Vagit Alekperov, President of Lukoil, and Anatoly Chubais, General Director of Rosnano, signed a strategic partnership agreement (the Agreement) in Moscow today.

Under the Agreement, the parties will promote cooperation in commercializing nanotechnologies and introducing them into the oil and gas industry, including at Lukoil Group companies.

For this purpose, Rosnano will provide Lukoil Group companies with the information on respective projects in the oil and gas sector.

The parties will identify high-priority projects and the regions to pilot-test promising nanotechnologies at the production sites of Lukoil Group companies.

Under the Agreement, the parties shall establish a working group no later than one month after signing the Agreement. The working group shall be responsible for coordination of activities aimed at elaboration and implementation of top-priority projects. Regional working groups can be established as well.

The General Agreement implementation will be coordinated by Andrey Malyshev, Deputy General Director of Rosnano, and Dzhevan Cheloyants, Vice President and Head of the Main Technical Division of OAO Lukoil.

"The oil and gas sector has always occupied leading positions in terms of applying new technologies in the upstream, hydrocarbons processing and petroleum products manufacturing. For this reason, we intend to actively introduce nanotechnologies into the production process," Vagit Alekperov said.

In his turn, Anatoly Chubais noted, "The task of innovation development in Russia cannot be solved without a dramatic change in the attitude of the business circles towards bringing of high technologies in the production process. I am convinced that the primary sector of the economy should serve as a driving force for the process."

wenn erst mal die Inflation richtig ins rollen kommt- und die Inflation wird kommen- werden wohl die Energie-und Ölwerte so richtig in den Fokus kommen.

Etwas wird es auch schon in den Kursen von lukoil antizipiert.

Denke, den werte kann man ruhig im Depot ruhen lassen, da kommen auch noch weitaus höhere Kurse.

Mein Jahresendziel ist erst mal 50 Euro, das ist ja auch schon was

..neee ich freu mich wirklich, gut ding braucht weile.... die geduld zahlt sich in jedem fall aus !

19 ist supi, meine gabs für 22 und sind im Dez. steuerfrei - mein Kursziel geht Richtung 60 - 65 und dann mal sehen wie es weitergeht !

...danke für deine informativen infos ! ...bin immer noch mit meinen 2,5k für 19 dabei ! irgendwie bin ich doch erstaund wie wenig aufmerksamkeit dieser share geschenkt wird... kgv von 7,3 im vergleich exxon, chevron und konsorten immer noch ein schäppchen ! ...na und die ausichten.... !

EIL - LUKoil und ExxonMobil wollen Ölfeld Westkurna zu irakischen Bedingungen erschließen

MOSKAU, 13. Oktober (RIA Novosti). Ein Konsortium um den russischen Ölförderer LUKoil und ein Konsortium um den US-Energiekonzern ExxonMobil wollen das irakische Ölfeld Westkurna-1 zu den Bedingungen Bagdads erschließen.

Wie die Nachrichtenagentur France Presse am Dienstag unter Berufung auf Iraks Ölminister Hussein al-Shahristani meldete, hatten die beiden Konsortien bereits ihre Angebote gestellt. Demnach werden LUKoil und ExxonMobil 1,9 US-Dollar von jedem Barrel (je 159 Liter) kassieren, das über die vertraglich fixierten Mengen hinaus gefördert wird. "Unser Ministerium hat nicht wenig Anstrengungen unternommen, um diesen Preis durchzusetzen", sagte der Minister.

Irak will Ölproduktion verdreifachen

BAGDAD, 12. Oktober (RIA Novosti). Der Irak will in nächsten sechs Jahren seine Ölförderung auf sieben Millionen Barrel am Tag verdreifachen.

Ausländische Unternehmen sollen in die riesigen Ölfelder West Qurna, Az-Zubair und Rumeil 100 Milliarden US-Dollar investieren, was eine Verdreifachung der jetzigen Tagesfördermenge von 2,4 Millionen Barrel (ein Barrel entspricht 159 Liter) ermöglichen solle, sagte Ölminister Hussein Shahristani im irakischen Fernsehen. Er bestätigte, dass sein Ministerium die Vorschläge des russischen Ölförderers Lukoil zum Abbau des West-Qurna-Vorkommens studiere und demnächst mit ihm Verhandlungen aufnehme werde.

Zuvor hatte Lukoil-Chef Wagit Alekperow dem russischen Nachrichtensender „Westi“ mitgeteilt, sein Unternehmen wolle in West Qurna 1,5 Millionen Barrel am Tag fördern.

Mit dem Abbau des Rumeil-Feldes, dessen Reserven auf 17,7 Milliarden Barrel geschätzt werden, wurde vergangene Woche das britisch-chinesische Konsortium BP-CNPC beauftragt.

Conoco to Sell 10% of LUKoil?

U.S.-based UBS analysts say ConocoPhilips could sell half of its 20 percent stake in LUKoil to pay off debt in a deal that has the potential to discourage other investors in Russia.

The third-largest U.S. oil company said Wednesday that it planned to sell $10 billion of assets over the next two years to reduce debt. These assets would affect the company’s exploration and production portfolio, it said without giving further details.

UBS said the sale of the LUKoil stake was likely. “We suspect the following options are on the table: 50 percent of its LUKoil stake,” analysts said in a research note.

LUKoil spokesman Dmitry Dolgov declined comment as did LUKoil’s deputy chief for investor relations Gennady Krasovsky. Calls to ConocoPhillips’ press office went unanswered Thursday. Weatherston didn’t respond to a request for comment sent by e-mail.

UBS analysts in Moscow suggested that 10 percent of LUKoil could go for $4.8 billion. Buyers could include institutional investors and LUKoil’s executives and co-owners, CEO Vagit Alekperov and his deputy Leonid Fedun.

VTB Capital analyst Svetlana Grizan viewed the deal as unlikely. For one thing, she said the LUKoil stake accounted for 34 percent of ConocoPhillips’ profits in the first half of 2009.

“There’s no sense in selling such a good asset,” she said.
