Just for info - Zwei Beiträge zu PEM aus siliconinvestor.com. Ob James damit richtig liegt, kann ich leider nicht sagen - alles sehr spekulativ!

      Barrick vs Osisko = Premium

As most investors know Barrick is now the worlds largest gold producer. But there was a day in the earky 80s that Barrick was a tiny little penny stock exploration company. But Barricks Peter Munk was not your average pump and dump stock promoter. He was in fact a man of vision who from the get go wanted to build his tiny company into the Giant it is now.But Munk knew that finding gold deposits took on lots of risk and time to get up and running from discovery to production. This was ok at first but if you wanted to win the race you needed to buy up discoveries after the time was taken by other JR companies to find them. While Munk stated exploring at first the he could see that finding deposits took too long it was better to buy them.So ABX started out as an exploration company but ened up a consolodation of multiple companies as it is today.ABX does very little exploration to top up its reserves,it buys them now.It can afford to.

On the other hand Osisko Mining is on track with a mandate to its shareholders to become a large mining force in North America.Osisko was a few years ago a tiny exploration company with a dream to find a large gold deposit and start to take the first steps to its mandate. They did do it,they found the Canadian Marltic 10 million ounce gold discovery. In doing so they had to buy a town and move it because the gold was under it.Most JR companies would have walked away for this situation but not OSK.They did in fact do it all the way and now have the ownership to the title of Canadas second largest gold mine in production today with Detour being #1.

So what does it mean that OSK just set up a US exploration office in Denver? OSK thinks the US still has large undiscovered gold mines yet to be found. To become a major mining force in Amreriacs you need to buy large gold mines or go find them.OSK is not Barrick (YET). OSK knows if they can get on ground were large gold deposits are present it is much cheaper to find a 10 million ounce deposit than to but one.A 10 million oz proven deposit can range into the billions of dollars on the open market. But for only a $50 million dollars price tag a deposit of world class can be found through in house exploration.

To become a rapid force in mining you need ground that can make mulitple world class mines such as the Carlin has did for many mining companies. So the question begs if OSK wants to become a multiple milti million ounce gold producer were can it find that kind of ground?

Enter Premium Exploration. The ground PEM controls is a Shear Zone.Shear Zone are in fact the best kind of ground to find large gold deposits.Due to extensive fracturing of faults the stock work intersections are known to be highly endowed with gold and silver. In the case of PEM the mapping shows over 200km of such fractures. So we seen in the past month OSK has taken a placement of 7 million PEM shares. Why? Well OSK sees that PEMs Orogrande Shear Zone is the kind of ground needed to reach its mandate.

In closing the market place has not seen the interest and the meaning of such a small event of OSK buying into PEM.But in the early days of Barrick the market did not see Munks vision for Barrick. So I would suggest we are going to see OSK get very involved over the next few months in PEM.

I rate PEM a strong buy with a $1 price target over the next 12 months.

      James
      http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=28434159

      Jay Taylor on PEM today:
Sometimes the best investment strategy is to find an explorer that has discovered something but isn't being given credit by the market. Premium Exploration (PEM-X) is a strong contender for this category.

Of course the market is low right now, but where can you find a junior trading under
.10 ($14 million market cap) with drill results like this?

      1.8 g/t over 275 m.
      22.2 g/t over 14.9 m.
      2.2 g/t over 157.9 m.
      3.7 g/t over 74.4 m.

Need I say more? Premium Exploration's Friday-Petsite deposit is tremendously undervalued by the market, and the release of the metallurgical test results on tuesday revealing 93% recoveries takes even more of the risk away.

Sometimes companies don't get credit for "district scale" opportunities because there's not alot of hype around them. After all, when one company controls everything, there's not nearly as many Investor Relation's guys at conferences, or speakers talking about different companies, or newsletter writers writing about the area play, or that sort of thing. The Friday-Petsite deposit is 30 km long and prospective along virtually its entire length, although the above drill results are from one single deposit. That deposit looks like a million ounce accumulation, and they are currently infill drilling it to determine the deposit size.

The management team has experience at producing mining companies and particularly in the area of the deposit. The geological expertise appears to be strong within the company.

