`01.
While expanding aggressively into China, i2 has undergone an internal restructuring. Account management teams now serve as single points of contact to customers.
"In the last 12 months, we have become more focused and driven in order to deliver value to our customers in the Asia-Pacific,"said Raymond Teh, president, Asia-Pacific, i2 Technologies. At the same time, customers in the region have recognised i2`s software superiority, and the company has a number of major customer wins. For instance, Korea-based Pohang Iron and Steel Company (POSCO) implemented 11 modules of the i2 SCM solution.
It was the largest number of modules installed in a steel company in i2`s history.
Within eight months of the installation, POSCO saw significant returns on their investment. In May 2002, the company estimated that a value in excess of US$249 million was achieved with i2`s Profit Optimisation solution.
"Post 9-11"
In the aftermath of 9-11, Teh said customers are less keen to sign on high-profile projects that are complicated or have lengthy implementation periods.
Smaller-scale projects that have well-defined objectives, provide quick return-on-investment (ROI), and are less disruptive to business operations are the order of the day now, he added.
"Our strategy placed a strong emphasis on value chain management, which is a combination of demand-chain management, SCM and SRM (supplier relationship management), that essentially allows an organisation to react more nimbly to supply and demand changes,"said Teh.
With the introduction of a software demo and scenario-based system, potential customers can"test-drive"i2`s applications."This approach helps to reduce the typically `long closing cycles` for potential sales,"remarked Teh.
"Good year ahead"
Going forward, i2 is confident that the coming year will be a good one.
"There are signs that the US economy will gain stability in the next 12 months.
"Given that many countries in Asia are reliant on the US economy, the impending recovery is likely to boost demand for Asian-made goods,"said Teh.
China will continue to be a huge market for the company, and it will probably be the fastest-growing market in the region.Teh expects the Chinese market to contribute 20-25% towards i2`s Asia-Pacific revenues in the following 12 months.
Currently, i2 has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia and India. It is looking to strengthen its presence in China and other parts of Asia in the coming year.

Also da läufts , schauen wir mal

gruss DER ENGEL

Also: I2 will die Kosten reduzieren mehr als anfänglich geplant , es die Kosten sollen durch 1440 Entlassungen eingedämmt werden.
