Also: Ruhig Blut.

TIMMINS WEST PROJECT - GOLD
TIMMINS WEST is a 100% owned gold exploration project 5km west of Lake Shore Gold. Recent exploration by Melkior has located several gold zones including a 280 G/T GOLD GRAB SAMPLE
Recently, Melkior Resources Inc., announced the results from its summer exploration program on its West Timmins property. It is adjacent to the Destor- Porcupine Fault and 5km southwest of the Lake Shore Gold Inc gold deposit in Bristol Township. The Destor- Porcupine fault is considered to be a controlling structure for gold mineralization in the 70 million ounce Timmins Gold Camp.
The exploration program included a 65 km magnetometer survey over the central area of the property which hosts several historic gold occurrences, old shafts and numerous pits and trenches (circa 1930's). The focus of the summer program was to identify and sample historic gold occurrences. The results of the geological sampling are presented in the following tables.
1. West-Central (Historic Small Shaft) 1010 Vein
Multi phase quartz veins with hydrothermal alteration of wall rocks that appear to be dilation features with a north-south trend and a sub-vertical dip. High gold values are intimately related to higher concentrations of sulphides, primarily pyrite contained within quartz veins.
Samples were obtained from bedrock adjacent to a small historic shaft. The series of samples was taken over 30 metres centred on the shaft. It is likely that no recent sampling of the bedrock has occurred at this site based on the vegetative cover and the age of the trees growing on top of the vein. Previous sampling of the vein was discussed in a news release dated July 5, 2006
Samples LAVT-01A to 05 were grab samples taken along the vein which was from 5cm to 20cm in width. They consisted of bluish grey quartz veins with variable pyrite. Samples LAVP01 to 04 were pyritic quartz samples from excavated shaft material.

3. North-Central (Historic Pits) Jowsey Occurrence - 700m northeast of 1010 vein
Two pits are present at each end of this occurrence, and samples were taken at and between the historic pits. The pits when observed were full of debris and the vein overgrown with vegetation indicating a limited exposure to sampling in the recent decades. The gold mineralization appears to be related to areas of higher sulphide concentrations in an offset shear and vein system.
The highest values were obtained at the southern extent of the pit system where the historic mining effort appears to end. The series of grab samples was taken from vein and sulphide material that varies in width from 4cm to 30cm. Samples MKR-WTK-13,14 16 were taken within one metre of each other where the vein was cross cut by a small east west fault. There was a significant increase in sulphides at this location.

4. Central - Central (Historic Showing) Shenkman Trench - 450 metres east of 1010 vein
Structurally controlled hydrothermal conduits in competent intrusive host, associated quartz veining. Mineralization is predominantly located at the transition from intrusive host into quartz porphyry within strong sericite, hematite alteration. The samples were grabs from exposed quartz veins. Nine samples were taken at this location. The samples below are best values, the remaining six samples assayed less than 1g/t.

5. Mysterious Shear (New Showing) - 450 metres southeast of Shenkman
One bedrock sample taken on a rusty sericitic shear returned 94.57 g/t gold, the width of this shear is unknown. (Sample MKR-WTK-028)
The current program indicates the presence of gold at several locations on the property which suggests the possibility of finding more gold bearing structures with systematic exploration. Once the current data has been thoroughly studied, a continuing exploration program will be defined.
The assays were carried out by Bourlamaque Laboratories of Val d'Or using the standard fire assay, atomic absorption technique.
Jens Hansen, P. Eng, President of Melkior Resources, a Qualified Person for Ontario and Quebec under section 43-101 visited the West Timmins property during the field work. The field work was conducted by Wade Kornik, B.Sc. geologist.