Now, some people might say there's always a reason when a company is undervalued, and in this case there is one. The deposit is in Idaho, which is not known for being gold country. It is a few hundred miles south of the silver belt Idaho is known for, but it's not a silver deposit. Not many people talk about big gold deposits in Idaho, and Premium Exploration has 30 km of land consolidated into one massive property (including what looks like a million ounce deposit, at healthy grades, in the drill results above). I've always thought that they would get more value if they carved up the property and joint ventured out the pieces. There would be so many more people advertising it at conferences and promoting it in newsletters than Premium Exploration could do all by themselves. That being said however, investing in this company has very little downside today. The value of the stock is heavily underpinned by the underlying property value.

To put it another way, the reason for the big share price discount is not the heavy millstone that investors usually have to accept.

      PEM in the news:

      Premium Exploration Inc (TSXV:PEM)

Recommended Price: $0.53; Last Trade: $0.11

“The little engine that could.” – Al Korelin

Premium is one of the most beaten up companies
in our portfolio and one of the least deservedly
so, next to Merrex. The chart looks terrific – a
double bottom followed by a breakout, like so many
juniors these days. To be sure, I wish we waited until
now to buy it. That’s my only regret. But if you can
add to your position between 10 and 15 cent, I think
it will pay off yet. The shares were crushed by several
events out of its control, including a generally
bad market last year, offside shareholders, misunderstood
drill program, lack of capital, a securities
commission on the war path to constrain resources
to a pit shell as well as other matters of largely red
tape, and this year, a raging wildfire on the company’s
property that continued to prevent work. Management got most of
the blame for the performance of the shares. Critics
blamed it for not taking advantage of the higher
share price to raise the money it needed in order to
stave off the subsequent cash crunch. Whether this
is a fair criticism or not, we think it is only a small
part of what went wrong, and most of the trouble,
as in Merrex’s case, was out of its control – and
probably too hard for us to have predicted as well.
Last year’s drill program got off to a late start
due to the weather too. Moreover, it was designed
mainly to define the fault parallel to the zone, which
is supposed to help delineate the gold bearing zone
      in future drilling efforts.
      Nevertheless, despite the wildfire, which
management said this week was contained to just
42,500 acres (25%) and likely to bypass the southern
boundary of its claim blocks (allowing work
to restart by month end), several positive develop13
      www.dollarvigilante.com
ments began to materialize this summer beginning
with the filing of its new technical report mid
August. The new resource at its Friday-Petsite zone
      (629,000 ounces indicated at 0.9 g/t and 146,000
ounces inferred at 0.8 g/t) resulted in a slightly
smaller deposit – by about a third in total. However,
it also resulted in a higher quality (confidence)
resource in that the previous one only had 343,000
      ounces in the indicated category.
To that end management is right that the BCSC
restatement worked in its favor. Moreover, the company
said in its press release that while the mineralization
previously delineated between the north and
main zones at Friday-Petsite – and directly adjacent
or beneath the shell– should not be considered part
of the resource, it did not rule out the possibility
that future drilling could bring it back in. What’s
more, management notes that the step outs in 2011
were not included in this resource because they were
too widely spaced, but that they served to increase
the strike length of the deposit from 1,000 meters
to 1,700 meters. An infill program this season could
therefore easily add ounces to the resource, maybe
even a significant amount. The company plans to
drill about 30,000 feet in 25 reverse circulation drill
holes in 2012-13 (at a total cost of about $1.5 million)
with about a quarter of those before yearend
(at a cost of $350k) aimed at tightening drill spacings
      over the additional strike length.
Hopefully this will lead to an improved resource
that will allow them to raise money at more
      favorable terms.

3 million broker warrants exercisable at 15
cents for two years. In early September, Premium
closed another financing comprising $340,000 of
senior secured debentures due Aug 31, 2014 bearing
an interest of 15% per annum. The debentures
came with bonus units comprising 680,000 bonus

as broker warrants to Mackie Research Capital Corp
allowing it to acquire 50,000 shares at 15 cents for

This capital isn’t enough for the entire planned
25 hole drill program, but it is enough to get the
results it needs to allow it to raise money at more
favorable terms. In an interview on The Al Korelin
Show Tuesday Del Steiner said that a review of old
data (achieved while waiting to get back on the
property) revealed additional surprises, and a recent
news release indicated that the gold and silver at
Friday-Petsite reacted well to “cyanidation,” resulting
in recoveries of 75-93% for gold (and 17-81% for
the minor silver credits); and confirming its nonrefractory
nature. Average recoveries from 13 samples produced
an 86% recovery rate –also quite high.
Finally, the results of a massive 2011 soil sampling
program (10,000 samples) at its main targets
along the 30km long OSZ revealed several new
anomalies. The samples doubled the strike length

