.....DARÜBER hinaus sollte auch APPLEs ankündigung fürs iPHONE 6
nen graphene sceen zu verwenden für nen neuerlichen anschub sorgen
können....IMO
lest dazu mal nachfolg. nen beitrag ausm austr. HC- board.........
So graphene is coming out of the research labs and into the mainstream with who else but Apple.
http://www.behance.net/gallery/iPhone-6-You-wont-believe-it-…
The iphone 6 is touted to have a graphene composite screen ( unbreakable ) and also an aluminium carbon composite case.
I have plenty of friends with cracked smartphone screens so I think we could reasonably expect graphene composite screens to eventually become industry standard.
Which leads to exactly how many smartphones are getting manufactured? 1.5 billion per annum in 2016 according to this report http://www.businessinsider.com.au/smartphone-sales-forecast-…
Whether AXE's Campoona deposit enters into this market segment or not remains to be seen...

Archer Exploration Limited - Half Yearly Report and Accounts
Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) - Archer Exploration Limited (ASX:AXE) exploration activities during the six months ended 31 December 2012 focused on exploration of the Group's Campoona and Sugarloaf Graphite projects, on the Leigh Creek Magnesite deposits and airborne EM surveys over the Company's Burra Region copper and gold targets. All projects are located in South Australia.
The following summary lists the operational activities for the half-year ended 31 December 2012:

Archer Exploration hits bulls eye at Campoona graphite project
Thursday, December 06, 2012 by Proactive Investors
File picture. File picture.
Archer Exploration (ASX:AXE) has defined 2.572 million tonnes of JORC compliant graphite grading at 12.3% at its Campoona graphite project in South Australia.
It has also defined 310,800 tonnes of contained graphite at a lower cut-off grade of 5%.
The Campoona JORC Resource estimation was done by MiningPlus.
Archer is now conducting scoping study including environmental baseline studies.
The scoping study is likely to transition into a pre-feasibility study starting mid calendar year 2013, which will in turn lead to a definitive feasibility starting in the second half of 2013.
It has made significant progress of defining the optimum processing flow sheet for the extraction of high value graphite product with initial results showing that more than 98% of the graphite concentrates are reproducible with excellent recoveries.
Phase 2 Resource drilling is likely to start in Central Campoona in February 2013.
With 80% of the Campoona strike yet to be drilling, Archer plans drill for resource extension in the North and South of the Campoona Shaft and Central Campoona in April 2013. This will help define the likely exploration target for the combined graphite deposit.
The JORC Resources used data from five diamond drill holes and thirty seven reverse circulation drill holes completed until this September.
The JORC Resource, which has been achieved within 9 months of the discovery drill hole, is estimated to contain almost 400,000 tonnes of contained graphite that occurs as highly graphitic, uniform and steeply dipping schist, which outcrops in the Campoona Shaft area.
Central Campoona graphite pod, located just 2 kilometres south of Campoona Shaft, has been drilled on a 200 metre spacing with on‐section drill spacings from 20‐40 metres.
Central Campoona has a known strike of 1,400 metres. Drill density over a length of 200 metres of the known strike was deemed sufficient to support an Inferred Resource of 0.295 million tonnes grading 12.5%.
Archer will soon start regional drill testing to test a series of known graphite occurrences and a number of additional EM targets identified by the regional airborne EM surveys over Archer’s 1,200 square kilometres landholding at Cleve.
The objective of Archer’s regional program is to identify those graphite targets likely to translate into future resources for any Campoona‐based processing facility.

Archer Exploration's shares soaring
Archer Exploration (ASX: AXE) has caught the attention of investors today with the stock up 26% to $0.24 in after-noon trade, on strong volume of more than 1.7 million shares.
Archer hasn't made an announcement to the ASX today, but on Friday morning did release a new presentation along with the chairman's AGM address.
Most important to investors is that Archer has a very small enterprise value of around just $4 million (based on Friday's $0.19 price for a market cap. of $15.6 million with cash of $11.87 million as at September 2012).
Gerard Anderson, managing director, outlined in the presentation that the company's portfolio which has extensive mineral exposure including; Graphite, Copper, Gold, Magnesite/magnesia, Manganese ± REE, Coal - CSG, Phosphate, Barite and Iron ore.
At the highly prospective Campoona Graphite, resource drilling has been completed at the Campoona Shaft on 50 metre by 20 metre spacing, with a resource expected in December 2012.
Archer is targeting a minimum 5 million tonne aggregate JORC Resource at the Campoona Shaft and Central Campoona
Importantly - an airborne EM survey highlighted strike extensions to Campoona for future drill testing.
Metallurgical diamond drill holes have been completed to supply samples for ore characterisation tests and process design. The baseline Flora and Fauna Studies contract was awarded to Golder Associates Pty Ltd.
Campoona history
- Airborne EM surveys conducted as part of base metal exploration in the mid-1980s indentified several highly conductive bodies in the Campoona area including the Campoona graphite trend.
- Other elongate EM conductors, which are parallel to Campoona were drilled by ESSO at High Bluff and were confirmed as graphitic in origin.
- A 1991 petrology report identified the graphite ranging in size 0.1mm to 0.3mm with an average flake size of 0.2mm or 200 microns.
- Two samples were collected in June 2011 and submitted for petrological examination by Pontifex and Associates in Adelaide. Results confirm the 1991 observations. Graphite content was reported as 25-30%. Size ranged mostly 10-50 microns (width) x 250 microns (length).

Graphite is the "it" mineral of the moment, but as an investment space it remains largely misunderstood. In this exclusive interview with The Critical Metals Report, Glen Jones, executive director for the Western Hemisphere at Intierra Resource Intelligence, suggests investors research extensively to protect against loss, and names some of his favorite projects that may serve as a jumping-off point for the graphite-curious..
