Drilling Contract Signed
Vancouver, BC – Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. is very pleased to announce that it has now signed the drilling contract for the upcoming exploration program on it’s 100% owned Las Bolas property located in the Sierra Madre gold-silver trend in north-western Mexico. The contractor will mobilize as soon as possible and the drilling is scheduled to start on February 2.
The originally designed drilling program has been increased and now includes approximately 2,800 metres in the Las Bolas – Arbolito area as well an additional 1,000 metres in the area of the old Flor del Trigo mine, about five kilometers east of the old Las Bolas mine.
In the Las Bolas area at least four different trends will be tested. This will include several holes designed to test beneath, and along strike of, the significant intersection in drill hole B04-3, near the Arbolito shaft, which returned a 40 foot interval grading 154.13 gpt silver and 3.22 gpt gold, including a 10 foot section grading 515.5 gpt silver and 11.1 gpt gold. This intersection is deemed to be important because it is close to the dump beside the old Arbolito shaft where a previously collected grab sample of sulphide mineralization returned an assay of 71,817-gpt silver (2,082 troy oz/ton) and 2.83 gpt gold. The source of this sulphide mineralization, which is the Company’s primary target, is unknown but believed to occur at depth along the Arbolito-Papacho vein/structure. Several of the drill holes have been designed to reach the estimated depth of the sulphide zone. Other planned holes will test the Las Bolas Station B37 vein at depth, the Frijolar mine trend, the Mesa Seca workings trend situated 300 meters to the east of the Arbolito shaft, and the Corazon-Providencia trend, located approximately 450 metres southeast of the Arbolito shaft.
In addition to the above mentioned drilling, a further 1000 metres is also planned for the area around the Flor Del Trigo mine, located about five kilometres southeast of the Arbolitio shaft. An Induced Polarization geophysical survey conducted for the Company by S.J. Geophysics has outlined chargeability and resistivity anomalies associated with the mine that present an excellent target and this will be drilled for the first time during the upcoming program.

Drilling Update
The Company is pleased to report that it has now received assay results from another six reverse circulation holes recently completed in the Nopalera area of its 100% owned Las Bolas property. Assay results from another six holes in this area are still pending.
The shallow reverse circulation holes at Nopalera have tested parts of a 900 metre section of the northeast-southwest trending, rhyolitic, Flor del Trigo -structure as well as more equant, diroitic intrusive bodies within altered andesitic volcanics. The rocks are intensely silicified, with small quartz and quartz-calcite veinlets. Quartz of several generations and colours is common as is disseminated to massive pyrite, traces of other sulphides and iron oxides. The rocks are highly anomalous in gold and locally in silver as well. The gold/silver metal ratios, as well as the geology, show that this is a completely different mineralized system than exists five kilometres to the west side of the property, which is predominantly silver rich. The fact that precious metal mineralization is found within both volcanic extrusive rocks and very altered dioritic intrusives is considered significant with respect to metallogenesis and the potential size of the system. The table below summarizes results from the six holes recently completed.

Mr. Paul Sorbara reports
LAS BOLAS DRILL RESULTS
Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. has now received assay results from the last eight reverse circulation holes recently completed on its 100-per-cent-owned Las Bolas property. These holes, which are the last of the company's spring program, were spotted between 300 metres and 700 metres both east and west of the previous seven Las Bolas holes testing new areas, with the exception of BRC06-11. Holes BRC06-9a, b and c were collared approximately 300 metres to 450 metres east of BRC06-1, and were the first drill tests of a series of seven old shafts in the Mesa Seca area. BRC06-10a, b and c were collared approximately 700 metres west of BRC06-1 and were the first drill tests in the area of the old El Manto mine. These were, topographically and geologically, the lowest holes of any drilled to date at Las Bolas. Results were encouraging, with significant silver and/or gold intercepts in both areas. Hole BRC06-11 was a 175-metre step-out to the northeast from BRC06-1 on the Northwest vein structure and also returned significant silver values. Initial drill testing in the Las Bolas area now covers an area of 1,200 metres east-west by 600 metres north-south and this area will likely be increased with the next round of drilling.
The table below summarizes the most significant results from the last eight holes recently completed in the Las Bolas area.

The company is encouraged by the significant silver and gold values received to date, across the 1,200-metre by 600-metre area tested to date in the Las Bolas area. The first holes near the El Manto mine confirmed the company's belief that there is potential for both gold and silver mineralization at depth beneath the other old workings, such as the old Las Bolas and Gambusino mines. Significant potential has also been confirmed further east on the Mesa Seca plateau, where another 19 old shaft sites and workings have been identified.
Over all, the recent drilling has been successful at both extending known mineralization, as well as identifying new areas of mineralization. The Las Bolas and Nopalera areas have been recognized as two distinct precious metal systems with different geology, geochemistry and gold/silver ratios. Both are believed to be related to intrusive bodies at depth, and these are most likely different metalliferious intrusions. This also confirms the company's belief that the Uruachic mining camp has multiple, extensive, mineralized systems, with varying styles of mineralization over a wide area, which is a common theme in the largest precious metal camps throughout the world. It is management's opinion that more work is required on this very large and promising area. The combination of a large, gold-rich system at Nopalera, adjacent to a large, past-producing, silver system at Las Bolas, presents a very attractive, precious metal target for the company. Plans for follow-up work, including more drilling, are now under way.

Golden Goliath to start drilling at Uruachic camp

DRILLING TO COMMENCE AT URUACHIC
Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. will commence drilling at its 100-per-cent-owned Uruachic mining camp in northwestern Mexico. Road building and drill site preparations are now under way. The drill program will consist of approximately for 30 short holes and will test targets in several areas. Previous drilling has largely focused on one or two areas, whereas this program will look at other areas in the 15- by 25-kilometre Uruachic, camp which are highly prospective for gold and silver. Management is very excited about this program as the drill is small and will access parts of the camp that have not properly been followed up on. It is anticipated that targets will be found to test with deeper drilling in the fall. Drilling is scheduled to begin in August.
Further follow-up work, including drilling, is also being planned for the Las Bolas and Nopalera areas. This program will take place after the currently planned 30-hole drill program is completed. The company has sufficient funds to complete the summer and fall programs.
We seek Safe Harbor.

Golden Goliath to begin drilling at Uruachic

Mr. J. Paul Sorbara reports
NEW DRILL TARGETS TO BE TESTED AT URUACHIC
Golden Goliath Resources Ltd. has completed final preparations for the upcoming drilling at its 100-per-cent-owned Uruachic mining camp in northwestern Mexico. The program will consist of 25 short holes totalling approximately 1,500 metres of NQ diameter drilling. Using a smaller, more mobile rig that can access parts of the Uruachic camp previously inaccessible with bigger drill rigs, this program will test several new promising target areas. One of these targets, to be tested for the first time, is the old San Martin mine, which is on the San Timoteo property in the north-central part of the Uruachic camp, approximately five kilometres northeast of the Las Bolas mine. The old San Martin adit, which is the only one in the Uruachic camp known to have tracks, lies approximately 275 vertical metres below the adjacent ridge top. There is a very strong silver and gold-in-soil anomaly over 100 vertical metres above the old adit. The old records state that the average production grade from San Martin was 7.8 grams per tonne gold and 1,038 grams per tonne silver. The records state that the structure is 2.2 metres wide and 1,000 metres long.