Premium Exploration Encounters 151 Meters (496 Feet) of 2.68 g/t Gold at Its Idaho Gold Project

January 23, 2014, Couer d’Alene, Idaho - Premium Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: PEM; OTC Pink Current: PMMEF) ("Premium" or the "Company") announces that assay results from drilling the deep zone at the Friday Gold Deposit in Idaho County, ID. The drill hole has confirmed continuity of a high-grade gold zone below the current bulk-tonnage gold resource. Two additional holes have been completed in the deep zone, and drilling is now focused on the shallow high-grade zone at the Friday. The drilling is being done to support a preliminary economic study of the high grade at the Friday deposit and is designed to extend the high grade mineralization found in drill holes detailed in the January 15th, 2014 press release.

      Highlights Include:

      PFR20013-1: 15.19 g/t gold over 9.14 meters (30 feet),

      5.62 g/t gold over 54.1 meters (177.5 feet);

      2.69 g/t gold over 151 meters (496 feet)

The ongoing drill program consists of twelve HQ core holes and complete assay results have now been received for the first drill hole PFR2013_1.

Drill hole PFR2013_1 was drilled 27 meters south of PFR2009_10 and intercepted the strongest mineralization at approximately 17 meters due to drill hole deflection. A zone of 54.1 meters (237.7-291.8 meters) encountered strongly silicified, clast-supported breccia rimmed with pyrite. This zone was also encountered in the next hole to be reported, PFR2013_2. A suite of metallic screens will be completed on the high-grade intercepts as well as a selected grade range to better understand gold distribution. Approximately 50 samples will have metallurgical testing work performed in the near future to further our understanding of the high-grade zone.

Premium (V.PEM) pursues near-term gold production in Idaho
      Peter Epstein

On January 15th, Premium Exploration Inc. (TSX: V, PEM, Stock Forum) announced a 5,000 metre, 12-hole drill program to establish the continuity of a potential high-grade gold zone located within its, “Friday” zone along the Idaho Gold Project. Premium Exploration’s Chief Geologist, James Baughman stated,

“Results from this program will allow Premium to determine if the Friday Zone has the potential for a small scale, high grade, underground situation that warrants further investigation. As the Friday deposit is located on patented ground, production could be achieved rapidly should an economic situation be established for a small scale operation.”

Prospective High-Grade, Low-Cost Mining Operation Could Start This Year

This initiative could prove to be a game-changer for the company. Last year, like most juniors, Premium was exploring a low-grade but potentially sizable heap leachable gold deposit when the price of gold fell off a cliff. Unlike hundreds of juniors around the world who are now out of cash and out of time, with little hope of attracting fresh capital, Premium has a Plan B.

In the past few months, CEO John Ryan has been articulating his Plan B, most recently in Vancouver at an investment conference on January 19-21. A quick look at the stock chart shows that a lot of people are excited about Plan B, including me. Premium Exploration is a small cap explorer in Idaho. Currently unexciting Plan A was to continue delineating the company’s largely low-grade Friday deposit, which has an NI 43-101 compliant resource of:

      •Indicated: 647,000 Oz Au (20.1 MT @ 1.0 g/t Au with 0.45 g/t cut-off)
      •Inferred: 590,000 Oz Au (20.9 MT @ 0.88 g/t Au with 0.45 g/t cut-off)

While this is well over 1 million ounces combined of Indicated & Inferred, the ore grade fails to impress at a gold price of $1,250/oz. Even though the Friday deposit has some attractive features, for example it’s 30km long, the world is littered with aspiring low-grade heap leach projects that aren’t quite economic. Make no mistake, at $1,600/oz + gold, the goal of possibly doubling the deposit size and moving some ounces into the Measured category is a perfectly reasonable plan.

But with the gold price under pressure, low-grade Plan A is being slow-tracked, which brings us back to Plan B.

Owned Land and Low Upfront Capital Differentiates This Small-Scale Project

It turns out that Premium owns patented land containing a (currently) small amount of high grade ore, about 78k ounces (high teens grams/ton). Since the land is owned outright, permitting hurdles, timelines and costs should be relatively low. If the company could drill out this deposit and find more high-grade gold, it could be, well… sitting on a gold mine! It wouldn’t take a lot more delineated ounces to warrant a small-scale mining operation of say 20k ounces per year.

