Completion of New Business Acquisition
The Directors of the company first mentioned the acquisition of the below entities in November 1999 and today announced that AdultShop.com Limited has completed the acquisition of
a 50% interest in the equity capital of each of Stell Bay Pty Ltd ("Stell Bay") and Calvista Australia Pty Ltd ("Calvista").
Calvista is one of the top wholesale distributors of adult products in Australia. Having been established for over ten Years, it enjoys close relationships with major manufacturers
worldwide and counts some of Australia`s largest adult retail groups amongst its client base.
Stell Bay, which is based in Canberra is the sole authorised distributor in Australia and New Zealand for videos and publications produced by the Private Media Group Inc, an entity
listed on NASDAQ. "Private" videos are arguably the most popular brand of videos available in the adult entertainment industry.
This acquisition is of considerable strategic value to the Company as it provides the Company with a significant presence, in the Eastern States of Australia and enables the Company to
centralise fulfilment of supply orders. The Company also plans to develop a Calvista Business-to-Business web site that will wholesale adult products.