The key here is that mining could begin within 6-12 months, a possibility that’s leaps and bounds more appealing than years of ongoing exploration. Of course, the company still has to find more high-grade gold, but expanding upon a known small deposit is far easier than finding a new deposit.

Premium has 42 million shares outstanding and a market cap of just C$13 million. The share price has moved significantly higher as the company continues to articulate the high-grade opportunity. While this stock is speculative, a few key factors stand out. In addition to owning the land, the upfront capital to reach production is quite small, probably just a $2-$3 million.

Raising mine start-up capital could be accomplished in the next few months through the exercising of approximately 18 million warrants and options struck at C$0.15. The current share price is C$0.32. Alternatively, a moderate capital raise might be necessary. In any event, equity dilution beyond the fully-diluted share count of 60 million shares should be fairly modest.

Back of the Envelope Valuation of Just a Small-Scale High-Grade Operation

The company has received capital cost estimates, trucking quotes (to a nearby mill) and milling quotes. While more study is required, at first blush the all-in costs per ounce of gold produced appear to be attractive, (especially given the low mine building cost). At 20k finished ounces per year, from about 150 tons mined per day, an annual run-rate cash flow of $5 million should be achievable, (my rough estimate, not necessarily that of management). Even $5 million a year (assuming $1,250/oz gold) would make the company worth 2x-3x the current valuation.

From that point, investors would effectively have three free options, 1) a higher gold price would substantially enhance cash flow, 2) the possibility of increasing output from 20k to 25k-30k ounces over time and 3) self-funding Plan A, i.e. the low-grade heap leach project (assuming a higher gold price environment). I love the cost of free options.

No matter how unlikely the event, free works for me. In this case, if the initial hurdle of reaching a production decision is cleared, perhaps in just a few months, then the likelihood of the three free options having value is pretty good.

      Conclusion

Premium Exploration is a high-risk stock, but several formidable risks facing other junior gold companies are not to be found here. Funding, timeline and permitting risks are low. Exploration risk exists, but it’s far from early-stage or virgin exploration. The cost and availability of infrastructure, including milling, appears to be supportive of the company’s initial scoping of a small, high-grade mine. Idaho is a mining friendly State in a mining friendly country.

As junior players are stalled or left for dead, companies that have viable Plan B’s to bridge them to higher gold prices will not only survive, but have the staying power to thrive. Premium Exploration has options and is prudently and actively pursing a course of action that could make a meaningful difference in its valuation this year.

Premium Exploration leases Idaho mineral claims to TVL

      2015-04-27 14:25 ET - News Release

      Mr. John Ryan reports

PREMIUM ANNOUNCES MINERAL LEASE ON PORTION OF IDAHO PROPERTY

Premium Exploration Inc. has signed a mineral lease on a portion of its extensive approximate 10,000 acres of landholdings in the OreGrande shear zone located in central Idaho. The lessee, TVL Gold LLC, is a private company based in Dallas, Tex.

Premium has signed a long-term lease on approximately 2,000 acres of mineral claims and leases covering the underground high-grade resources at the Friday gold property. The lease covers exploration and development of gold resources that exceed a minimum of six grams per tonne in average grade. Premium retains all rights on the remainder of the mineral inventory, which would include most of the open-pit resources. Internal company calculations (for estimation purposes only) would indicate that of the 1,237,000 ounces of all categories identified in the National Instrument 43-101 report completed in February, 2013, 176,000 ounces would be included under the new lease and 1,061,000 ounces would remain with Premium.

Terms of the lease called for an initial cash payment of $500,000, which has been received in full. These funds have been used to pay accounts payable, primarily those owed to American Drilling Inc., the drilling contractor that executed the 2013/2014 drill program of Premium.

The lease calls for the sum of $750,000 to be spent over the next year on work on qualified expenditures on the ground at the Friday deposit. Beginning the first quarter of 2016 and for four quarters, the lease also calls for advance royalty payments of $50,000. Thereafter, the lease calls for quarterly advance royalty payments of $25,000 until such time as the deposit is placed in continuous production. The company will receive a 2-per-cent net-smelter-return royalty on future production.

Receipt of the funds will also allow the company to pay its account payable stemming from last year's audit with the accounting firm of Fruci & Associates of Spokane, Wash. This payment will allow Fruci to be independent with respect to issuance of the audit for the year-end of 2014. However, the company anticipates that the audit will not be completed in time for the April 30, 2015, filing deadline.

In other news, the company wishes to announce the appointment of Donna Miller as the interim chief financial officer of the company. Ms. Miller has an extensive history of accounting and reporting with both Toronto Stock Exchange-listed and U.S.-listed securities. Ms. Miller is based in Spokane, Wash., in close proximity to the headquarters of the company. The company is pleased to have her on board.

Additionally, president and chief executive officer John Ryan issued the following amplifying statement with respect to the recent departures of Grant Smith and Lisa Maxwell, long-time chief financial officer and corporate secretary, respectively, of the company: "Myself and the board would like to thank Mr. Smith and Ms. Maxwell for their extreme dedication and loyalty to the company. During the very difficult market conditions of the last several years, both of these individuals repeatedly demonstrated an extraordinary dedication to the company and its shareholders. The board wishes them both the most extreme successes in all of their future endeavours."

James Baughman, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed this press release and approves of its content.

Premium Exploration says Buffalo may be high grade

      2015-04-28 14:29 ET - News Release

      Mr. John Ryan reports

PREMIUM EXPLORATION ANNOUNCES REVIEW OF BUFFALO GULCH RESOURCE AND POTENTIAL FOR HIGH GRADE

Premium Exploration Inc. has completed an internal company review of the Buffalo Gulch mineral resource.

The Buffalo Gulch project sits at the very northern end of the approximate 10-mile Oro Grande shear zone being explored by the company. The Buffalo Gulch project has been explored and evaluated in the past as an oxide resource with recovery via heap-leach and a conventional carbon-in-leach circuit. Past metallurgical testing has resulted in 90-per-cent-plus predicted gold recoveries with agglomeration.

In the past the company has, from time to time, released information regarding the Buffalo Gulch deposit based on readily available historical data that are in the possession of the company. The latest evaluation was completed by chief geologist James Baughman with the assistance of a contracted mineral resource estimation specialist based in Denver, Colo., and confirms the historical estimates of the past work that was completed by Bema Gold and others.

The company is also re-evaluating Buffalo Gulch as a high-grade project, especially in light of the drilling success completed at the Friday gold deposit, roughly 10 miles to the south. Recently the company has leased the Friday high-grade resource to privately held TVL Gold LLC. It is the understanding of the company that TVL plans further exploration and development of the project this upcoming year in accordance with its work commitment.

Structural controls of mineralization for high-grade resources are now better understood as a result of the work completed throughout 2014-2015 and the new data provided by the drill program of last winter. Average depth of the past drilling at Buffalo Gulch was approximately 170 feet. The postulated high-grade feeder structures at Buffalo Gulch would be located at in excess of 500 feet, thus the possible higher-grade feeder structures have not been tested by past drilling.

Additionally there are untested induced polarization chargeability anomalies located over the Buffalo Gulch resource which remain untested. These IP anomalies would indicate a deeper sulphide mineralization zone, which is indicative of a higher-grade gold-pyrite system analogous to that discovered at the Friday high-grade area.

Commented Mr. Baughman, chief geologist: "Regional structural control in this district begins with the formation of an orogenic, deep-seated, low-sulphidation gold system with carbonate/mica alteration with few quartz veins. There was a later barren northwest-trending quartz vein system that is evident in the district. The lack of a gold-rich quartz reef was a problem for historical prospectors and miners as outcropping quartz was a marker for their exploration efforts. Finally, Eocene dacite dikes intruded the shear zone along high-grade gold shears, and is an important marker for delineating and understanding the bonanza zones."

Commented John Ryan, chief executive officer of Premium: "We are excited to continue to evaluate the Buffalo Gulch as an oxide heap-leach and as a possible high-grade prospect. We are also continuing our work in understanding the ore controls on the high-grade potential as we believe that there is very substantial potential for multiple high-grade mines to be developed in the Elk City district. Our superior land package focused on the heart of the main north-south shear zone puts the company in an ideal place to explore and develop this future gold potential."

In other news the company would like to clarify that with respect to its news release as of April 27, 2015, announcing the lease on the Friday project, all dollar amounts mentioned in the release are in U.S. dollars.

Mr. Baughman, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed this press release and approves of its content.

Die Auswahl an Rhodiumaktien ist zurückgegangen, das Zeug ist zu teuer in der Produktion...
